Update, Triton have issued a refund as unable to track my item, so very good customercservice

placed the order on line for an item that was said to be in stock , payment was returned with out saying why also no phone call to say the same , normaly no problems with triton , saying that is was not a really a problem but a call would have been nice ,

When my bottom bracket failed, I looked to Triton to help. I purchased the Praxis Works T47 BB and tool, both showing as in stock. This was Monday (Day 0). I immediately got an email confirmation with a delivery window (free delivery) of between Day 2 and Day 8. I had 7 days till I was going on holiday with my bike, so I had time. I chase up on Day 3 when I have had no more comms. The staff reassured me that the item had come in and was shipped on Day 3. 1-2 days for delivery would still leave me time. In the online system my order is showing as dispatched (despite still being 'In Picking') so I felt a little reassured. The warning sign of no tracking details was there, but I gave Triton the benefit of the doubt. Day 4,5,6,7 nothing. I end up going on holiday without my best bike (thankfully, I have a spare). Day 14, I arrive home to a note from Royal Mail. I pop round to my neighbours to pick up the parcel... It's a parcel for my wife! No comms, no BB!! I call up Triton, the staff say they will look into it and call me back. No call. Day 15 I call up again and ask for an update. Apparently the warehouse don't have the tool! I immediately cancel the order. I won't be fooled again by their competitive pricing and low cut-off for free delivery. The staff have been great, but the general comms from the website/email/warehouse/order updates have been the worst I have ever experienced for something showing as in-stock in the first place!!
