TLC built our loft conversion with en-suite bathroom. Very happy with the end result, finished to a high standard. TLC are a professional and reliable company; the team were very knowledgable, patient & responsive to our needs. Would definitely recommend.

Please avoid. They are a cowboy company and I had to take them to court amd win just to get my deposit back as they tell you 1 thi g then grab your deposit then change the price Bu over £8,000. Won my case in court but they t fusing to pay saying they received no letter from the court even though the director Alfie Myers was on the end of the phone at the court date. How strange they know the court date woth no letter !!!!!
Please avoid unl de you want lots of stress amd a bunch of lies from the directors. Would love to give a minus but it will not allow me. I have stay d quiet but not anymore as a big company moaning over £2000. Would love the director to come to us to tell my kids that there presents were very small this year due to this company keeping my kids x mass money. I hope they sleep at night as I have to listen to my kids crying saying they didn’t expect much which really hurts so please everybody AVOID

Can not fault the quality of service we was provided throughout. We was given an extremely reasonable quote for the work and it was carried out efficiently and to a high standard. The gentleman clearly take pride in the work and we appreciated the cleaning up afterwards!

TLC came highly recommended and did not let us down. The building team were at the house on time everyday and literally did not stop all day. Connor our project manage was great- he was on call 24/7 and sorted out any issues with a matter of urgency- this chap really did make the daunting journey of a build quite a pleasant experience. We would highly recommend TLC to anyone looking for a quality loft conversion or extension.

From start to finish I have not one regret from using TLC. We are beyond happy with their service and their people.

They did everything they could to work with us and despite challenges (not to their own making) that were thrown at them they always delivered and their response was ‘no problem we will get it done’ Alfie provided a quote and didn’t pester me at all until I made contact again. He was knowledgable and took pride in the construction process which was really reassuring as opposed to just wanting to get our cash.

A sign of a good company is their people and TLC delivered on this in spades. Matt led on the job and nothing was too much for him and their team. Connor their PM was always at hand and helped out so many things, even stepping in to make sure our bed frame was delivered via crane and taken up to the new loft room when my wife and I were in hospital with our newborn! Just a genuinely helpful gent and always willing to help. Charlie and his team were exceptional, knowledgeable and again friendly. Maria in the office was always a delight to deal with and chased up enquires super fast. A lovely touch was the flowers TLC sent us as congratulations for our newborn and it shows they care about their clients. TLC are excellent communicators and this is essential in a project of this scale I always found them responsive, no matter what they didn’t go AWOL.

Their work is top class and as they really are specialists in what they do. Everyone who sees our loft loves it. As in any large project the coordination of trades can be painful but TLC have a great relationship with their resource chain and always were reactive in chasing on the odd occasion there was no presence or trades/supply chain needed a chase.

Money wise I never had to to dispute the stage payments which were perfectly acceptable. There is complete transparency from the outset and Faye will contact you periodically to arrange payments. Also apart from any agreed additional works the contract value was spot on. This is very important and a testament to their expertise with delivering TLC to your home!

I don’t have another loft but have already recommended you to friends and family as I know they will be in good hands.

The loft converter is a fantastic building company, from the carpenters, electricians, plumbers and everyone involved are all good friends but equally great tradesmen. They have all come together for a one stop shop for any building work required on your home, from architects and surveyors you don’t need to individually source anything apart from telling them what you want done and they will simply tell you what will be done. they are reliable and friendly and will do everything they can to make you feel your getting what you are paying for.

As any building works, issues occur but they are on hand to help in anyway they can and keep things running smoothly. The job will get done, at a high standard and you know that your in good hands which makes you feel secure in the services they provide.

TLC or the loft converter, are a big company have all the right insurances and are professional, respectful and renowned for what they do. The team is unrivalled and will only get bigger and better.
