Love the massage chair

Love the massage chair. Very comfortable and relaxing. The guys had a lot of knowledge and they delivered the chair in just 4 days. The delivery team was helpful and explained the modes and installed it with ease. Recommend to everyone

BE WARNED

I have been looking at some of V-Revives products online for a while now, but really wanted to be able to see and try the products before making such a big purchase.

I contacted V-Revive asking if there was anywhere local i could do this, and they told me they were opening a store at Westfield Riccarton in the first week of April.

On April 16th, I went to Westfield Riccarton to have a look at V-Revive and their products.
After searching the entire mall with their shop nowhere to be seen, despite Google saying it's open and there being reviews from people saying they had made purchases specifically at Westfield Riccarton three weeks ago, I contacted V-Revive again to be told they would be opening the Westfield Riccarton store on April 28th (so how do they already have reviews?!)

Today, April 22nd, I decided to ring them again and ask about the Westfield Riccarton store, only to now be told that they open 1st May.

I am now very dubious about making a purchase from this company, especially after seeing some of their other reviews.

I will also be in contact with Westfield Riccarton to see what they say

Thank you for your feedback, and we’re really sorry for the confusion and inconvenience caused. To clarify, our V-Revive store has been located at Westfield Riccarton for a while now. However due to the great response, it’s currently undergoing a major fit-out and renovation to improve your in-store experience. The renovation was originally expected to be completed by April 15th, but due to unforeseen delays, we’re now reopening on May 2nd.

We completely understand your desire to try the products in person before making a big purchase, and we truly hope you’ll visit us once the store is reopened.

That said, we feel a one-star review might not fairly reflect the situation, as we’re doing our best to communicate and manage the store update. We hope to see you in-store soon and would love the chance to change your mind.

I wish I could give less than a 1 star…

I wish I could give less than a 1 star review! This company needs to be held accountable.
I myself didn't make a purchase, but my Dad did. Bought two items at the Home Show in Christchurch in October 2024. Paid in full upfront, with 1 item arriving a few weeks later but no sign of the second item.
He made many phone calls and emails, which were either ignored, told there had been shipping delays, or even that it is on it's way.
Two months later, and still nothing.
This is where I came on board on behalf of Dad.
I too, made many phone calls, where I was given the same answers.
Eventually, Dad received an item, albeit a completely different branded item (not V-Revive), they told us Aramex mixed up the orders and they would email me a courier label to send the item back to them.
When I got the courier label, it was addressed to a lady in Nelson and included her phone number (breach of privacy right there!) Thankfully I got in contact with her before sending the item, only to find out that it also was NOT what she was awaiting. Contacted V-Revive again and they eventually said they would send me another courier label to send it back to them. I never received this.
Finally, on January 30th 2025, Dad received his second item. Upon looking through online reviews of V-Revive I found another bad review, and I got in contact with this person also.
She had also had another person get in contact with her who had also had a bad experience with V-Revive.
The four of us now remain in contact and keep updated about our dealings with V-Revive.
Trust me when I say this is me keeping my review brief! I would NOT recommend this company to anyone EVER!

The information in my review is accurate!
1. There was most definitely nothing prompt about your acknowledgement or correcting the issues. There were most definitely "widespread issues". I'm not saying they all happened at one time, but all it takes is to look through your Google reviews to see them!
2. At no point did I say Dad didn't receive both of the items he ordered.
I did not continue to demand additional products from you.
You offered Dad a $100 store credit for the troubles.
When we came to the Home Show again in March 2025, I asked if you would give us a Massage Gun (on special for $150) instead of the store credit, especially as you told us there wasn't anything we could get for the $100.
You told me we would have to pay the additional $50 for the Massage Gun and I told you there was absolutely no way you were getting another cent from us after the dealings we had already had.
You wouldn't change your mind, so we left.
A very short time later, you called me, and said we could either keep the Homedics Massage Cushion or we could come and get a Massage Gun.
We came back and got the Massage Gun and you told me you would be in touch and arrange to pick up the Massage Cushion.
So, going by your response, we got a "COMPLIMENTARY" back massager, and a "FREE" massage gun, so Dad's store credit must still be available to him should he ever choose to use it...?!
3. Do you ever accept responsibility for anything, or is it just always someone elses fault?!

This is by far not a false claim, nor is there any misinformation and your team has not gone above and beyond. If that was the case, we wouldn't have had to keep chasing you to try and find out where the items were or what was going on for THREE MONTHS!

Be warned!

I ordered a foot/leg massager and a portable massage cushion - bought and paid for online in January. This was the beginning of a terrible experience. The V-revive team gave repeated false promises with no products delivered. They sent photos of false tracking labels and still no delivery. Eventually, I received the leg massager but was not the Zone Ultra as advertised but a different make. The story continued with endless phone calls, e-mails and messages regarding the massage cushion. I was told many lies saying it was on its way but it never did arrive. I was, understandably, very angry - after some heated conversations, I got my money refunded. They promised a complimentary massage gun as compensation but, of course, it hasn't arrived! I cannot recommend this company due to the lies, false promises and terrible customer service. Spend your money elsewhere.

After trying massage chairs from so many companies, I finally chose a V Revive chair—and I couldn’t be happier with my decision! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the chair came with some amazing deals. What really sold me was the comfort level—it’s exceptionally cozy and super easy to use. While the price was a bit on the higher side, I believe it’s totally worth it for such a high-end chair. The entire process, from purchase to delivery, was smooth and hassle-free. The delivery team was very careful and made sure everything was set up perfectly. Highly recommend!

Very good products
And even better service. The massage chairs are soo good for anyone who constantly craves massage. Although the massage guns seem to do their job just fine a big relief to all me shoulder and back pain.

What drew me to Sunny's business were the reviews.
I found him honest, reliable with integrity.
Everything he said he would do, he did.
He guarantees and services his chairs which is important to me.
He is passionate and does not come on with a hard sell.
He went the extra mile for us and we are very happy to own one of his chairs.

We purchased a Sasaki massage chair…

We purchased a Sasaki massage chair just over a year ago and it has broken down five times with up to a month wait to get fixed each time. We were told not to go on it for longer than 20 minutes each time up to a maximum of twice a day and that if we weren't happy we could pay extra and get an upgrade. This was not pointed out to us at time of purchase. Disappointed after investing $7500.00. It has been anything but a relaxing experience. Just broken down again and still waiting to hear back. The service people are friendly but the product has not preformed.
Reply to your reply - Yes we did use the chair for longer periods until it was brought to our attention by your representatives at the first repair and we also express that this was not mentioned at the purchase time to only use the chair for 20 minutes at a time twice a day and also not the case with other chairs on the market for a similar price. We then adhered to your instruction and still had issues. I do not agree that we use the chair aggressively as you state in your reply. We have lodged another enquiry as the chair is not working properly again and have not heard back from you. In both instances it could have caused injury. The statement of sleeping on the chair is only for a maximum of 30 minutes because it automatically turns off as I am sure you are aware. 3/We are still waiting for repair over 2 months since we brought it to your attention - apparently the chair is an obsolete model. We are not disputing the fact of how the chair was damaged but need it repaired. We were not informed that there are no service agents in our area and that there is such a long wait to find out a price for parts (over 2 months). We are concerned now that the chair is obsolete will parts be available in the future due to the number of issues we have had.

It has come to our attention that you purchased the Sasaki chair over 18 months ago, and it has experienced three breakdowns during this time. However, we want to clarify that each time our team has promptly attended to the issue and made necessary repairs. It's important to note that massage chairs are designed for intermittent use, typically not exceeding 2 hours at a stretch.

We've noticed a pattern where your usage of the chair exceeds recommended guidelines. Both your daughter and husband have mentioned instances where you've utilized the chair for extended periods, even sleeping in it.

During the first visit by our tech team, they advised you to use the chair in moderation and to allow it to rest after every two sessions. On the second visit, your daughter reported that you were using the chair for over an hour per session, leading to overheating issues. Nonetheless, we still carried out the necessary repairs.

Unfortunately, despite our interventions, the chair experienced a third malfunction due to aggressive and improper usage. We have repeatedly emphasized the importance of using the chair correctly. Like any electronic device, the chair requires proper handling to prevent recurring issues.

We urge you to adhere to the recommended usage guidelines to prevent further breakdowns. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the proper usage of the chair, please don't hesitate to contact us.

1. Massage chairs are programmed to shut off after each session, typically set to a default time for every massage. It's common for people to doze off while using the chair, but prolonged usage, especially for a couple of hours, can be detrimental both to the chair itself and to your body.

2. We've noticed your additional request for a chair check-up due to a new issue you're facing. Rest assured, we've scheduled a technician to revisit your location and address any concerns you may have regarding the chair.

Once again, we sent our technician to your premises to inspect the issue. The technician discovered that the chair was damaged due to water exposure, with both the fabric and motor found to be wet. Our technician showed you the presence of water and explained the extent of the damage. Despite this, our technician managed to make some repairs by replacing a few available parts. However, we informed you that the main motherboard and motor components cannot be repaired and will require replacement. As you correctly noted, we upgraded the chair and introduced the latest versions two months ago, so it will take some time to manufacture the necessary components.

Please note that water damage typically voids the warranty, but our company is still trying to assist you in this situation.

I met raman at the chartwell shopping centre as i was looking to get a massage chair for my dad. he made me try the latest chair that had just arrived the morning star.The Morning Star massage chair exceeded my expectations with its rejuvenating features and superior comfort. The impeccable service provided by the company made the entire experience seamless. From prompt delivery to excellent customer support, they truly prioritize customer satisfaction. A perfect blend of luxury and service, making it an outstanding choice. i tried multiple places before making the pucrchase in auckland and tauranga but i found the best one in hamilton from V Reviv

I always wanted a massage chair for my house as my wife loves massage. We tried one of their chairs at the Home and garden show and it was such an amazing experience. the salespeople knew the product i love the foot massage of the chair that we got. when you make a big purchase what you look for is after sales service and they have always stood up to our expectation i am really satisfied with V Reviv.
