I am not sure your lawn experts are recognizing the GRUBS in my back yard area. I saw the signs of their beetles emerging and need to ensure the eggs they laid don't survive into worms and eat up any... See more

My lawn looks worst after several treatments with trugreen than before I hired them. More Weeds have come up & i have several bald spots. This is not a good lawn service company!

As a former customer and employee, I will tell you the company is absolutely horrible. Many changes in the C-Suite and none have been effective to date. They will set an expectation for employees to beat into the customers head and then the operations in the field will do whatever they want. A lack of consistent, adequate oversite is the largest issue and that is because they have become far to big and are not able to coalesce operational standards throughout the company. When you discuss issues with HR, you are told it is a very large ship to turn around and that acceptable change will take years to achieve.
they were told to call me the day before treatment. all is well, the Company went to great lengths in resolving my concerns. All were very concerned about my satisfaction with their service.

This is a follow up to yesterday's comments about poor Service from TruGreen. As you will see in yesterdays review I was promised that a manager would call yesterday. That didn't happen. When I called today I was told that a manager (Darrell) was assigned to call me but it was on his schedule for today not yesterday. I was also told that TruGreen doesn't apply seed and don't have the equipment to do that. Its their Policy. I guess its ok to lie to get the business and then present policy as a reason to not do what they promised. Stay tuned for an update to this review tomorrow.

Tru-green is not supposed to do anything to my backyard. I have dogs and kids and I don't want them playing in chemicals. Before I could get outside and stop them they got into the back yard and dumped a load of chemicals there. The chemical smell is overwhelming - even now, an hour later, it is still in my throat.
The last time they were supposed to fertilize. They drove off 3 minutes after getting here. I timed them. There was no fertilizer on the ground. I received no bill and found that they took it from my checking account without any authorization from me.
I have cancelled my account.

I truly can’t believe they are still in business!! Hired them thinking I can save some time over the season. I would love to test their product, I am convinced they are spraying water. My lawn never looked so bad last season when they took care of it. Nothing they put down is granular, It is all by spray. Actually had one of the guys that came out told me they ran out of their popular lawn weed killer (honest employee). He told me most of the facts I am stating so take it how you want. Then in order to keep his job he sprayed my yard anyway, clearly just water. Use someone local you can trust, PLEASE. All they want is a contract with a payment method.
TruGreen was not worth the money or the headache. They didn't do a very thorough job and the guy would only spend a minute or two, walking the yard and leaving unless my husband or I followed them around. I complained and cancelled my account last year during the season but here I am in April of this year, finding out someone just serviced my yard and they want to charge me $75. I called them again to cancel and they would not take NO for an answer. They pestered me for 15 minutes while I'm at work, trying to convince me to stick around. This is what people hate about customer service and subscriptions. I hate feeling like my words and choices aren't respected. I would never recommend them to anyone.
Brian, Mark and David have just laid our artificial lawn which looks absolutely wonderful. These three gentlemen arrived today on time, did an excellent job, quickly and efficiently and we are absolutely thrilled with the result. They were polite and courteous and a joy to have in our home.Thank You very much. Keith and Trish Foster.
I would rather be a dirt farmer than trust TruGreen to handle my lawn care. Their business practices are very concerning. Judging by their current 1.5 rating, I must not be alone with this experience.
My service with Tamara was absolutely amazing, she took the time to ask if I need anything that’s the first person I have had that made sure the area was treated well. 10 stars for her
This company's tech treated our yard instead of our neighbor's yard. I called twice last week, trying to find out what was applied to our grass. I was trying to avoid burning it up with too many chemicals or letting my cats eat grass with pesticides. Twice I was told someone would get back to me. That never happened. I finally found out from the neighbor who had paid for the service that it was fertilizer, although the tech put down a pesticide sign. They never disclosed to our neighbor that they didn't receive the service. Had I not watched the videos, I would not have known. BTW, he missed large areas, so now we have to watch the videos to determine where to apply fertilizer and where to avoid application. This company had zero concern for either one of us. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for service
I canceled my service with TruGreen and you wouldn't believe the crap I had to go through to get this done. I had to talk to several different people to have my service canceled. THIS IS NOT THE COMPANY YOU WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL!
I cancelled Trugreen LAST year because they would show up, plant the flag, leave a service statement.NEVER did the application.
I have cameras all around my property.
They showed up THIS year to do the application when I have no contract with Trugreen. Called the "local" phone number and spoke with a representative from Trinadad. So much for being local.
Trugreen never comes when they say they will. I keep my dog kenneled for the day and the gate unlocked and they never come. All day I get notifications that they are coming, but they delay, day after day. They will lie and say they can’t treat due to weather (perfect weather) or a locked gate.
When they do finally come, they only treat part of the yard. They will do the whole front yard, but the backyard is barely touched. I have cameras and I see them skip 80 percent of the back yard while fully treating the front. This has happened at least 50 percent of the time over the past few years of service.
You cannot. I mean cannot get anyone local on the phone. There is no way to contact the local office and that’s how they like it. They don’t want to talk to us and address the problems. I hate that. I want to be able to call a local office and discuss my issues and share videos of skipped back yard.
Overall, the front yard does look good. And that’s why I have kept them. But I have to call multiple times during the year to complain about inadequate treatment for the back yard. Calling to some nationwide line is a nightmare and there is no personalized service. They may give me a discount on future service or something. But really I just want the service done right the first time!!!!
Trugreen Memphis needs a direct line that we can text or call to address concerns. They need to come when they say they will! If you’re not coming, don’t tell me you are. It’s a terrible inconvenience for my family.
Who is the manager here? Don’t you care about talking to your customers????
Not speaking as a customer, from experience through a family member, this is one of the most worst places to work for. Employees are treated like trash, total disrespect and management creates an uncomfortable environment to be. New unfair and to be honest, unconstitutional rules have been created against the employees that go as far as not allowing anyone to even use the bathroom no matter if an employee has health issues or pregnant. The Melbourne Florida location needs to remove all these people in charge with more qualified managers.
A lady called to reschedule my appointment back in June 2024 I explained to to cancel to next year my funds were low. They rushed a tech out. Then I see someone spraying again inauguration I didn't ask for. Then several phone calls. Because they want $298.00. Then Jeff calls and tries to negotiate what I cancel over the phone. Now Trugreen wants $298..makes no sense.
Failed in every respect. Never made appointment as promised, just arrived without any notice. Sprayed yard in heavy rain, then told us "Keep pets off yard until it dries." It rained all day. No one came to do analysis, etc. First treatment was supposed to be weed and fertilizer but tech said it was pest control. Complete waste of money. BTW, reviews for our town are universally negative.

I had an interview at 9:30 and no one came to the door. Kristina the recruiter didn’t answer the nor did Tammy. Very bad for business and Kristina had the nerves to tell me that she hate that it didn’t work out!! I drove 48 min to get there and that’s all she had to say!! Very unprofessional
What made my experience great.... well, CeCe.. based in Indiana, she was awesome.. very kind, listen to my question and then knocked it out of the ballpark.. so happy and grateful to talk to professionals that listen... Trugreen, thank you for the services you provide to my lawn! CeCe, thank you as well!
