What Just Happened in the C34 Bathroom

I just had one of the most amazing experiences in the bathroom near gate C34 in the airport.

Hear me out: the attendant Marvina treated everyone walking in there like we are VIPs walking on the red carpet at the Oscars — or better.

Whoever hired this beautiful soul, thank you. She blessed my day and changed the atmosphere of the entire C terminal.

Worst airport in the country!

Worst airport in the country! I have traveled to 54 countries and counting, and this airport is incredibly inefficient in processing international flights and connections. Staff extremely lazy and unhelpful. And they have an announcement saying they are committed to supporting the fight against human tracking. It goes on to say..."if you see something, call 911." Why the heck would I call local police in lieu of airport authority and security?!? Lazy! And this does not just apply to airport staff...this includes TSA, airline staff (such as Delta), and restaurant staff assigned to this airport. It's the absolute worst!

I fly through here quite often and for an airport this size, it is amazingly “okay” almost all the time. The traffic in Atlanta is worse than anywhere, and getting into the airport can be a mess, but once we are inside there is plenty to eat and usually lots of charging ports.

Nasty rude staff

Nasty rude staff! Every time I come from NY and head back home I prepare for the unprofessionalism when they scan my bags. They think they Sargents and we prisoners. If they miserable they shouldn't be working with people.

Frustrated. It should be better

My wife and I, both senior citizens, arrived to the airport Wednesday, 11//27/24 around 825pm on Southwest Airlines flight. My wife required a wheelchair. There was a shortage of staff to assist with the wheelchair., therefore I offered to push the chair to pick up our baggage. While backing my wife into the tramway/train the doors closed on my wife's legs and would not reopen. Thankfully there were a couple of young male passengers who assisted me pry the doors open to free my wife before the train took off. As soon as we got my wife in, the doors closed and the train began to move, jerking and stopping several times before finally began to move at a normal pace. We were so nervous after this event it was hard to even continue to the baggage claim. We asked a couple of employees in airport uniforms how to get to the baggage claim and they were rude, did not smile or gave unclear directions...such as 'get off at terminal the T stop. I still have visions of what would have happened if my wife had gotten hurt or the train would have moved while my wife was trapped between the doors. On the return trip, going through TSA was very frustrating. We arrived to the airport an hour and half before our flight. The wheelchair attendant got us to the TSA checkpoint and there seemed to be confusion or unclear communication between the TSA staff about opening another gate/line to check in wheelchairs. One of the staff readjusted the route straps several times and next thing we know passengers who were behind us were being checked in before us. We were going to use two bins, but one of the TSA assistants combined both mine and my wifes belongings into one bin including my wife's cloth carry-on bag. Well when the bin went through the scanner the carry-on bag fell out of the bin. We waited a minute or so for the bin with our belongings to come down. The agent on the receiving side of the scanner finally said something is missing out the bin. I told him the carry-on bag fell off. He said oh, the bin and bag will have to go back through the scanner. Rather getting to the gate with time to spare as we planned - we got to the gate just as they were about to board. Very little time to use bathroom or anything

Disappointed

We were returning home from the Atlanta airport and were excited that there wasn't a long line at the security check in point. Well our smiles were wiped away quickly by the check in staff who were all unhelpful and quite frankly rude. They were ordering us around like we were their children. They treated us like we were supposed to know what to do. They need training.

One of the meanest airports I have ever been to. Saw a screening agent smack the plexiglass and called someone an idiot because he didn’t realize which slot to slip his ID into. The traveler asked nicely to clarify directions and she called him an idiot.

Yall don't even deserve 1 star

Yall don't even deserve 1 star. I am here tonight 9:30 p.m. the 30th. The TSA from the Old guy to your right checking i.d.s to the "security" to the right when your first checking your bags. Those ppl were extremely rude & not professional at all. I will definitely share my opinion & take my business elsewhere.

Lousy communication and impolite drivers

As you enter the airport, the Park-ride signage doesn’t indicate whether this refers to expensive hourly parking or long-term economy parking, so you take a risk by turning into the one-way in one-way out lot. There’s also no assurance that you’re entering a lot that provides a shuttle to the airport. So, unless you’ve done a lot of research, been there before, or just happen to see a shuttle circling, you’re gambling on whether you’ll be able to get yourself and your luggage to the airport, especially if you’re not capable of jogging with your luggage a half mile to the terminal. Traveling alone and seeing no option, I pulled into the lot, found an open space, grabbed my luggage and moved toward the entrance to intercept a shuttle. The driver waved “no no” at me; he would not be picking me up. As he passed with the door still open i asked “Where is the bus stop?” He answered, “I don’t know!” I kid you not. The lady driving the second shuttle paused long enough to say: “Get back in your car and drive to the far end of the lot and follow the arrows” No arrows in sight, I put my luggage back in the car and started circling. Two lots over i started seeing arrows, found an empty space, and waited nervously until a shuttle appeared. Without greeting or answer to my questions, the driver begrudgingly allowed me aboard. I had to assume we were going to the particular terminal i needed. Yes, I made it to the airport, but it was so stressful and unnecessarily so!

This is the most horrible airport I…

This is the most horrible airport I have ever encountered. Look I know Delta Airlines is a terrible company but most of my problems on this trip were caused by airport employees. I also know these people are poorly paid, but that is no excuse. With few exceptions they are rude and unhelpful. In this case there was a plane load of people trying to make connections but they only had one lane open. They also insisted on opening each duty free package, which caused further delays. If people asked questions they just turn and walk away. And must they continually scream at everyone? How on earth did they manage to hire so many incompetent people. My advice ....avoid this airport at all cost.

Terrible staff

Terrible staff. Would not let us use plastic bins and had everyone place clothing and personal belongings right on rollers causing things to fall and get caught. I think they did not want to bother to replenish or deal with the bins. Police officer in the cage was playing solitaire on his I pad sprawled out on a chair. No air conditioning or minimal in all terminals . This airport as busy as it is cannot handle the business. I will avoid connections here at all costs. No one on staff looked like if they did not have to be there , wouldn’t. Mayor should be ashamed to have international and domestic travelers experience this in Atlanta. Not a good show at all for this city.

Don't leave your cars in the Dayly parking lot. My son traveled 5 days for work and when he returned he didn't find his car, only glass on the ground. It's disrespectful, they make you think there's security when there isn't, they charge you when the truth is they don't give, they just want to take their money.

Treatment at the US Border Control in ATL

This complaint goes to the US Border Authorities at Atlanta Airport.

We flew in yesterday 16 Aug 24 from Bogotá and were on transit to Paris and Düsseldorf. After passing through passport control (our whole 4 persons family had to give fingerprints whereas others didn'thave to - who knows why ????) we had a very disgusting experience in the hand luggage security control. Almost all of of the FEMALE officers where extremely unfriendly. As a passenger who is on connecting flights you usually don't say anything because you don't want to be sent back to the queues' end. The treatment was humiliating especially for my wife who is Colombian. Why do people behave like jail vigilants once they get dressed with a uniform?
This was really a disgusting and totally inappropriate and unacceptable behavior from the border control Authorities.
This was our LAST time to transfer through Atlanta. Unfortunately in a prior journey some years ago we had a similar experience. I want to be treated as a guest, not as a criminal.

World's worst airport for passport…

World's worst airport for passport control.....
I travel to Atlanta regularly because I have family here and each time I travel the experience just gets worse. Most recent experience a few days ago.... 2 hour queue to passport control, reason being? Insufficient number staff who prioritize US citizens; amazed people aren't fainting due to the heat and lack of air, especially after a long flight, no apology from staff when you get to the desk, only rudeness

Stay away from this airport if able

This airport completely changed my views of Georgia The majority of the employees were so very rude and unhelpful. I just felt unsafe there. It was very busy, and no where to eat at the restaurants because they were full. We did run into one Angel staff member. He helped push my handicap father all around the airport without even asking. He told us to keep close because " this airport is full of snakes". He probably wanted a big tip lol, and he got one, but he at least took the time to be helpful. We have drove through Georgia before and liked it, but I no longer want to EVER go back to Georgia! I sure as HECK will never go back to that airport again. We were there twice throughout our last vacation for a lay over at different times of the day and it was a equal nightmare!

ATL is the worst airport in history

ATL is the worst airport in history, its not the airport, but the employees. they are not disability friendly at all. I have low vision, and needed a wheelchair to get thought the airport, the employee that push me took me to my location and then ask me for a tip, i had no money on me, so she took the chair and had a smart remark. Custom is the worst ever. When me and my daughter arrive back from Jamaica, there was a wheelchair there, but no one was there, so a maintance guy push me so far, then my daughter had to continue. we continue to customs, and i had to push two big suitcases, while my daughter was pushing the chair. we passed several young people standing around joking around that work in custom, and not one reach out to help. When we finally got some help form a employee that seen us struggling he took our suitcases. when we was going into the custom line, I asked a young man which line we go through, he began to screen out loud in a cartoon voice to get laughs and embarrassed me, When i was in line to go through security, I was in tears because i did not understand why the bad treatment. I told the guy at security what happen, his comment was they just be acting like that, WOW is all i can say. They treat you like you are a criminal.

Worst Airport in USA

The longest TSA line with the rudest TSA agents ever. One actually made an announcement and said," If you get in my line and your passport photo is not open before I will kick you out PERIODT", those were there exact words" because we were irritating her as it should be a quick process. If you have not traveled to an airport with the same type of system, how would one know???? It would be more professional to intermittently provide a courtesy announcement of how the system works. I believe they get paid to direct and advise. Atlanta Airport is an embarrassment.
