They will steal you blind here!
Waiting for a flight from Atlanta Airport (to DFW) I took my eyes off my purse that was between my feet on the floor for about 3-4 minutes while reading a book and it was stolen! Within a few minutes of reading a book and not paying attention, it was gone. It was my fault, but in other airports I've looked away for a few minutes from my bags and NEVER had anything stolen. This is one of the biggest airports in the world, so I can see how thieves could see this place as the perfect place/opportunity to take advantage of people. Weary travelers who miss flights, have to sleep in the airport, have kids distracting them, etc. makes the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport the perfect place to pick pocket or take luggage and personal belongings. DO NOT leave your things here unattended for ONE second (or let yourself be distracted)!! People are watching you!! I had jewelry and photos in my purse that can never be replaced. 💔 Be aware of who's around you and where your things are every single second. I won't travel through Atlanta, Georgia again if I can help it. Awful travel experience I won't soon forget!
I love Atlanta
I love Atlanta. Warm weather and plenty of good lounges. The airport is nicely done except for the tram that takes you to the rental car place. Slower than expected given how new everything looks. Like 1980's slow.
