Outstanding Service from Start to Finish

I recently purchased a Breitling from WatchTrader, and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish.

I dealt primarily with Ben, who was professional, honest, and helpful throughout the process. His communication was first-class, and I always felt completely at ease with the purchase. There was a slight hiccup with tracking as the watch was being delivered to the Channel Islands — it was routed via Guernsey and didn’t immediately show as scanned into Jersey, which caused a few tense hours. However, after a quick phone call with John in the Newcastle boutique, he personally checked the system, confirmed the watch was in transit, and sure enough, it was delivered safely to my home just a few hours later.

The watch itself exceeded expectations — pristine condition, beautifully packaged, and exactly as described. This particular purchase meant a lot to me, as it replaced a Breitling I’d sadly had to sell during Covid. To now have it back — in even better condition and as an updated model — is something quite special.

The whole team were outstanding, from Ben’s professionalism to John’s reassurance and care. Five stars, top to bottom. I’ll certainly be returning to WatchTrader when I decide on my next timepiece.

Ordered my watch and it was delivered within 24 hours, had great service from Josh who handled everything via Whatsapp, sent me pictures and videos and maintained great communication throughout. There was an issue with the watch but they contacted me and made it right. I wish it wasn't needed, but mistakes do happen and they owned to it and made it right out of their own pocket. So my review is now 5 starts and I'll most likely buy again!

I can't believe I purchased a Rolex from Watchtrader by email. I made my enquiry on a bank holiday, and I was amazed to get an immediate response. After several emails back and forth with Ben, I don't know how he put with my endless questions. However, it resulted in my purchase of a fabulous Daytona in absolutely as new condition - thank you Ben.

After sourcing the watch i wanted i contacted watchtrader and spoke to josh who was very helpful and knowledgeable and answered all my questions.

BEWARE!!
They valued my watch at £7,200. After driving 2 hours of a 4 hour round trip I was told that they had made a mistake and they would only actually give me £6,500. I reluctantly sold them the watch, and was told I would receive the money the following week. Since then I have made repeated phone calls asking when I will receive the money only to be told every time “you will be paid today between 4pm and 5pm. You then have to wait until the following day to call as this is the time they close and they tell you the same thing again. They tell you one again, oh they made a mistake it’s definitely on for today !
This is the first negative review I have ever left anyone but I think they need to be more honest and pay up on time.

However the valuation of a 2017 18ct Gold Navitimer was insultive.
Genuinely 50% lower than a better known online watch buyer / seller, shocking.
I completely understand these guys need to make money, they are a business - granted
WatchTrader, if you dont really want to buy a particular brand and or model - dont make senseless offer
You insult the customer, you insult the brand, you insult the market
WatchTrader a no go for me
