We ordered this shirt for my son who just transitioned from a pacer in his abdomen to one below his collar bone. He plays baseball for his 8th grade team and requires protection to play, and your shirt was exactly what we were looking for.

Even to the United States, shipping took less than a week, which was beneficial because he needed it to be allowed to practice the following week.

Sizing seems in line with regular clothing.

Would probably recommend a second shirt if it’s something you’re wearing on a regular basis unless you enjoy nightly washings-an oversight on my part.

Overall very happy with the shirt and will purchase again in the future.

It's a great idea... but the price is a rip off and they seem to be hoping that you won't do your homework and find products like Demon United, Demon D3O Chest Plate.

Which only costs $75 Canadian dollars, for full chest protection with a D3O pad, instead of the Vital Beat, which is maybe a quarter of the size, for $300 Canadian dollars.

Hopefully this helps others not make the same costly mistake as I did.

Vital beat were easy and efficient to deal with. Instructions for getting the correct size were clear. Payment was easy. Delivery was timely (to New Zealand). The shirt is high quality and fits well. The shield covers my pacemaker and will protect it while I am wearing a heavy backpack.

Works as advertised. Top quality and worth the investment. Could actually be marketed to broader segment of users, if you consider that even sedentary pacemaker patients use seatbelts and risk pacemaker related injuries in auto accidents!

Still having to come to terms with having an ICD. The protector has given me the confidence to enjoy the snowy and icy conditions of Squamish.
The sizing was spot on, and the tee shirt comfortably to wear, well fitting, washes well, and is odourless if worn for days without washing. Delivered in a timely manner and on opening the box, the little personal note was lovely.
Expensive yes, would I recommend yes, would I purchase again yes.

During my last holiday travel, I wore my pacemaker protector. I feel confident and with peace of mind while I was on the move. I could confidently use my two shoulder bags on both of my shoulders. It really helped me feel safe with peace of mind when physically active.

I proactively and specifically asked about the position of the pocket on the shirt, as my ICD looked to be more in the center of my left breast. After taking the additional measurements that they asked for, i was emailed that the standard would work. However, when the shirt arrived, it was not even close! The edge of the pocket fell right on the middle of the device.
After spending so much time and money and proactively asking to ensure a proper fit, it is pretty frustrating to have to deal with the failure. They did offer to have me mark my shirt and ship it back at my expense. I also needed to buy another shirt and then they would refund that when they received my shirt. However, as i estimated, the time it would have taken to measure and mark a shirt, ship it back to the Netherlands and then have them make and then expedite a shipment back would not have occurred in 48 hours i needed. As such, I didn't have a viable option to rectify the mishap. I ended up having to pay a local tailor to get it right. I like the product, but your processes should take into account the variety of body shapes, sizes and placements of the devices.
Providing the additional measurements requested, did NOT ensure a proper fit and caused extra time and expense. You should find a process that works and/or allow customers to buy just the padding and not be required to buy the shirt.

Ordered on the Tuesday and the pad and vest arrived 3 days later which is great considering I live in the UK and it is coming from the Netherlands.

Excellent service from Thadeo who despatched the shirt from Manchester so that I didn't have to pay customs duty.

One small gripe is that the opening to the pocket for the shield on the shirt is very small making it pretty difficult to insert the shield into the pocket.

I purchased the pacemaker shirt and both protective shields. The shirt is very comfortable and the pocket is well located to hold the shields. The customer support has been outstanding. I highly recommend the product.
