Third purchase experience from Whisky World and all have been very good. The website experience is very helpful and easy to use and the range of choice extensive . I ordered on a Sunday afternoon and received order by Tuesday so super quick. The packaging and safety of the bottles is very impressive . All bottles are concealed in individually in an ingenious segmented air filled pouches . Delivered by DPD. Value for money is quite fare and sale items worth a look. I have been very happy using Whisky World and can recommend them.

Delivery cost was astronomical
Delivery cost was astronomical. International delivery was £70, then a hidden import cost of $70 AUD on top to get the item released from customs, which was not mentioned at time of purchase, surely that’s illegal and any import costs should be accounted for in the delivery fee or at minimum disclosed at time of purchase?
Very disappointed and will be my only purchase from The Whiskey World.

We are very sorry for the frustration caused by the Australian import tariffs.
Unfortunately, import duties and taxes are set by the destination country’s customs authorities and are collected locally by the courier upon arrival. These charges are outside of our control and are not included in our delivery fees.
That said, we do aim to be as transparent as possible. A notice is displayed before checkout, as well as on our delivery information page, to advise that additional local duties and taxes may apply depending on the destination.
We truly regret any disappointment caused and appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue to improve both our communication and overall customer experience.

Amazingly fast delivery, really well packaged so that it all arrived intact and the choice on the website is really good. I’m very pleased to be able to get a couple of old family favourites from my late grandmother’s homeland again!
