I purchased a non tracking tracker.

I was pleased to find a tracking device that seemingly worked the way I wanted so purchased.
Unfortunately what was delivered was some sort of generic tracker which looked rather cheap and didn't actually track the car it was in.
I had set it up at home and the app logged the location correctly.
However after taking a trip some 90 miles away the app still showed the device still at home.
Anyway sent the device back to get it checked and they supposedly upgraded it and returned it to me.
Unfortunately with the same results.
I wasn't prepared to mess about any longer so asked for a refund.
They were good at returning my purchase price and postage costs.
However they didn't seem to spend much time investigating why the product didn't perform as expected and just seemed happy to return my money and move on.
Anyway meta systems offered a similar working device called pulsar and for £100 more i got something that was far superior in overall design, documentation and performance. Classic case of you get what you paid for.

Thank you for your feedback. We’d like to clarify that the device you purchased was our GL50B model, which is not advertised as a live tracker. As stated in the product description, this device is designed to send one location update per day and then remain in sleep mode. This is why, after your 90-mile trip, the app still showed the last location at home, the tracker had not yet reached its scheduled reporting time.

In the event of a theft, the settings can be changed to update every minute to help with recovery. This design allows the GL50B’s internal battery to last up to 3 years at one report per day, whereas a constant live-tracking device would only last around 24 hours on battery. The benefit is that the unit remains very small, discreet, and easy to hide.
This isn’t a case of “you get what you pay for”, it’s simply a matter of product choice. The GL50B is optimised for long-term covert monitoring, not live tracking. For customers needing real-time tracking, we offer a full range of live trackers, available both directly from us and through Amazon.

Great product, easy setup, excellent support

This company offer a great product. Installation and set up is easy. The tracking app is excellent and offers all the facilities you could want - one of those apps that just works! On top of that, support is great - they reach out to you when you first install - not with an automated robot email, but an email from a real person - and want to make things as easy as possible for you. On top of that, I got a free tracker when I took out my subscription (which is great business on their part). Highly recommended.

Excellent customer service

I recieved my device and had a minor fault with the voltage readings. I contacted Trutrak via email and very quickly got a response from Jo. After a few emails and tests the unit was replaced with next day delivery and I am now back up and running.
Jo went above and beyond helping to rectify the situation, thanks again for all your help.

My original tracker stopped working so…

My original tracker stopped working so I contacted trutrak through the online chat and was dealt with by Shannon/caitlin/sarah who tried a few things while I was chatting with them after disconnecting power and doing full reboot tracker still didn't work so they transfered me to technical support.the support team emailed me and asked me to send tracker back for repair/replacement this I did and within two days of postage I had another email telling me a replacement was on its way. I received replacement and it's now fitted and back up running normal. I cannot thank the Trutrak team enough for their courtesy and their proffessionalism. They took excellent care of me and they did it with ease. I will be recomending them every chance I get. Once again THANK YOU Trutrak. George Bain.

We have been using TruTrak for around 5 years now. Brilliant service, tracks our fleet our cars brilliantly, but the best thing is the customer support. If you ask any question they are on it straight away. This is how to run a company !!! Thank you

I currently have 2 trutrak trackers and…

I currently have 2 trutrak trackers and have for a long time now, they are fantastic! You see everything in real time via the app and top up on website. Alerts, map, reports, everything you need and is definitely peace of mind. Easy to set up and easy to use. I had a small issue with one last year which had to be sent back and repaired, they organised sending and returning as quick as possible , no issues since with that one. They go above and beyond to help. Im currently having a minor issue with my tracker, Becky has again gone above and beyond, emailing even rang to have this resolved over the past week. The best customer services I have ever experienced, so professional and friendly. Any issues , is never an issue for them, they keep going until fully resolved and are very knowledgable. I highly recommend. Excellent company and fantastic staff! Thank you Becky :)

Fantastic customer service

I had an issue with my tracker that could not be fixed remotely despite the team trying to update the unit so they sent me a replacement very promptly and set it up on my account and everything worked brilliantly.

One of the best tracking service…

One of the best tracking service available in UK. We used manny trackers but TruTrak its one of the best. Good coverage and signal. Brilliant customer service. It helped us recover 2 stollen vans in a few hrs. I would recomend them any day !!!! Thank you TruTrak

Absolutely amazing customer service

For anyone who has a tracker on their vehicle I can highly recommend this company, the customer service I received from Maddie and her colleague was phenomenal and both advisors were exceptional. I needed important information for my insurance and they bent over backwards to ensure I received all the correct information and even when I had difficulty installing the app they were there to talk me through it.
I can't thank the two ladies enough, they are definitely a credit to this company and TruTruck are very lucky to have them, thank you so much for all your help ladies.

Brilliant device and support team

I bought my tracker from Tru track a couple of months ago but got a problem with it. I contacted the support team and within 12 hours I got a reply. On checking my device it seems like something was put in the boot over the top of the device and had switched it off. I then checked the app to see if it was tracking my car and everything was working. I like the way it alerts you when the vehicle leaves the geofence that I set up and then shows the route taken on each journey. This is a great piece of kit backed up by very good support staff eager to help. I would highly recommend. 👍

Great service from TruTrak's Caitlin

Great service from TruTrak's Caitlin.

Helped with diagnosing a technical issue on a tracker on a Sunday! As soon as she realised it was a likely to be permanent problem, I posted the unit back for checking and analysis.

Two days later the replacement unit arrived back with me. All the previous software configurations had been sorted in anticipation of simply connecting to the main power source.

As a really small business, I felt I was dealt with as if I had a massive fleet and was a platinum customer!

Well done Caitlin (and back office team).

What fantastic customer service ,@ first I was thinking where’s my product & I was fuming , then I realised that it was my mistake & I had put the incorrect address talk about red faced , well 3 trackers later & a fantastic Lady called Jo , I’m now up & running …..would highly recommend Trutrack

Fantastic Service Fantastic Company!
I have been using TruTrak since mid 2023 and the service has been Fantastic, I run a fleet of 25 vehicles and have been dealing with Jo since the beginning, she has been wonderful helping get the trackers up and running in the beginning and has helped out ever since if I have had any questions about the system. I would recommend to anyone. I had a Major manufacture's inbuilt tracking before and I moved to TruTrak and that was the best thing i did. Don't know how we managed before. We use the FM100 its great for when we sell and buy vehicles we can just swap across. Big Thank You :)

bad manored customer service call

All was going great with the tracker until i got a phone call, "agent - do you know you subscription ended 2 days ago", my response yes not had chance to top up, "agent do you know how to top up", my response yes it can be done online, "agent on call was like ok" and i was in process asking can it be done over phone, to then be disconnected half way through my question no good bye or anything just straight dropped the call when i said yes i know how to do it online, not very good customer service comes chasing for subscription then drops the call with no manors
