Video Upscaler AI / HDR Upconverter AI:
There are few options for customizing the quality.
(There are now far more options than others programs!)
Video Colorizer AI:
Unfortunately, it isn't realistic; the colors are off, and within a single scene, a given outfit appears in multiple colors, etc.
(Other programs produce much better results.)
Subtitle Generator AI:
Even when based on clear dialogue, it cannot produce accurate text (English, Italian, French, German, etc., the main supported languages).
It's formatting and timing are also inaccurate.
I use the translation feature for Hungarian, which is unfortunately terrible, but this stems from the difficulty of the language itself. :D
I'm sure you'll improve a lot over time, and we'll see better results!

Great Software
I have a lot of movies copied out to a plex server. This software has been great. I have started upgrading them to 1080p. I have a powerful PC with lots of RAM but it still takes 3-4 hours to process a single movie. That’s the only issue I have with the software.

I've only been using Unifab a few weeks…
I've only been using Unifab a few weeks and it's been a little frustrating. It does take an eternity to process your videos, even on my Ryzen 9 laptop, and I wouldn't say the results were that impressive so far. Out of 3 videos I have attempted to upscale, have simply vanished when supposedly completed. The task list shows 3 tasks finished, but clicking on the container folder, shows an empty folder. More annoying than that is, that initially I had to authorise the installation every time I wanted to use it, very frustrating, I also wasn't 100% sure what was included in the DVDFAB package I'd purchased, because clicking on "Convert" in the menu, took me to the website to download Unifab, but it was listed as free. Back in the DVDFAB menu, it constantly had "Buy" at the top, and on occasion the programme would tell me I was using an evaluation copy and I only had 3 uses before I had to purchase. This eventually seemed to sort itself out after a couple of days, and I'm no longer being nagged to purchase. Local conversions seem to be decent, even if it does take around 3 days to complete, but online Ai conversion failed straight away. I put this down to the website itself. Im unsure about the 3D conversation also, I have an LG3D TV, and a Pico 4 ultra, the results turned out with the wrong aspect ratio, probably my fault as I'm a new user, but another 3D conversion produced a clear output, but the main, front field appeared to be in the background, and the background in the front, inverted fields. Think I need to try on short clips before advancing onto full movies. My first Ai, local upscale, removed interlacing, causing an unwatchable result, annoying after waiting 3 days.
Update: 18-05-26 got a reply back from support, wanted logs, short videos and some other details about my PC. Still waiting, but considering using VisionDepth3D, which is free.
Every time I attempt to use online Ai upscaling I get an error message after a few seconds. You need credit to use this feature, it's meant to move the required resources to the cloud, for quicker processes, but not for me. I used the same feature the following day and was told that there was a limit to the size of file I could upload p, and to download the desktop client instead. So back to square one. You need credits, which you can purchase, or earn from your purchases, I started off with 330, I've now got 300 with nothing to show for it.

Regarding the processing speed, could you please let us know what graphics card your laptop is using? AI video processing relies heavily on GPU acceleration. In general, AMD GPUs may process slower than NVIDIA GPUs because current AI model optimisation and compatibility are usually better on NVIDIA hardware.
About the DVDFab and UniFab license issue: DVDFab and UniFab are two separate clients, and their licenses are not interchangeable. Therefore, if you have not purchased UniFab, it is normal for UniFab to show as a trial version. However, the Video Converter module is free to use.
As for the issue where the task shows completed but the output folder is empty, this needs further investigation. It may be related to the output path, permissions, task failure, or other processing errors.
To help us check this properly, please send us:
1. Your UniFab log files
2. A screenshot of the failed tasks
3. One short sample clip (if possible)
4. Your system/GPU information.

The program does what it's supposed to; I'm using the 4K video upscaling feature and the results are great. The UI is a bit confusing and complicated, but you'll get used to it.

Outstanding product
Outstanding product! Video Up-Scaler AI was was able to rescue my old, low-res videos from the limited recording technology of the past. Watching them is no longer a nostalgic trip through archived 50 year old videos transferred from VHS to MP4. They are beautiful!

I paid for the service after using the trial version. After that I couldnt get it to work.. its very confusing it was telling e I had 3000 credits yet it was trial version. I wasnt able to use it 1 time . I decided to cancel my subscription as I am permitted if its less than 14 days. They make it impossible to cancel They give clear instructions so it seems like its possible but it is not. As far as Im concerned this is a scam company. I suggest do not pay for any services before calling customer service to see if they actually can help you with issues. No customer service, DO NOT PAY because when it comes time to cancel, they make it impossible.. Now if you want to add on services, easy as pie. DO NOT BUY. YOUVE BEEN WARNED.
