Terrible experience with everything. Bad product, cheap, don’t fit well, returns are impossible and expensive back to China. Their site is misleading. Never got a refund. In general try on glasses in a store.

They’re great until you need to return basically.. everyone seem to have the same problem where when you want to return the glasses, you need to pay for the $7 stocking fee, the original free shipping that they supposedly paid for, and then shipping that you need to pay for to return these useless glasses that you won’t able to use. Think twice before you buy from this company, as you will not be returning any of their glasses. My glasses was $80 (sale price) and it not good quality, not worth $80, wearing it felt uncomfortable. This company front page look like they care about environment and tip top quality, it is not. These glasses can be bought else where, with way lower price that actually match their quality.

The glasses were received about a month after ordering and did not fit as expected. Although I referenced the listed dimensions against existing glasses, they were incredibly tight on the temples. They are impossible to wear throughout an entire day and cause considerable pain. I requested to return the frames and was told I would have to pay for return shipping and a restocking fee. Over $50 shipping and a restocking fee to return $100 glasses... overall the metal frames are unimpressive and uncomfortable.

This company is awful. First off, they make it sound like the company is based in Amsterdam, and the products are high quality European design, but upon order, come to find out it’s a Chinese company. So points lost there for deceptive advertising trickery. Next they asked for my PD to complete the order, which I obtained, but the website it horrible to navigate, and none of the links or instructions work. I’m beyond frustrated. Now nobody is replying to my email. Do not waste your time with this piece of crap worthless company.

Over 7 weeks waiting. Now parcel is lost. No one coming back to me on their website or contact email
Absolute scam

Wish I could give 0 stars.
Took 3 months to receive glasses. I was given a shorter time frame for delivery and went through with it not realizing how long I’d be without glasses.
The cost to return the glasses is $300 from Missouri. On top of that, they charge 7$ restocking fee and an additional fee for what it cost to ship the glasses to me in the first place. Guess how much my original order was? $300.
An absolutely asinine return policy. The glasses quality is not at all worth this trouble. I will never, ever recommend this company to anyone again. Horrible experience. I am out 300$

I hadn’t read any reviews when I had order my two pairs of prescription glasses. Once I had ordered, I decided to read the reviews and thought I had been scammed after reading them. I didn’t cancel my order. 2 weeks later, 2 pairs of beautiful, crystal clear prescription glasses with correct anti glare arrived! No complaints here at all!
I just received my glasses and I LOVE LOVE LOVE them!!!! These glasses are exactly what I was looking for.
I was very hesitant ordering from them after reading these reviews, however, I’m so glad I went through with the purchase. The glasses are excellent quality and my prescription is perfect. I will absolutely order from them again.
My only concern is that it did take nearly 2 months to receive my glasses upon placing the order. However, this was mostly on me because I didn’t include a certain measurement for my prescription. I did have to reach out to them to inquire about the delay. They are also based in China so, of course, there will be somewhat of a delay. However, the customer service is great and highly responsive.
Next time I order, I’ll probably just pay for express shipping so it doesn’t take as long. Another option to receive the glasses quickly is by placing an express order for JUST the frames and getting your optometrist to fill the prescription.
Other than that, great experience and VERY MUCH worth the wait. 😊
After much deliberation, I ordered a pair of glasses from TIJN - and then made this mistake of searching for reviews, which to be honest had me regretting my purchase.
However, I needn’t have worried. The glasses arrived within two weeks of order, the progressive prescription has been dispensed perfectly and the frames are gorgeous. No complaints here. Based on my experience alone, I would order from them again and would recommend.
So far not good. I’m in an ongoing dispute over an item not received but marked as delivered by Hermes (worst delivery company). To top it off I didn’t receive the tracking number until I emailed customer service to enquire about my order. Their tracking number they gave me on the site didn’t work for the dodgy tracking site it was supposed to be used with. Once I emailed only then did I find out the real tracking number and that Hermes had my parcel. I mean how did they not give it to me before. I’ve been talking to a person called Daiana for 18 days!! Can’t believe it’s taken me this long. They’ve finally offered me a replacement, but now after confirming my address she’s gone radio silent for 6 days. I’ve sent 4 back to back emails asking where she’s gone and what’s happening but nothing. I’m gonna send a fresh email. I personally won’t quit until I either get my money back or an item. I’ve even gone on their TikTok and instagram. I personally haven’t had any issues in my life with orders, even ones from Asia. I order things from Asia all the time. This company is exceptional I must say. Very awful. Even SHEIN woulda refunded straight away. TIJN if you’re reading this, do better

I bought shoes from this company a size larger than my usual, and they still ran too small. Since the shoes were cute, I requested an exchange but was shocked to learn that:
- There is no easy way to request a return other than to email a vague email address.
- I will have to pay to ship the item back myself.
- I will have to pay for shipment to CHINA (which comes out more expensive than the shoes themselves).
- They will deduct a $7 fee for "restocking", and refund the remaining amount.
So.. my shoes cost $43, shipping them back would cost me ($44) and the weird restocking fee would cost ($7), so I'd be out $51. What a scam! Please do not purchase anything from this business no matter how cute their ads look because you will get the wrong size and have no way to get your money back.

Ok so...
1- You have to pay the return shipping
2- You pay for restocking fees...?! What is that? It's the first time I hear this one! And that was NEVER MENTIONED ON THEIR WEBSITE UNDER ANY SECTIONS (7$)
3- You pay for the original order shipping... Other fees that was NOT MENTIONED ON THEIR WEBSITE. (Certainly around 20$ too)
So in total approximately 50$!?
Half of the price I paid for uncomfortable glasses?!
And they have the nerve to claim "EASY RETURN" under all of their items?!? This is outrageous and fraudulent.
What they do to clients that are not satisfied with their products is really wrong!

These shop should stop selling certain styles and definitely prescription spectacles. I ordered a pair of Maaike and one of the arms broke just after 2 days of using them. I was literally putting them on, did not make any pressure on the arm. They sent a new Maaike frame for free and I swapped the lenses. A few days after using the new frame, one of the arms broke again in the same place. The rejected my request for a refund and said it’s not their problem! I’d say they have a design/production problem with this style in particular. Long story short, I sent them to a repairs company, they repaired the arm in both frames. I started using one of the frames daily, the fixed arm has not broken again. The new issue is, they are really heavy and will give you headaches in the eye area and forehead. I do not recommend the Maaike style, or any similar style. I do not recommend styles with different parts and metal parts. Even though they tried fixing the issue in the first place, I don’t appreciate they ignoring my second claim.

THIS IS A F.CKING SCAM. THEY TOOK FOREVER TO RESPOND TO MY REFUND REQUEST. THEY MENTIONED ON THEIR EMAIL "For non-quality related issues, you'll get a refund or store credit after we receive the returned package.
We will deduct $7 to cover the restocking fee for each shipping item. The extra shipping costs are non-refundable once the package has been shipped. If you receive a refund, the cost of the original order shipping will be deducted from your refund. The buyer is responsible for returning shipping costs.
Could you please return it to our lab in China?"
WHY THE HELL WOULD I PAY $170 SHIPPING FROM CANADA TO CHINA WITHOUT GUARANTEE OF GETTING A FULL REFUND. I'VE BEEN DEALING WITH THEM FOR 1 MONTH NOW. NOTHING HAS HAPPENED.

Reply from TIJN
Their prescription gathering was totally inadequate resulting in the wrong prescription being sent. Made me pay for and send them back, then denied me a refund. So I paid $138.00 and have nothing, plus out the shipping to send them back. DO NOT USE. REALLY REALLY BAD. ALMOST A SCAM.
So they've just written back after more than 2 years!
Again people, don't use this company.

I first used these guys 2 years ago, and the glasses were great. Really nice style, arrived quicker than expected as they come from China. I stupidly and accidentally danced on them in May and needed to get new ones, held off as long as I could until they just broke beyond being usable... bought a new pair and they arrived quicker than expected again, however they got my axis on my left eye wrong, which was noticeable with them on sadly - was hoping I could get away with it but the axis is astigmatism correction. Emailed them to let them know, they replied within 24hrs and advised they will re-make them and send a new pair out asap, at no extra cost. Very happy!
Bought eyeglass frames that arrived in a few days. No way this was shipped from China. To return the frames they will deduct $7 restocking fee and it must be returned to China lab???? Nothing was mentioned in the return policy about China!!! I'm stuck! Total $ loss. Beware!!!!

I originally bought two pairs of glasses and loved them. A year later, I decided I wanted to new glasses, one to replace an older pair of TIJN glasses I already had in the same style and a new pair in a different style.
When my glasses arrived, the pair of glasses was different from the product advertised and different than the pair of glasses I already owned, which were the exact same ones advertised. The glasses were of similar shape, but the temple tips and weight of the glasses were different and they felt cheap. I have written to TIJN about this issue and they have not responded. Their customer service is basically non-existent and they do not seem to care about fixing customer issues.

The return process is a scam, I paid $30 to send back to their “ lab” in China and 9 months later I received the package back and no refund. Stay away from this website!

I've never written a review before but this company is just so awful I felt I had to. If youve got any sense you'll save yourself time , money and hassle and avoid this lot like the plague. THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.
