Village Vets Formby and Crosby Reviews 

My dog Duncan loves going to the vets, as he made a fuss of by all the staff and vets. Everyone in there is very friendly and I would highly recommend Crosby vets to anyone. They look after Duncan very well and are there to help in anyway they can. Vet Christina was great with Duncan when he had his booster and answered all the questions I asked . Overall I’m very happy for Duncan to be at this vet practice ..

Village Vets is such an amazing vets. Still a family run business and every time you go in there it feels it They know Peggy and fuss over her. When you see the vet they're so welcoming and knowledgeable. It can't be an easy job working in a vets but they make it look easy. I trust them implicitly. Wouldn't go anywhere else

I have used Village Vets in Formby for years and really appreciate their friendly staff and caring attitude. Being a family owned business was one of the main reasons I go to them ,rather than a corporate entity.
I would thoroughly recommend Village Vets to anyone wanting a professional service with a caring outlook.

It’s tough walking past the surgery in Formby as our dog pulls to go in for a cuddle and a biscuit ! We always feel listened to whatever we are in for and they check everything thoroughly
The waiting room is spacious and not too busy so think a nervous dog would feel comfortable and they are always happy just for pop ins to get weighed or to just sit and enjoy a calm place

A great vet. Always very knowledgable, so caring and respectful of each animal. Always is very honest with the owners.
On arrival always welcomed with friendliness and respect, as is the dog/cat etc.

I recently had to go to the village practice due my dog Alfie was poorly.
I rang at 8.30am and received an appointment for 9.10am.
I saw a veterinary surgeon called Gaynor.
Gaynor was so lovely to alfie, very througher and patient.
She explained in detail about Alfies condition.
The whole practice is lovely, receptionist and veterinary nurses.
The owner should be very proud of her excellent team.
I would fully recommend this family surgery.

The staff are so kind and lovely.The vets explain everything and dont pressure you. They are very thorough.

Village Vets is the best vet service you could ever hope for ….
No matter what disasters befall my chocolate Labrador, the service, attention, kindness, devotion, dedication and expertise lavished upon her ( and me) know no bounds.
I can ALWAYS get an appointment when I need one.
I ALWAYS get the best possible advice.
I can ALWAYS get as many appointments as needed to follow up on treatment.
The vets are ALWAYS thinking of alternative therapies we can use.
The vet nurses are the most kind, knowledgeable and delightful team you could meet.
The receptionists are part of the vet family… so attentive to us when we arrive (particularly with the gray bones) , and all the calls they receive.
I use both Crosby and Formby.
In addition I can use Vidivet for free, and can send photos and updates on PetsApp.

AND… they go out of their way to help sort out insurance claims and keep costs down as much as possible.

Inexpensive and utter peace of mind… until the next Labrador adventure/disaster ..

The kind and caring vet, Helen, took a personal interest in my dog and treated her gently and with dignity. She explained what the condition was and carefully put forward options. She took time to talk and listen and to reassure my dog, who felt nervous.
The office staff were helpful and the nurse who passed through the waiting area was friendly.

This is only going to be the vets for you if you want clever, smart, kind and gentle care. Knowledge off the charts, state of the art equipment, exceptional value and staff that provide an individual approach not generic care- they literally understand my dogs personality and foibles and cater to her needs rather than copy and paste treatments. The ONLY place I would go after having animals for 40 years. Top tip: join the VIP CLUB and you will save a fortune. Absolute 5 star gold standard compassionate modern vet surgery.

Always welcoming and friendly. Lovely surgery and facilities. Consultations unrushed. Excellent veterinary care. Continuity of care .. able to see the same vet/s and nurse/s. Highly recommend.

Excellent from start to finish, Boo had quite a big operation and she was so well looked after. Follow up visits have made me feel confident and reassured. Highly recommend village vets to care for your pet.

Amazing service had emergency with my rabbit even though they where full they took him in,everyone helped out gave him the help and care he needed,even when he went back for a check up very gentle and careful with him

Most vets and ppl don’t understand our dog and his breeds characteristics, the confidence and reassuring nature of the vet who delt with our large breed dog was a breath of fresh air and a total pleasure to watch, past experience with different vets (in this surgery and others) have been a negative experience but this time was a lovely experience for us and our dog, grateful for vets who are committed and sincere to be with our family members
