I had the wrong item delivered while I was out of town so it was past 72 hours when I realized. I messaged the seller simply wanting to swap what I had for what I ordered and no response. I have no choice but to relist and since I have a less common shoe size, I’m probably out $600.

I am writing back because the courier has sent me a Singapore Customs GST invoice demanding payment for my returned item. This proves Vestiaire made a paperwork mistake. Your logistics team declared my own property as a standard commercial import instead of a 'Return of Personal Goods.' Because of this error, I am being wrongly taxed 9% GST on an item I already own. Because this is a mistake made by Vestiaire’s shipping department, I am weary of selling high-value items on your platform, which I’m selling at big loss and very tight margin already, if return paperwork errors result in hundreds of dollars in unfair tax bills.
Small adjustment by Vestiare would make a big difference.

Great as first time seller
This is my first time selling an item on Vestiaire colective. So far, everything went great. The delivery to the client was prompt and the client was please with the order.
I am a bit bothered by the fact that as a seller you are compelled to offer a price based on past transactions which I understand for the most part but other things have to be considered such as: the price of the item new at the store and the condition. Also, at some items they take their commission that takes out a big fraction of the price - as a seller, either you settle for less, or you accept their suggested price or you "inflate" the final price so you get what's right based on research. For my items I know what I'm talking about.
Please don't make a big deal about this, it is my opinion, you can take it into consideration and discurs it with your team further or ignore it. It's just bussiness, I will use your services as long as I need .
