Poor Accuracy
If I was giving a review on Customer Service it would be 5 star, however my TruTrak Gat23 has rarely worked properly since purchase.
I initially notified Trutrak that it was showing my bike parked on a parallel street some 500+ metres away from its actual location. Service was excellent, and after trying some remote work, I returned the GAT23 for checking. Trutrak replaced it with a wrong tracker (GAT24) but then rectified their mistake at no cost to me.
New tracker arrived and I decided to put the Trutrak in one of my cars and bought another tracker from another company to fit in the bike.
Despite not moving the car, the Trutrak is now showing that my car is parked in the garden of a house in a parallel street, again some distance away. The 'other company' tracker in the bike is still accurate to within 2 metres, and the 'other company' tracker in my second car (parked next to the Trutrak equipped Car) is accurate within 1 metre.
As a result I have ordered a third tracker from the 'other company' and will not be renewing my subscription for my Trutrak. It is a shame, as I would rather support a UK company with excellent service, over the German one I am now using.
A close call between 4 & 5 stars
I've just fitted a TruTrak Pro FMT200 4G to my motorhome, along with a 36-month subscription; it replaces a soon-to-be-obsolete stand-alone 3G/SMS tracker and self-supplied SIM card. The TruTrak was easy to fit to the leisure battery and works well, subject to mobile signal as with all such devices. The cost over the three years is very reasonable, being similar to my old stand-alone tracker, with the benefit that I no longer have to remember to top-up the old PAYG SIM card. The app and web site for managing it are clunky but serviceable, though the user-guide and online help videos lack any description of what physical events trigger each alert, leading to uncertainty. The set of alerts available appears to be variable, controlled by TruTrak based on some undisclosed logic that omitted a significant one for my case; again, there is no description given to explain the effect of any of the initial setup options which might have avoided this - I only really wanted the one which told me that it was moving when I didn't expect it to. However, their customer services were very responsive and helpful, and quickly added the missing ones that I needed. Overall I'm pleased with my purchase but they came close to losing a star for inadequate user documentation.
Quick simple connection to car and fast account setup.
I have fitted the TruTrak module to my car, a very simple installation (2 wires direct to the main battery) which took less than 20 minutes. The initial setup was quick and confirmation on a laptop and mobile phone app that all is working well. The reports and alerts are easily set up and very accurate as one would expect. I have tested a number of email alerts and warnings, for example power loss last location, and received an email within a minute alerting me. The after sales service is second to none and any query is responded to very quickly. The staff are very friendly and helpful and I will be recommending this company and device to my family and friends. Excellent work well done all at TruTrak.

Very impressed so far with this product. Very easy set up via QR codes and the app. The product looks very sturdy with 4 decent sized magnets to hold it and although it's not in situ at present, it works fine giving details of location, timings etc. Also, got a courtesy call from the company the day after asking if everything was ok which I was very impressed with.
I would not recommend buying Trutrak…
I would not recommend buying Trutrak products as they are considered "self monitored items" - so if Trutrak block your account, they expect you to know about it and contact them. They dont do anything proactive and their customer service is terrible. spoke to a manager today and found her to be plain rude.

Tracker not accurate
Tracker not accurate. I went to work and got loads of witnesses where i was after clocking in but the tracker showed tht I was across the single carriage road from my work place instead n my partner accused me of having a affair. Relationship ruined cos he believed wot the tracker said. so thanks alot.

Customer Service is very good, very responsive and always willing to help. There’s multiple options of devices, wired, waterproof, battery. Also multiple subscription packages too. Process is relatively straightforward. Basically order, connect, 14 day free trial begins, top up your preferred time period and forget it. PayPal option does not work so that needs sorting. Just goes round and round in a circle. Some devices track at 30 seconds, but is set at a standard 1 minute track. Plenty of cable from device to connect to battery in order to hide it. My brother has a waterproof version and I have an internal version. I’ll be getting my son one for his when he gets his car shortly. Only 1 experience of update lag on one device so far in a known signal trouble spot, but catches up when better signal available. I recommend these guys if you are looking get a very reasonably priced tracker unit and long term subscription
How about going metric?
In principle the FMT100 tracker works fine, but come on guys, the world is more than just the UK. How about having an option to get reports etc. in metric, so km/h instead of only mph?

Superb products and excellent customer service! I have four tracking devices and each works brilliantly. I had to contact customer service recently and they are brilliant to say the least. Very efficient, incredibly helpful, and very friendly. I can highly recommend the procts, service, and company 100%.

Good customer service - terrible tracker
Tracker arrived on time, unfortunately there was a problem with setup but it was sorted quickly with help of customer service. I was told that tracker will be updated remotely and it was working fine until update was finished. After that (2 days tracker was working absolutely fine - not the best tracker but decent one) gps signal went gone and I was told that tracker is faulty and needs to be replaced. rather unfortunate as I need it for Christmas time and send the tracker back and get a new one would take 10 days. Obviously I would have to pay for postage even though company admit that item was faulty.

Absolutely rubbish don’t waste your time, the trackers only work sometimes and if they do they will be frozen at a location for hours. They’re answer for everything is latency or network issues and when you point out this is a constant issue that keeps happening they say to send the devices back to test. Not realising it costs money everytime I have to get someone to remove and refit a tracker. Rude and useless customer support. They open a support ticket and close it straight away as they can’t be bothered to deal with the issue at hand. Spoken to ‘support’ on the last occasion and I’ve given up will go to a more reliable company. Not to mention one of the trackers I ordered didn’t even have a SIM card inside! So I had to order another one and pay for fitting twice. STAY WELL AWAY

In most terms you get what you pay for but this device and brand is better than more expensive items and services.

Customer Service
I have a bottom of the range unit fitted my caravan and it works perfectly and has done for over a year. I have had one or two questions over that period of time and needed to contact Customer Services, this can be done by " submitting a ticket "on the app or website. These people are extremely quick to respond and usually by phone. An excellent company with outstanding Customer Service

I cannot praise this company enough. I purchased a budget tracking device for my car from Amazon. I was attracted to it as I could fit it myself and the ongoing costs after purchase of the unit are very reasonable.
To my amazement the morning after fitting to my car and registering my details I recieved a welcome phone call to make sure I did not have any issues and to reassure me that the company was there to help if needed.
I live in a poor reception area for phone signals and was impressed that the unit had registered an accurate position for the vehicle.
Being very interested in fully understanding how the device keeps their system up to date and allows you to perform various enquiries online I contacted their Customer Service staff and have been thoroughly looked after with their staff ensuring they have fully understood my needs and have been proactive in making sure the sytem works for me.
Buy with confidence, great price, great online tracking information, the very best staff.
Newer caravan, new "Tracker" unit
I had just changed my caravan, the old one had a working "Tracker" in it, but the new one appeared to have nothing, or at worst one where the battery expired after 5 years at £a lot. So the research started. I tend to read the one and two star reviews before I buy but there was nothing untoward for TruTrack so I plumped for a wired in model for £notalot with a subscription level equal to the tracker. I had some difficulties at first, mainly due to me not really understanding how trackers worked. It got moved a couple of times due to a poor signal, and finished up wired in behind a panel. First trip out left it half way to my destination, then on the way back it regained a fix but stopped twenty miles from home. I changed the spade terminals for soldered terminals and a 2 inch move on my drive restored connection and location accuracy. Throughout, I have had excellent support from Caitlin Peck and Shannon Macken at TruTrack, who both answered my questions promptly and with clear explanations, I cannot praise them and the company enough, so I would recommend TruTrack units to anyone who needs them.

Before i buy anything i check out reviews to see what product feedback is like off owners and the feedback reviews where very positive.
I had some specific questions i sent into TruTrak before i decided on the purchase, they answered quickly and concisely to which i was very grateful. I purchased the Tracker down loaded the app all of which was easy ! the ONLY thing i would say is that the unit could report back a bit quicker its about every 40-60 seconds, but i guess that a my issue for being impatient! All good, don't hesitate to buy im thinking of buying another for my bike !
Reunited with stolen caravan thanks to Trutrak
Had a TruTrak on our caravan that was stolen but thanks to the traker we got the caravan back without it we are very sure we would never have seen the caravan again. The app is so easy to use we were able to follow our caravan down the motorway and alert the police who managed to retrieve it for us. We were also able to provide the police with a detailed log with times and locations of where the caravan had been. The online and telephone support is also second to none, friendly staff answer your questions and are always happy to help.
