Easy to use website
Easy to use website, very informative and great experience at the Nabal winery in Burgos, Spain. I can highly recommend. There was a problem with the time we chose but we were contacted the next day with alternative time so quickly sorted. Looking forward to our next vineyard.

Amazing experience

Winetourism.com advertises a tour of the Chateau Mukhrani Winery and Estate in Georgia on its site suggesting available slots without any advance notice (as close as the next day) for a price of 56Euros/ adult. Upon contacting and visiting the winery directly, they said they were full for the next month and that they have no provision for online bookings via winetourism. Beware of this website, folks - its credentials are questionable!

To start with, we partner with 3000+ wineries & wine guides. Contrary to what you call "on its site suggesting available slots without any advance notice (as close as the next day)", we work with the most wineries based on "reservation upon prior confirmation" model meaning wineries indicate their typical schedule in their profile, however any booking request must be confirmed based on real time winery's availability. To assure you, we kindly invite you to read the content of the emails you received during the booking process and the Booking Terms on our website.
As in case of your reservation, Chateau Mukhrani was unavailable on the initially requested time and suggested you another time for the visit which you declined thus your booking request was canceled. The winery is fully aware of our partnership: once received your review, we immediately contacted the winery to figure out the case. The winery manager let us know that they have a big team and some team members might be not aware of the cooperation they have with us which is reasonable as we are in touch with the manager responsible for the cooperation with the travel platforms like ours.
In order to facilitate the fast booking process, we recommend to check our "Instantly Bookable" experiences - those that are immediately confirmed and don't need prior confirmation from the winery. Very good site to find out about high quality wine offers in various regions! Couldn't find any offers through my own research that weren't already present on the site anyway.
The service was also great! We reserved a wine tasting, which unfortunately was no longer available from the winery. Money was returned immediately, including a friendly reply with several alternative suggestions :)

Failed to organise my tour...
Failed to organise the tour I had booked as they couldn't contact the winery... Then they waited 2 months until I chased them to check in on the booking (as I had not heard anything from them), until they let me know that it was cancelled.
Poor experience, safer options out there.

Although we try to make sure 100% of orders made through our site are completed, there are some cases where we due to some unforeseen circumstances, our partner wineries are unavailable, even for us to contact.
We work with new systems to make sure we do not have these cases at all, but it does happen sometimes, and we are really sorry that you had to face the inconvenience. We would like to offer you a virtual winery tour as a form of apology and if possible, we would also like to help you find a tour in a different winery nearby on the day you planned your visit.

I always use winetourism.com to reserach details about new wine regions I visit. It's a really great resource for this and help me plan a lot of my trips around both Portugal and Spain.

Seriously, winetourism.com was such a savior! Last month, I and my friends were on a Europe trip, and being a wine lover, "visiting one of the classic wineries" was one last thing on our bucket list. As we were short of time, we somehow came across winetourism.com. We were fascinated by the thousands of options that were placed before us by this platform. As we were navigating through the website, we were quite surprised by how easy it was to book an experience. Moreover, our visit confirmation was sent to us the same day by the team! Not to mention the fantastic tour and tasting experience that we had at the winery itself!

DO NOT USE WINETOURISM. I booked and paid 30 Euros for a wine tasting and tour at a vinyard in Alsace. When we (3 persons) met up, the visit was not arranged and we did not receive a tour or introduction as paid for. The person in charge checked their emails etc. and made inqueries on a booking from Winetourism, and the conclusion stands firmly that the vinyardhad not received any message or order confirmation on the matter. I contacted WInetourism by email the same day, but I have still not received any response or got my payment refunded. I have also tried to pnone Winetourism, but rceived this message: "The dialed number does not exist".
Updated review per 6 December 2023: I was never contacted by Winetourism, although the company claims so in their repply. I shall be pleased to receive the refund and I will report on the future progress, if any.
