From the initial conversation, I knew SmartHomes was the right surveyors to do the task.

Adam showed a genuine interest, provided thorough explanation of the nuances between the residential reports and provided a recommendation.

The Level 2 inspection was completed a week earlier than expected and the detailed report was completed within 3 Business Days.

From start to finish Joe was super helpful with everything, we got a level three report on a very old property was very important to us we had all the details and everything was looked at throughly. Smarthome surveys did a great job with our level 3 buildings survey. We are first time buyers and were looking at purchasing a doer-upper, but weren't sure of the level of work needed. The survey revealed extensive damp issues and the need for a new roof amongst other issues. Dan was very honest, thorough and generous with his time when we discussed this with him after we'd read his report.
The survey and excellent service was pivotal in us making the decision to walk away and save making a very expensive mistake.
Adam was also wonderful in answering my (many) questions and keeping us informed each step of the way. We will definitely be returning to them for any future possible purchases.

Professional, unbiased and objective assessment

I am not at all technical, but I managed to book the survey online and it was all arranged and done in less than a week. The survey was very thorough and I would certainly recommend Smart Home Surveys.

We used smart home surveys for a survey on a flat in a recently built (~2014) block. Alex picked up on various damp and ventilation issues and was extremely helpful and thorough when discussing the survey results with us and giving us advice on the next steps. Excellent service.
