Once they have your money they dont care about you
Once they have your money they don’t care about you. Had a no fault claim. Other driver admitted fault at the time. Offered me peanuts for my mint condition Amarok (before accident) which I refused. After providing evidence of current market value they did increase the write off amount by £8000!
I tried to claim for personal injury and other party now only stating 20% fault so admiral have told me to either accept the offer or find someone else to handle my case. Left me high and dry with an unsettled case for 1.5 years which affects my renewal quotes. Rude and unhelpful customer service reps. Even admiral law (that I paid extra to have) are useless.

Big name, good cover including Tesla roof glass
The quote was very competative and what sold it was the cover for the Tesla glass roof whichbis covered under normal glass claim and doesnt affect NCD. This was a big consideration for me as I have heard of issues with Tesla glass. The cover was what I wanted and despite a high excess I hope never to use it.
Unfortunately I had just renewed my home insurance but at renewal I will look at what is offered to combine both. The call handler was very knowledgable and tried his best to save me more money but in the end I was happy, despite it being more than my previous Ev.
Insurance is only as good as the service you get with a claim and I hope never to test that but I am happy that Admiral are a major company and not an unknown entity.
I took out the insurance about 3 weeks before it was due and as Martin Lewis says this seems to be the sweet spot.
