Here are my onest review Vakilsearch. Overall, the service was good and the team completed the work successfully. Initially, they informed me the process would take around 2 months, but it ended up taking nearly 4 months. There was a delay, but in the end, the job was done properly. I appreciate their effort and final outcome, though the timeline could have been managed better.

After reading the reviews, I registered for their service and paid ₹399 for advice on an employment-related case. A consultation time was scheduled, but I waited on the call for 40 minutes with no response. Eventually, I disconnected and emailed them about the issue. I was assured it would be resolved.
The next day, the assigned lawyer called me without any prior scheduling, and I was unavailable at that moment. I returned the call about two hours later, but he did not answer. I then requested a refund. To avoid refunding, I was promised that the lawyer would call me within two hours—which he did.
I explained my case in detail, and the lawyer asked for documents, which I promptly shared via WhatsApp. After that, there was complete silence. Despite multiple follow-ups, there was no response.
When people approach lawyers, it is usually during stressful situations. Unfortunately, this experience only added to the distress. The lack of professionalism, follow-up, and accountability is disappointing. I have now completely dropped the idea of using this platform.

I engaged Vakilsearch to handle GST closure and compliance for my company. Despite repeated follow-ups over months, including multiple escalations (Ticket #5159070) and reaching out directly to Hrishikesh Datar (CEO), there has been no resolution, only empty promises.

Due to this continued inaction, I have now filed a formal complaint with the Consumer Grievance Forum (Docket #8377136).

Nobody is professional, be it my relationship manager Prakash Singh, the assigned to party - Mohammad Saif Rafi, or the escalation manager Hamilton or their CEO. All are incapable - plain and simple.

They just focus on getting money and will force you to register for unwanted services. I went to them to get GST, but they brainwashed me into registering as OPC PVT LTD. Now I have to pay more for many things, such as an auditor, and to close OPS I have to pay 20+k. They have purposely delayed service to get another year's renewal. My account is managed by many people, and in one year the promised tasks were not delivered. I keep getting responses saying that's not in the package, even though it was promised by the first person in the email.

I paid them 70K on 3 Dec. 2025 to get help in filing a petition in the civil court. Today is 20 Dec. I have got only promises to have a call with some qualified advocate. The RM is completely non-responsive. Doesn't take my calls. Doesn't call back. No one takes any responsibility in the organisation. I feel trapped. Since they don't seem to be able to help me, today I requested them for a refund. Let's see how soon the refund gets actioned. From the reviews I read on Reddit, the path looks extremely difficult for me.

I've had the worst experience with them. I got so many GST fines cuz of their inefficiency and unresponsiveness.

Most of the reviews here are fake. Before paying them a single rupee just see what Reddit says.

My experience with Vakilsearch has been nothing short of terrible. Even after they themselves promised that all my concerns would be resolved if I contacted their escalation number 9176998114, there was absolutely no proper response. Instead of helping, they continued to ignore my calls and offered no solution at all.

The behaviour of the Head of Escalation was shockingly unprofessional and arrogant. Calls were disconnected in the middle of conversations, and there was zero intention to listen or support. Their attitude clearly reflects a complete lack of responsibility and respect for customers.

Overall, Vakilsearch has provided very pathetic service, full of false commitments, no follow-up, and unacceptable behaviour from senior staff.

Excellent service

For any business that changes its brand name is clear red-flag for the trust and quality. From VakilSearch to Zolvit it was long coming. I've been a long-time loyal customer of VakilSearch & I believe in giving 2nd chance. But every time I deal with Zolvit (VakilSearch) it's pain in the neck, it's frustrating and I wish why initiated this service request in the first place!
Their portal is full of information but gives no clue as to what service and compliance I am currently working on, whether it's an upselling its services or is it actully I am subscribed to.
There are many automated false notifications. For example it keeps on coming even after that task is done - makes customers worried about whether it's actually done or still pending.
Lack of internal communication. & No prompt communication with clients whatsoever. I rarely received any direct replies to my queries.
With 6+ years using their service, there's never a customer feedback call, no public facing personality on twitter, product manager or CEO.

I don't how and when they will improve. They have my contact no. and I asked them to get a constructive feedback from their customers, ignored, avoided. Their staff keep on changing. It's grand chaos in the business that they need to address ASAP.

It was really a good experience working with Zolvit for the registration of my company. Sanjana from Zolvit has really helped me in getting the approval from MCA. Thanks for her and Zolvit for their professional support.
