UniFab is a good product.
I mainly use the converter which gives good results.
But there are several bugs.
First of all, why offer MP4 by default when the most common standard is MKV.
And with MKV the subtitles are by default embedded on the video (it's stupid).
Also, there are some instabilities when changing the settings.

Good starter deal, Bad Customer Retention
Purchasing UniFab licenses for the first time might seem like a good deal initially. However, be aware that as an existing customer, you will likely end up paying significantly more over time compared to new users.
I contacted customer support about the large price imbalance between new and existing users. Despite having already spent nearly $300 on their products, I was asked to pay almost full price (only a $20 discount offered) just to add four missing features, whereas a new user could buy the complete suite for considerably less.
The customer support agent deflected my concerns rather than addressing them directly. I requested to close the ticket as it became clear there was no room for negotiation. While they did close the ticket promptly, they did so without grace—no apology for the poor experience, no acknowledgment or thanks for my loyalty, and no genuine request for feedback.
Furthermore, the feedback form conveniently failed to submit, further reinforcing the impression that UniFab does not prioritize customer satisfaction, especially for loyal, existing users.
Please exercise caution when spending your money here.
