While I was frustrated that the glasses I ordered didn’t fit my face like I thought they would, I’m more annoyed that the material is so cheap. Tijn is like the SHEIN of glasses. The plastic on the arms of my glasses are so lightweight and clearly crappy material.

Guys, please do not buy from them unless you are absolutely certain that: 1. The glasses will fit your face, 2. The glasses will be comfortable, and 3. That you will like the glasses (despite the fact that some of the selections look different in-person versus how they are marketed online). Returns are useless because the shipping costs more than the glasses do, durability isn't all there (metal nose pads broke off without anyway of fixing without super glue), and comfortability is okay once you break in the glasses. Warranty only lasts 180 days, and until recently, you had to text a number on Whatsapp to receive one. If looking for online services, turn to Zenni or Firmoo, they will last you more than a year, unlike Tijn.

The prescription lenses I received are incredibly blurry and the frame feels cheap. I strongly advise against making a purchase - you will definitely regret it! What's worse, the return process costs over $100.

I ordered a pair and after several weeks it arrived being the wrong lenses the prescription is off and there is no way to wear them. I contacted them and they refuse to do a replacement or refund. Please don’t buy from this Chinese based store let’s buy from here(USA) where they always honor a replacement or refund on a non satisfied customer. Let’s stop purchasing cheap Chinese products!

This company is 100% a scam, I waited months for glasses I paid over 100.00 for. I never received them. I was told I would be refunded, and never was. I was scammed out of all of that money and will tell every person I know to avoid TIJN.

I had placed an order for 6 pairs of glasses, 2 were a rather high prescription and the other four were just standard sunglasses. I then (after I spent the money), read reviews and got so nervous seeing so many people having so many issues with this company. However, my experience has been nothing like those who’ve had issues. The glasses that were prescription were perfect, the sunglasses lens weren’t thinned but I wasn’t too upset as they aren’t too terribly thick, and the regular prescription glasses are perfect. Both of the formerly mentioned are metal frames and after having gone to the gym wearing them, and wearing them on a semi-regular basis I have not experienced any kind of rash or skin irritation. I even spoke with customer service about the materials of their metal frames and heard from them within 2 days. The glasses took about 3 weeks to get to me but knowing they were coming from across the world (I live in the southwest US), I wasn’t upset about that at all. I only have one tiny complaint about my metal frame standard glasses and it’s that they’re a little tight so they squeeze behind my ears a little but that’s more my fault for not having read the measurements of the frames. I would recommend this brand and would buy from them again if need be.
I love the styles they have on their website. Unfortunately I found their glasses to be uncomfortable and unflattering. I’ve never had glasses that irritated the back of my head before, somehow these do!
I only buy glasses online, so I know how to read the measurements and I know what sizes fit me.
I thought no problem, I’ll just return them. Turns out shipping the small box they came in back to China, with tracking, is going to cost me ATLEAST $150! Almost more than one pair cost!

TERRIBLE company with terrible service.
I should’ve taken the time to read the reviews first. My order status said “processing” for over a month. When I contacted them via email they said they placed my order on “hold” due to my inquiry about high index lenses. They said they would then resume the order now that I contacted them. 2 weeks go by, order status still shows as “processing”. Reached out again to let them know that I would like to cancel the order because it has simply been way too long. They said they would cancel & issue me a refund within 7-9 business days. I reach out again after the time frame they promised & they said “the refund will be issued in the latest batch within this week, please rest assured.” (whatever that means)
2 months later, still no glasses or refund. I had to file a claim through my bank. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!

Ordered 2 pairs or glasses in 2021. As I am short sighted, I need and use glasses everyday so I just ordered the frames without prescription glasses to have them made by my usual optician. Everything was fine (the frames were really pretty) but as I wore them everyday they got wonky and bad in a matter of just a few weeks. The polish/varnish (sorry I'm not sure which term to use as I'm not a native English speaker) wore off rapidly, leaving the metal of the frames rest directly on my face and I developped a huge skin allergy because of that so be really careful !!! I don't know which metal they used but it is certainly not skin friendly/allergy free !!! Had to put medical tape around the glasses' temples to avoid them touching my skin directly while waiting to be able to buy a safe pair of glasses from my optician. Real waste of money.

A friend of mine has gotten some really cute glasses here so I decided to give it a shot. Now I’m full of regret. My order took almost a month to arrive and when I received the glasses the RX was wildly off to the point that they were unwearable. Contacted them for a return or replacement, they offered a replacement but required me to get the RX checked first. That is a far bigger hassle than I ever expected it to be because not everyone is willing to do that- not even the place I got my RX from. Finally got them checked and confirmed they were way off so I let customer service know I would like a replacement. Replacement came and once again the RX was wrong and unwearable. I told them I was not willing to go through the hassle of getting these checked again so they had me take a series of photos just to tell me they won’t issue a full refund. I can either half a 50% refund or an 80% credit. As if i would ever waste my time or money on this company again. Unfortunate because the frames were super cute and nice quality. I would’ve been a return customer if they could’ve just gotten the prescription right. I don’t understand how an eyeglass company doesn’t check the prescription themselves before sending out the order? At least a replacement order to be sure you got it right the second time.

I got a pair of glasses from the site. They were beautiful but the fit and lenses felt off. I contacted them for a return. They asked me to go to an optometrist to get the prescription tested or would give me a discount on next glasses. Neither option worked so I eventually just kept them. An optometrist was willing to adjust them for me which helped with the lens and fit, but then the glasses ended up giving me headaches because they’re so heavy and ill fitting still. I wouldn’t buy from here again.

I bought many glasses over the years, and they used to be excellent .. now I just got the last pairs, they arrived from China, they are cheap plastic, completely different from the first ones I ordered .. so I will not order this crap again :(

First, I was super excited to try a pair of glasses from TIJN. The photos on the website look fantastic. I ordered a pair to try out --- so glad I only ordered 1 pair and not multiples. The prescription is fine. The glasses themselves feel super lightweight and fragile, and they sit horribly crooked on my face. Additionally, based on measurements, the glasses should have been really oversized on my face, and they are really small and tight. The return policy reads like it's virtually impossible to return glasses, so I'm not even attempting to. I just won't purchase again and will recommend against it to my friends and family.

Cheap material has my skin extremely irritated. Contacted customer service and they said it’s because I sweat and I shouldn’t buy metal eyewear…isn’t doing anything to remediate. You get what you pay for and unfortunately this is it.

I wish there is an option to give them zero star. I received my prescription glasses July 7th. After a month I noticed some skin irritation on my cheeks. And behind my ears. I ignored this and kept wearing them until August 9th we went on summer vacation and during that time I wore contact lenses. The irritation calmed down and went away. After my summer vacation, I knew it was my glasses causing the irritation. I put them on again to see if I will get the irritation back and it did!
So I sent a message to the customer service who only lectured me about avoiding metal frames. I have been wearing glasses for years now and had metal frame with zero issues. They should just admit that their product is really bad quality. Imagine not even a couple of months the coating is already wearing off. This is the reason why im getting irritation on my skin!!! If you need glasses better go to an optic clinic.

The frames are nice, but I couldn't even wear them with my prescription. I know there is some variation in the lenses and thus some distortion and blurring is possible until your eyes adjust, but these were so distorted I couldn't wear them for more the 5 minutes without getting nauseated. I sent a photo if my prescription and they were careful to double check before I fully submitted my order. Will be bringing them to an optometrist to check the lenses before they will consider a refund.

Really bad customer service. They do not want to refund my glasses even the post office said they already were delivered back at their offices. They do NOT give refunds. It is all lies! They are not helpfull at all. I am talking to them for more then 1 month now.
The quality of the product is also really cheap and it cost you the amount you pay for your product to send it back to them. This is just a waste of money. The better option for you is to set you money on fire then give it to them.

This is for TIJN Home. I ordered two pairs of shoes, Suvi and Brett. I would compare the quality to something like Steve Madden. Took a minute to arrive but it came in great packaging. Unsure if would order from here again
I was skeptical after reading reviews but my order was already placed. My glasses were backordered, this was clearly stated before ordering. They shipped sooner than expected and shipping was quick. Be aware of their cancelation and return policy beforehand. I got the Jarrel glasses, which have a full metal frame. They seem to be well made, have been comfortable all day, and I have no complaints!
