As with most of the complaints here it is about expectations of delivery. Maybe we have been spoilt by Amazon efficiency but ordered shoes Monday for Thursday delivery. Website ways they were dispatched Thursday but still no sign or notification.
Managed to find the tracking number belongs to DPD, it was at 't' hub' yesterday morning so maybe arrive today.
Don't use if time is of the essence

Had it stated that they use Evri for their deliveries I would have looked elsewhere. Standard despatch is slow too. Need to do better.

Ordered a rear mounted child seat for a great price with a 2-3 working day despatch time. I ordered late Thursday night and it was despatched the following wednesday and arrived thursday so reasonable.

ordered tyres for my e-bike based on the premise that the dispatch is 1-2 dispatch. It has been more than a week and although I tried to reach out and was assured that the tyres will be dispatched, no sign of tyres. I explained that my bike is my main transport but obviously the 1-2 days dispatch is false advertising.

DO NOT USE THEM - if your transport depends on receiving your order in time.

Excellent price, dispatched the next day and received the day after that. Very quick and efficient, none of the issues others seem to be experience. Though I did only order a bottle, so that might have been something to do with it.

Delivery seems to be a key issue. Ignore what it says on the website 1-2 days dispatch is not accurate. Day 6 and still no confirmation of dispatch.

A quick scan on here suggests this is not an isolated issue.

Great product but then I am buying Schwalbe, as for Fawkes.. Shocking delivery in this day and age! There is no excuse for over 3 working days, let alone 5

Great customer service and fast delivery. I purchased a new drivetrain groupset from Fawkes over the weekend, I made an error in one of my selections when I placed the order, so I sent them an email. They replied first thing on Monday and had fixed the error I made, and updated it with my request. The products were delivered on Thursday that week by DPD. I have been very pleased with the service and would happily order from Fawkes again.

Ordered a group set on the 18th, had an email on the 19th saying there was a delay due to the chain being out of stock, with an estimated due date and that should be shipped on the Thursday; this wasn't ideal as we had the bank holiday coming up. Got the dispatch email Thursday and had the group set Friday.

Nice and upfront about the delay and got it sent out promptly once the issue was sorted.

Ordered some grips over a week ago, order not yet processed. Shown as in stock when ordered. Phoned yesterday and was told they were unexpectedly out of stock, but would be in today and sent out straight away. Nope.

Guess what? Still shown as in stock now should you want to (not) buy some. What a surprise.

Ordered on a Saturday, asked the following Friday where it was. Because it was a bank holiday it was delayed. Finally got it the following Tuesday.

10 days for delivery, I get better from Alibaba.

Needed a new tire urgently so I could go on a bike holiday. They delivered in two days – excellent service - I cannot recommend them highly enough.

This company is a disgrace. I rang to order a tyre and was assured it would arrive the next day. When I called back for an update, I was met by the most vile, rude, and aggressive woman I have ever dealt with. She shouted over me, constantly interrupted, and completely lost control when I simply questioned why I had been promised something that clearly wasn’t true. She then hung up on me.

When I tried to ring back, they refused to answer and then blocked my number. To make matters worse, I later got an email saying my order had been cancelled without my consent.

This behaviour is unprofessional, unacceptable, and downright insulting. No customer should ever be treated like this. I strongly advise avoiding this company at all costs.

Slow to send stuff out. It's a bit disappointing. I don't mind delays of two days to dispatch, but four days later, still waiting for dispatch.

As many other reviews have pointed out, the dispatch delays are an issue for this company.
They are an online only retailer and I would expect items purchased to be dispatched same day or next day. The website states 1-2 business days. This is not the case. There is no communication either to indicate any delays or expected timeframes. I ended up cancelling and purchasing from another company that send purchases out promptly.

I prefer to support local cycle businesses to amazon. However it did take a reminder after 5 days to dispatch the item, once prompted it arrived the following day. Packaging material could have been more robust.

Great service and communication. Ordered a chainring which I couldn't get anywhere else. Ordered over the bank holiday weekend and recieved it in within 3 days. Guy couldn't be more helpful.

Absolute top-notch service from the team at Fawkes Cycles. I needed a replacement chain/crank set delivered ASAP... I placed my order and sent a follow-up email to explain the urgency of my order. My email was responded to really quickly and I was given a clear timeline of when I was likely to receive my order. Thankfully, the exact part I needed was delivered just in time before my big weekend ride. This was the first time I used Fawkes Cycles, but it definitely won't be the last! Thank you so much for the great customer service.

I needed some help with bike tyre sizes and the woman who answered the phone was very helpful and knowledgeable. She answered all of my questions and I ended up with the perfect tyre for my ebike.

For some reason the £5 discount code for first time purchases was not working so I was told to go ahead and make the order anyway and the £5 would be refunded afterwards. They kept to their word and the refund was sent.

Hope to buy more items from them in future.
