One of the worst distributors you could use. On paper they're really solid but in reality it's so much worse. Don't work with them if you're serious about your artistic career.
Congrats on your recent data leak as well!!!

Toolost i have to say go alive and beyond when it comes to features, support and accessibility. For the value you are paying, compared to other distributors, you are getting more than you pay for in features!
I can not imagine going elsewhere in the near future for quite a while yet.

had a rough start with a rejected release, after that, it was better.

Too Lost is one of the best distros I use. They truly offer the best service there is for their artists. The greatest disadvantage I have with this service is their slow payout due to processing

Account Banned Without Explanation — Active Catalog Left Unmanageable
I've been using Too Lost as a distributor for my label (E3 Publishing Co.) and had recently transferred a portion of my catalog to them using their own official transfer tool, making them my sole active distribution arrangement for several works. On February 17, 2026, I received a notification that my account had been banned for "non-compliance with Terms of Service" — with no specific explanation, no prior warning, and no outlined appeal process.
I immediately submitted a dispute via both email and their support contact form, explaining my situation clearly: I'm an independent artist, producer, and label operator with over 20 years of experience, with active releases on all major streaming platforms that I can no longer manage, update, or initiate takedowns on. I provided identity verification, screenshots from my SoundExchange and ASCAP portals, and offered to supply any additional documentation required. I received only a generic auto-response.
On February 18, I submitted a formal follow-up from my label email with additional credentials and documentation. On February 25 — 8 days after the ban — I followed up again asking for an appeal status update and clarification on next steps. Too Lost's reply that same day was a single paragraph stating my appeal would be reviewed and I would be notified if reinstated — no timeline, no explanation, no acknowledgment of the specific issues raised.
As of today, nearly 10 days after the ban, I remain completely locked out of my portal with no ability to manage my releases, respond to rights issues, or protect my intellectual property. This is not a minor inconvenience — this is a serious operational risk for any working artist or label.
I'm leaving this review not purely out of frustration, but because artists deserve transparency and due process from their distributor. I remain open to a resolution and will absolutely update this rating if Too Lost reinstates access or provides a clear, good-faith explanation. Until then, I'd strongly encourage any independent artist or label operator to carefully weigh the risks before making Too Lost a distribution partner.

The platform is extremely slow, and there is effectively no way to file a proper DMCA counter-notification. When you attempt to do so, they simply tell you to contact the claimant directly. If the claimant ignores you, they treat it as your responsibility and offer no further assistance

Sign up process was a bit strict with verification, slowed me down at the start.

Approval process can be picky sometimes but once you learn it its ok.

Toolost Is reliable company, I have used them more than two years, everything and payments go smoothly. However we need to hold copyright authorization or copyright owner or original content in order to distribute with them . Highly recommend!

My playlist submission got rejected so that was a bummer, distribution side is still good.

Too lost has been great for my label, spilts and reports save me a ton of time.

Horrible support team.
They never answer questions directly.
It feels like chatting with bots and not with humans.
Stupidly, I transferred my entire catalog from CD Baby to TooLost a couple of months ago, and now I regret the day I did it. Looking for a cheap option wasn’t a good idea after all. Be aware not to repeat my mistake.

Too Lost has completely changed my music career for the better! I am thrilled to share that I retain 100% of my royalties, have access to a wealth of fantastic perks and benefits, and the freedom to release as much music as I want, all for the incredibly affordable price of just $20 per year. It's an absolute steal, and a total game-changer for independent artists like myself. What's more, I appreciate that they are incredibly understanding; if, for some reason, I am unable to renew my subscription, they still allow my music to remain available, only taking a small 15% royalty cut. I was also able to take advantage of a generous free 3-month trial when I initially signed up, which allowed me to test the platform and see firsthand the value it provides.
