I spent a good deal of money on thuja green giants earlier this year from what was “fastgrowingtrees,” and part of the reason I picked this site was for their warranty. Fast forward six months later, and several trees are dead or dying despite meticulous care. I called to inquire about the 1 year “alive and thrive” guarantee and was told my trees only get 60 days. The website VERY prominently advertises a 1 year warranty, so I’m frustrated that the most they’ll offer me is a percent off on my next purchase. Don’t offer a service that you aren’t going to follow through on. I do not recommend this company since they cannot follow through with their posted policies.

I ordered a dwarf cypress. There was a small delay with the shipping which was handled beautifully by customer service. The tree that did arrive is gorgeous! The packaging was brilliant. I had a great experience!

Angie from Customer Service took the time to answer the many questions that I had about my purchase. She was knowledgeable, patient and helpful. I am very happy to have the ability to speak with a live representative when making my purchase. I was able to make the best selection and also to have confidence with the knowledge I gained regarding repotting of the tree and ongoing care.

When to buy a tree it never got here, Talk with the chat AI it was dumb and took me way to much time to get a human then the human try to lie to me about why the tree was never ship. At lest i was able to get a refund i just lost the time. just so you know order 9503928621
Edit 9/15/2026 update
I was send a email about my experience, They did not apologies for there action but sticking to there lie. When they make statement that can be verified they think you are dumb. When they say we head back from shipping the tree due to weather, we can easily check the weather and see if the weather has been the best all summer. When they lie so easy they don't care about you, they don't think you are smart and don't care if you will get a bad tree or not. Don't do bussies with them.

They are not reputable business. I made sure to order enough for free shipping and they sent mw a dead tree. I contacted thwm and rhey siad I would now have to pay $40 shipping to get the tree replaced. They should not have sent mw a dead tree to begin with! This is my 3r time to order from them and I ahve not been impressed with thw quality of plants/trees they are sending. They definitely lost me as a customer

Trees arrived expertly packed for transport. Trees in great shape. Looking forward to transplantation.

Purchased over $500 in plants that were listed as safe for growing in our hot and dry climate. 10 of the 18 plants purchased died in the first 6 months. Read the live & thrive guarantee very closely. It doesn’t cover most of the reasons a plant would die. Furthermore, shipping & taxes aren’t covered on replacements & that could be as much as the original cost. Stick with local nurseries & your geographic known producers. My plants arrived weak but considered “dormant “ so no reason to replace them. I was not able to get them to “live & thrive”

Let's face it, if a company REFUSES to accept customer reviews that aren't glowing, they have something to hide, and Trees, com has A LOT to hide. I spent $300 on twigs. After reviewing them, the company emailed me for a photo, them told me the trees looked GREAT. Who do they think they are kidding? Stay away from this fraudulent company. NOW they are demanding my name and number or Trustpilot will remove my review. THEY HAVE MY INFORMATION AND BLEW ME OFF AS STATED ABOVE! Now look at how they weed out bad reviews:

I could never recommend ordering from this company. The products they send are not as described. I warrantied a lilac tree that died and they sent me a twig that wasn’t even the same type as a replacement, that I had to pay shipping for. They gave me a store credit for the broken twig (wouldn’t refund my payment) so I ordered mums for the fall. The mums were delayed by a month. Just a horrible operation. Support a real nursery that will have much better products and likely better prices.
I tried to post a negative review on their site but they suppressed it, as I’m sure they do with all negative reviews seeing as only positive show on their site.

I've purchased from this company several times over the years. Living in Charlotte, just across the border from their nursery in Ft. Mill, SC. To save time and damage, I use to go by the nursery and pick them up. I still have a Meyer Lemon tree that I've probably had for at least 10 years. In May of 2026, I ordered a Bing Cherry tree and two Blueberry bushes. I received the cherry tree in just a few days, but it said the blueberry bushes would be shipped in June. July came and I called and asked for a refund. They persuaded me to take a small discount and said the bushes would be shipped in August. Today I went online and it showed that they were scheduled to be shipped the week of Sept 1st. Well, today is the 10th, so I called again and asked for a refund. The person apologized and informed me that the bushes wouldn't ship until October and asked if I would consider keeping the order with a small discount (sound familiar?) I said no, just refund my money. He said they will. It better not take five months to do that!

Trees came in on time. They were in tact smaller than expected. They have been getting watered regularly and they haven't grown very much is 4-5 months time. I researched that the trees will grow much bigger but will take 2 years for the growth to start happening. If I would have know this I would have not bought from this company.

Sent me broken and diseased plants. Does not respond to complaints in a timely manner because they know they are running a fraudulent business. False advertising about the Alive and Thrive warranty. Would not recommend.

Misrepresentation of products: Very dissatisfying experience. I ordered four white spruce trees, 7 gallon pot size, advertised as average 5’ to 7’ feet tall. I received plants in 7 gallon pots, ranging in height 3’-3” to 3’-10”, far below their stated range.
I complained, sending photo documentation, and received a reply that plant height is not guaranteed but can guarantee the root stock will have met maturity for the container size.
I was offered a courtesy 30% discount, which I turned down stating it would take at least 3 years for the trees sent to reach the height advertised. I requested they send me trees at least 5’ tall. They declined.
For everyone’s reference, here is the location of the advertised plant height based on pot size on their website:
Go to trees.com, tap the 3 lines in the upper left corner, scroll down to bottom, tap “help center “. In search box enter “understanding plant size and container maturity “. Find that in the list that appears, tap on it.
Scroll down to “evergreen and deciduous trees “, scroll down to “container size 7 gallons “. Read “average height range of plant : 5’ to 7 feet”. Note it doesn’t say anything about the possibility of being as short as 3’-3”.
**Edit\Follow-up** How convenient/sneaky: on September 10, 2026 trees.com went into their website and deleted the container size/tree height lists used by customers to know what height of tree to expect for a given tree pot size. In my review above I gave the directions on how to find that list; now the list is gone from their website. That’s ok, I have a screenshot. Still waiting on a response.

My response to Tree.com’s reply to my complaint:
Yes I have received replies from trees.com from Charles (AI ?), Emerald, and Ethiel. None of which acknowledge my fundamental complaint that at the time of my order, trees.com’s website contained a list of tree heights that will be shipped for ordered evergreen tree pot size. The list stated “for a 7 gallon pot size the tree height will be an average of 5’ to 7’ tall”. Period. With no conditions stated. Note they have since taken down that list. The provided 3’-3” tree is not even close to that range.
Trees.com’s offer to provide a 20% discount is disproportionate to the large shortcomings of their product sent.
My request for trees.com to sent the 5’ to 7’ tall trees as promised on their website or provide a greater discount stands.

We bought two trees with a 60-day guarantee. After our purchase their website said they had free 1-year guarantees for trees. One of the trees died after the 60 days, so I tried to get refund. They made me take a picture and do the scratch test to confirm it died, but after all that, still said it was after the original guarantee and they couldn't do anything about it, even though they then had a free one-year guarantee for new purchases. I'm disappointed I wasn't even offered store credit considering the policy is now changed. It will be easier to get any new trees from Lowe's or Home Depot from now on.

I have not recieved product yet. So far, though, the experience with the website is deplorable. They advertise on price at one promotion, tell you that you'll recieve 10% off your first order and then do not honor both. They also list your total as one price on the summary page, but when going to check out, the price changes to reflect no promotion. They also force you to check out through a 3rd party which I do not like or want my information being exchange through because the 3rd party sells your personal data to other marketers and platforms.

I have made many orders through trees.com and I will say they do not disappoint. From blackberries, blueberries, apple trees, peach trees to house plants and if there is any issue their costumer service team takes care of out in a timely manner!!!

When I ordered my thujas from fastgrowing trees they came in beautiful.
I ordered hydrangeas and they have died.
I just ordered mission arborvates and 5 plants came in on their last life. They offered me 10% off that equates to 1 plant.
2 orders costin over 500 dollars is basically down the drown. I will absolutely use them no longer. What a shame.

A previous order was to be corrected this go around and the customer service rep said lets do a gift card so you just quickly turn around to buy new trees with a new warranty. Sure enough new 6ft tall trees were damaged down to 3ft and now I can't do a full refund.
