Ordered two Bold suitcases worth $300 each. One arrived defective. My first experience with customer support was insulting. He offered me 15% off my NEXT purchase as a show of “good will.” I was offer... See more

We have two Travel Pro Crew Classic carry-on spinner suitcases bought in 2022. Though we don’t travel often, we were happy with the how much these cases held for the size, and how easily they rolled. However, on only our third trip using these cases, two wheels broke off on one case and one wheel broke on the other. The airline compensated us, and after some effort with Travel-Pro’s customer service, we got replacement wheels. On our next trip, another wheel broke off. This time we replaced the wheel, but Travel-Pro also sent us a new, similar suitcase because they were out of wheels! On this our fourth trip with these cases, yet another wheel broke off. Now we are afraid to use either the repaired cases or the brand new replacement case. Luckily, each time the wheels broke on our return home, but had they broken on arrival at our destination we would have been lugging non-rolling suitcases through city streets and foreign airports. The wheels are obviously a weak spot in an otherwise fine piece of luggage, but the cases are useless to us if they don’t roll, or even if we fear they won’t roll.

My order never arrived. When I contacted TravelPro they said I could send them another $50 and they would send a replacement while I dealt with UPS. I don’t understand why it's MY job to deal with THEIR delivery service. I paid for a suitcase I didn’t receive and they want more money. They should replace it immediately and work on recouping the loss from UPS on their end.

I am so disappointed in TravelPro that they do not stand behind their word or product. I purchased the Maxlite 5 International Carry-On Rollaboard from TravelPro July, 2024; however, I have used it less than six times. I gave it two stars because I do like the bag; however, the zipper on the larger front pocket separated/misaligned. I have reached out with all requested information twice.
First time, I was emailed by Daniela, the zipper did not fall under their warranty; although it states: “What is Covered by this Limited Warranty
An "active" limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that negatively impact the functional performance of the product, including
Zippers that break or can no longer operate correctly outside of normal wear and tear.”
Daniela emailed the zipper replacement was not available and they did not know when it would be available and I was offered15% off a new piece!
Second time I reached out, again emailed by Daniela, I was told the same thing minus the 15% off which I had declined.
I am only requesting a repair/replacement of my zipper or a comparable piece of luggage as stated in their warranty for defective parts.
TravelPro, you need to stand beside your word and your product.

For an expensive brand like a TravelPro suitcase you would expect a better quality product. I purchased my first TravelPro suitcase 20 years and I just retired it. Travel Pro's new suitcases are cheaply made. I bought a Medium Size Crew Classic for an upcoming trip and the zipper does not open and close smoothly. I contacted customer service, and it was the worst experience. She was illiterate, did not understand what I was saying or asking and reading from a script. She was unable to answer any questions out of the ordinary. Most frustrating, she refused to transfer me to a supervisor and kept putting me on hold. She wanted me to send a pictures of the suitcase and send me a replacement part. How is this even going to help! I was hoping to speak with a supervisor to expedite the process. Everything is handled online. I am returning this suitcase and getting another brand. Guess this long-term, loyal TravelPro customer is done!

I have had nothing but negative customer service experiences with this company and it has been maddening. It’s weird too because I just traveled to Europe and back with their products and loved them, got home and decided to add another bag to the set and am snarled in the same terrible customer service morass as last time (first time, ordered set in one color — bag came wrong color; this time, ordered in wrong color, IMMEDIATELY recognized it, called customer service seconds later, “yes I see your order, unfortunately we can’t cancel or modify existing orders … you’ll need to wait for it to come in and then you can return it.” “Wait doesn’t that just cost us both extra time and money?” “Probably.”

Trash customer service. Asking me repeatedly for something thats not on the bag a manufacturer's error nit mine.
Will NEVER purchase again.

Order places online, arrived a day early, was used on our trip. Matches our existing pieces perfectly. Another quality piece from TravelPro

Five stars for the product, one star for the customer "service" which has been awful, the wrong item was sent, then a replacement was sent to the wrong address, then another wrong item was sent...six weeks later, I still do not have the product I ordered and am waiting on a refund.
Update: It has been another month and I still have not been refunded after returning the original wrong item sent.
Third installment: TP finally responded to my inquiry about the refund for the items I sent back. They claim they were never received. I have proof of delivery from Fedex, showing that both packages were received and signed for by their "customer service" department. I still have not gotten any resolution so I am disputing the charges. Buyer beware, this company is not to be trusted!

It took me a long time to find Travelpro. I am so glad I finally did! My Travelpro bags are the best bags I have ever had. They are very well traveled nationally and internationally. Easy to roll, easy to spot on the luggage carousel and classy looking. They are just what I want and need for my travel! Good job!

I ordered a couple travel pro luggage sets. They were supposed to be 2 medium checked bags and 3 carryons. Unfortunately i ordered the large checked bag. My fault. I went to return the set as requested by travelpro customer service. They told me it was typical to send the return with 2 RMAs due to there being 2 suitcases. They also said i could send them in 1 box, which I did. Only 1 RMA was processed. Speaking with customer service has been a nightmare as they don't seem to understand what I am needing or asking. Not sure the second RMA will ever be processed. It has been frustrating for sure. The suitcases themselves are fantastic, but customer service has made for a very negative experience.

Their warranty is useless and their customer service is horrific. When we made a warranty claim for a broken handle, we were told we would have to pay shipping for the new part! It then came with no instructions as to how to install it. When we called to inquire, we had a foreign call center person who was barely comprehensible. Eventually, she told us since it didn’t come with instructions, we should take it to a local repair place, and they would fix it. Which we did, only to find out we’d be charged for the repairs. So an item that was barely a year old and supposedly under warranty cost us $50 to fix. Stay away.

I have been very satisfied with my Travelpro Crew carryon and wanted a piece of similar quality in a larger size. I chose the Crew Checked Medium Spinner.
Website made it simple to find the one I wanted. It came quickly and I look forward to using it on an upcoming Europe trip.

I was happy overall with suitcase until I tried to file a warranty claim on a tear along a sewn in part. They stated it was from normal wear and tear and would not honor a fix or substitute. It has only been on 4 trips. They offered a measly 15% on a new one which stores give bigger discounts. Now unhappy with them or any company that does not take responsibility for
poor workmanship.
I have submitted 2 requests with pictures and proof of purchase etc.. Thet counter offered with 25%discount towards a new suitcase. No offer to pay for repair or to replace product. If ripping along a piece of built in is normal wear &tear than suitcase is not as advertised and any suitcase can be bought cheaper. Save your money if having to replace luggage every 5 years.

My daughter and son-in-law received a beautiful piece of Travelpro luggage as a wedding gift. The package arrived without any packing slip, card or other identifying information. We have not been able to identify who sent the gift. Customer service at Travelpro has been unable to help us identify who sent the gift! So frustrating! Does anybody have any suggestions?

I purchased an item during a sale event from travelpro.com. The whole reason I purchased from their site (instead of Amazon, where it was actually *cheaper*) was because of the promise of a 100-day trial. That promise is prominently displayed on the product webpage.
After purchase, I received an email receipt stating that this was a "Final Sale - no returns or exchanges". In no way was this stated anywhere on the product webpage or during checkout. Only after my card had been charged.
I've gone back and forth with their support team and while they acknowledge that their web page was deceptive, they won't honor the 100-day trial.
If this is how they treat a brand-new customer, I have doubts about their supposed "lifetime warranty" and will not purchase another Travelpro product.

Travel pro offers many options. While the options we tried didn’t work for us, the customer service was superior! The process to return or exchange is easy, the team was happy to help. And Dolores went above and beyond, worked with great integrity and professionalism. Thank you!
