I WOULD NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY WHEN SELLING A MOBILE PHONE

They give you an offer online and then when they get their hands on it, reduce it to a mere fraction of the amount, stating there are things wrong with the phone that are not actually true.

What is more insulting is when you speak with them on the phone, they manage to find an extra five, ten or fifteen pounds to add on as "a goodwill gesture", which is still well below their original online offer. Give you a pre-scripted spiel on how they come to the email offer. Disgraceful selling tatics! Funny how they can then increase the price when you say you are not happy with their written offer and want the phone returning.

I'd rather throw it in a recycle bin than take the insulting offers these guys eventually pay you. Totally stinks. Con merchants!

AVOID THIS COMPANY - STAY CLEAR!!!

This company is a scam, like what they have done to most people here, they offered £326 for my phone once they received it they said screen has scratches on it would come out with a polish or screen may need replaced which was not true phone has always been in a case not one scratch on it, they reduced the offer to £70 lol, oh also they didnt even contact me to advise this I had to chase them as I hadn't heard anything, got them to send me the phone back next day sold it for £270 as phone was in mint condition, what a mess about wont be using them again, stay clear!

Also if the screen was in condition they said why did it sell 3hrs after i received it for full asking price on another platform?

Clear & simple procedure to complete all the required details and I was offered a very competitive price. I have sold phones here before and been very happy with the service. Overall very pleased and a highly recommended way to sell a phone.

Absolute Scam people
They quote me £370 for my Samsung S25 512GB in a mint condition, and shock to receive the offer of £215. I was not expecting this kind of scam.
I was keep asking them to send my phone back and they were keep playing and offering me £5 extra each time I email.
They are real con artist people.
Please stay away for this company at all cost.
Total waste of time and very stressful experience.

If selling your phone, beware of this company. They'll offer a very attractive over inflated price and then not pay it, claiming the phone is not in pristine condition. My phone WAS. Not a mark on it. Looked like new! Offer price £351..actual price paid £221. Absolute swindlers. I wish I'd read the reviews first. People saying the same thing over and over again! Steer clear!

Good understanding of my problem

Very picky about condition.
My phone had a skin, screen protector and case on it the entire time I owned it.
In my opinion it made the "good condition|" criteria. However, upon their inspection, even though it passed everything they still dropped the initial offer by £130.
Having looked on trust pilot I had seen that they are bad for doing this but decided to take a chance since they made the best offer and my phone was in good condition.
I called them and they upped the offer but not by much.
The appear to reel you in with an offer you can't confuse in the hope that you'll cave and just accept it, which is ultimately what I did.
Overall I am not impressed with the way they work. They won't get my custom again.

I am extremely disappointed with WeBuyAnyPhone and the offer I received.

I sent my iPhone 11 Pro to them based on the online valuation of £112. After they received the phone, I was informed that it had raised screen. I strongly dispute this claim, as there was absolutely no such issue when I sent it.

I was fully aware that the phone had some scratches on the screen and a few marks on the body, which was reflected in the condition I selected. However, the phone was 100% functional, with no dents, cracks, screen defects, or structural issues.

I was initially offered just £5 for the device, which I refused and requested that my phone be returned. I was then offered £30 instead, or alternatively asked to pay £15 to have my own phone sent back to me.

Reducing a valuation from £112 to £5 based on a condition issue that I do not believe existed is unacceptable. The subsequent increase to £30 only made the process seem even more questionable.

Overall, this experience has been extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend this service based on my experience.

Excellent manner

Like all of the other reviews state, you are led in with a great offer. You send off your phone and are given a musch lower offer. I sent in my iPhone 15 pro max, which is immaculate, and was knocked down from "good" to "pretty good" for the idfference of around £150.

Note, you are unable to decline their new offer via the website, you have to email/call up which is a bit cheeky.

My phone has now also arrived back to me with a new mark on it, which wasn't on there before.

I wouldn't bother sending your phone here, send it off (like i have) to Mazuma, who have now graded mine as good and i've got the full amount.

Complete Scam - Avoid
This company offer you great price online and when they examine the phone they come back with insulting offer, claiming there is minor damage / or a scuff mark. My phone has had a case and screen protector fitted since day 1

Avoid these scam artists, you would get better price at one of your local high street shops.

I wish I had known this prior to sending my phone.

Also it has taken almost 3 weeks since sending off the phone for them to process it there end !!

Really efficient, kind and attentive - didn’t make you feel as if you were speaking to a robot and got my enquiry sorted with ease and efficiency - couldn’t complain at all! 😇

The agent I spoke to was extremely helpful,listened to my concerns, treated me as an individual. Whilst the outcome of my trade in was extensive disappointing the aftercare service I received was fantastic.Thank you and have a lovely weekend.

ADDITIONAL UPDATE - THEY THEN TRIED TO CHARGE ME £10 TO GET MY OWN PHONE BACK - ABSOLUTE SCENES!!! --- Absolute JOKE! The usual High offer to then hammer it down by 75%. As others have mentioned, they think using the video of the check proves the screen is all scratched - all it proves is the phone is in perfect cosmetic condition - clowns. Called customer service and spoke to a lovely rep who I feel for having to front for these con artists! She then offered me almost DOUBLE their revised offer - again, just shows they are conning us!

Great customer care. Shame about the price offered but happy to send the phone back
