with the hope that TooLost will be able to look after the interests of its artists by defending them from arbitration actions by streaming services that too often penalize, remove and damage the work of musicians by accusing them of artificial listening or similar stupidities

As an independent artist, I trusted Too Lost with my catalog and paid their fees in good faith. This has been a nightmare. They have charged me (approx. $37 USD / ₹3,100 INR), but they have failed to distribute my music.
The worst part is their "support." There is none. My support tickets are repeatedly closed without any response or explanation. Direct emails to their support team go unanswered. I am currently stuck with a financial loss and no way to get my music out or my money back.
If you are a serious artist, do not risk your money or your music with Too Lost. They will trap your release and ghost you.

Lots of features compared to other services, splits and analytics are very helpful.

3 months before I joined Too lost , I asked Too Lost if they were distributing to Beatport , and Traxsource . Being a house label, this was Very importent, they said yes . I then asked, if it mattered if I would be putting up catalog manually . I was told no problem if you still have a page up on both stores- I did . So - I bought my distribution package. and started to upload my catalog . It was an easy to work platform once I went through the process . But my tracks were not appearing on Beatport or Traxsource. I asked why ? Too Lost asked for a link to my pages. I sent them the links a few times -still Nothing? After 3 months of my tracks not posting on Beatport of Traxsource , and me sending the links to my pages there - I found another distributor through a referral from a friend. I took my house Music tracks off of Too Lost and posted them through the other distributor - they asked for my link sense I was posting catalog manually and they had them up starting 3 weeks later . I still have a small more commercial Album up .. under my copyright name .. But when I decided to post two other projects they stopped me from posting them with paper work issues. Most likely I'd been marked a difficult . ? I liked the idea of Too Lost . I liked the platform. and I liked it was a US company . But disappointed that they said they had distribution they did not - and wasted my time and money ,

"Invalid artwork" 🤕
There are a lot of bugs on the website as well as in the app. Imagine—I’m not even able to distribute my new releases. Everything seems fine, yet it keeps showing an artwork error, even though I know there’s nothing wrong with it.
Also, sometimes the navigation buttons between the “New Release” information steps don’t work at all. I’m currently facing several issues that are preventing me from completing my release.
Please look into this as soon as possible.

I appreciated the timely manner in which my song, “Storm” was posted and the efficient way that my royalties were paid! Thank you!

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR MONEY.
I have been a user for a long time, but as soon as I started making real money, they froze my account. Currently, they are withholding over $4,000 USD of my royalties based on a months-old claim from a person who has completely vanished and is unresponsive.
Here is the reality of how they treat artists:
Spotify already resolved the issue and reinstated my music. I sent Too Lost the proof.
The claimant is unresponsive (ghosted), meaning the claim is invalid.
Instead of releasing my funds, Too Lost support simply CLOSED my ticket without a resolution!
They are effectively stealing my earnings by hiding behind a "dead" claim. They refuse to look at the evidence and refuse to communicate. This is bad faith business practice.
I am now filing formal complaints with the BBB and the New York Attorney General to get my money back. Stay away if you actually want to get paid.

I’m leaving this review to share a mixed experience and hopefully get some clarification.
I use Too Lost for music distribution and have generally had a good experience with the platform itself. However, I’m currently facing an issue with the Bulk Import (CSV upload) workflow.
About 18 days ago, I submitted a test CSV following the official Bulk Import documentation and was informed that access to this feature would be granted after review. Since then, my support ticket has been placed on hold and reviewed internally multiple times, but I have not received any written feedback or confirmation regarding whether the CSV is approved, requires changes, or if the feature is currently available for my account.
I fully understand internal review processes can take time, but at this point I simply need clear guidance on how to proceed, as this impacts my release planning.
I’m not asking for expedited handling. Just a confirmation on whether Bulk Import is available, and if so, what the next steps are.
I hope the Too Lost team can help clarify this, as the documentation suggests this workflow is supported, but communication through support has been unclear so far.

Love the platform. Clean interface, super easy to navigate, payouts are fast and reporting actually makes sense.

this actually used to be one of the best distros in like early 2024 but ever since 2025 in went downhill so much. i release something i have 100% produced and made myself and it requires documentation. they do not do ANYTHING about false copyright claims, they also never accept any of the documentations that i give. this company has went downhill so much and it took me so long to finally cancel my subscription.

Ok platform with alot of options for a fair price. That being said I have had big issues with the Apple motion art feature amd the dolby atmos. This platform has a glitch in their upload portal for Apple Motion art it dose not expect the files, this year now 1 portal works the 3x4 but the 1x1 will not take files and without both you cant finish your project so your forced to just send your music with no motion artwork. I spoke with someone last year and and an unanswered support tickets this year. I screen recorded showing them the problem only for no one to help me fix the issue.
On the dolby atmos it dose not give any file confirmation but if you add the wrong file it will not take it so when you upload the proper atmos file it takes the file but dose not show no confirmation after saving the projects meta data. I was not given any reason why and was told they submitted my files but no files was ever uploaded to any platform for my atmos mix.
This year same 2 Problems and I sent in a support ticket with no answer in almost 2 weeks now.
If I dont get both of these problems fixed I will have to take my business some where else. This is so sad cus I feel this platform could be a great place for all my future music and current music.

nacceptable Delays and Non-Transparent Support
I submitted a song for distribution on 23 December, and nearly a month later it is still not live on Spotify, with no clear explanation as to why.
Support responses from Too Lost have been consistently generic, vague, and non-specific. Instead of providing a concrete reason for the delay, a confirmed go-live date, or a technical explanation, I keep receiving half-baked template replies (e.g. blaming “holidays”), which do not hold up—especially since other platforms processed the same release without any issue.
What is most concerning is the lack of accountability and transparency. No one has been able (or willing) to clearly explain:
why the release was not processed correctly,
when it will actually go live,
or whether this issue can happen again.
If you are a serious artist or label relying on release schedules, marketing timelines, or contractual obligations, this kind of uncertainty is unacceptable.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Too Lost. The name is unfortunately fitting—they seem genuinely too lost when it comes to support, communication, and ownership of problems.
I strongly advise artists to consider more reliable distributors with clearer processes and competent customer support.

support team didn’t help me at all. resulted in catalog getting taken down and me losing thousands of dollars. debatable legal action route to recoup against toolost/angie’s mess ups that i had to pay for while they stayed silent.

Been using TooLost since October under their 1-year free promo. So far, my experience has been really good.
I Already released multiple songs and usually schedule them around 2 weeks ahead. That helps a lot in case a “Need Docs” status shows up. Once the required statement is submitted, approval goes through fast and releases don’t get delayed.
Approval is quick and delivery to streaming platforms is fast. The platform is user-friendly and the interface is easy to understand, even when handling everything alone.
No real issues with support. Replies aren’t always instant, but they’re still fast and problems actually get resolved.
Overall, TooLost has been reliable and solid for independent artists.
