They installed my equipment on Friday and Monday I was looking at everything and found out they didn’t install a sensor on one of my doors , and I’m having a hard time getting them to come back and install it , they are busy doing other people s alarms will come by when they are in the area again , I should be first because the install was never completed
When the agent came to my home…
When the agent came to my home everything that was discussed regarding the products I would receive were not met. I advised I had children and needed sensors on my windows. The agent TOLD me they would be able to connect to my ADT sensors. When the tech came to my home that was not correct. I was told I would have a shock sensor and a sensor in my home and I was advised my the tech that was incorrect. I was told by the agent I would have an alarm extender and that was true. I had to call ADT and now I have to make a one time payment of 50 dollars to get it. I felt rushed when doing my paperwork and the agent kept telling me it would be in my email. Also I’m not sure why we had to take a picture with the agent as well. Overall I am not happy with the service I received.

Service was not good. Tech forgot to install sensors. Left cords at my house as well as slow connection to cameras on my phone for viewing
low battery warning 4 days after install
I liked my installer but then 4 days later I received a “low battery” warning. When i’ve tried to get technician help it wanted to coach me on how to change it myself. Sorry but after 4 days I need both the battery and the lock itself inspected
VIVINT has terrible customer service
VIVINT has terrible customer service. I am in shock. Go with any other company but this one.
Customer Service needs work. Installer was great
Javier, who came and installed was great! He definitely turned out Vivint experience around. The customer service side of it was awful. My husband is the one who began the process with Vivint. They scheduled it on the call and later he got an email with a different date a week later. He called again and then finally agreed to that later date. However it got closer to the date and he gets a text for a different date. And then it was scheduled again. It finally stuck. He told them exactly what we wanted and they said they got it. Another thing was we had it scheduled for the date he was off work but it eventually got scheduled for a day he was gone and I was busy, but I stayed since they said they only needed someone 18+ for install. That was not the case. There was a tone of paperwork that he had to since and he was unable due to being on a call (paramedic).
Thankfully J was extremely helpful at getting everything transferred to my name so I could get this taken care of and nobody’s time was wasted. I really like the system. Customer services was horrendous.

I personally don't care for all the trouble shooting they expect us to do. I have spent hours on the phone fixing my own things at home. I'm not getting paid to do so. I like the old school way of when something is broken the company comes out to fix it, because that's what we pay for. I also have the protection plan and needed/ wanted a technician to come out for multiple things and still got charged the 99 dollar fee because I didn't trouble shoot first. Well the camera that was just installed that wasn't working involved the tech getting on a ladder and a lot of back and forth to get it fixed, so I wouldn't have been able to trouble shoot that! The technician was great and very helpful!
