I left in my Apple Mac as the screen cracked. I went into the Apple service shop in Cork city centre where they quoted me a price and then told me it would be two weeks before I would get my laptop back. Went to TechStar which was recommended by a friend where the repair price was quite similar but the job would be done in two days. They kept me updated and my Mac came back to me like new within the two days. Lovely friendly service too. Definitely my number one choice for laptop and phone repairs.

This store is an absolute scam, the pricing they have on some items is crazy, saw a gpu in there that was double msrp for no reason. Also a desktop PC that was at least 400 overpriced for a prebuilt OEM system from ROG

Took over a week to deliver (still waiting), no answer from anyone and was ignored on 3 occasions.

Needed help with buying a laptop, staff at Techstar were excellent. Would highly recommend them to my friends.

TechStar are definitely the best company I have dealt with in relation to Laptops. From the moment I entered their premises I was treated with respect. They listened to what I told them about the issue with the laptop and made notes. At no time did they make me feel like they were the experts and what did I know about tech, which is what happened in Curry's where I purchased the laptop. They clearly explained the charges for doing a diagnostic test and assured me that no further work would be carried out without first consulting me. Couldn't recommend the two lads enough.

Overall experience with them was very good had a follow up and it was attended to at the shop when I returned immediately also the young girl in the douglas shop was extreamly helpful in relation to a couple of laptop questions I had in relation to a posible new purchase

Ordering device was easy however it didn’t arrive the next day as the site seemed to promise. I was able to go to a local store and by chance was able pick it up there instead - it was there waiting to be delivered.

Just what I needed, at a competitive price, and promptly delivered.

AVOID THIS PLACE. YOUR GOING TO REGRET Shopping here. Slow to repair, over charge. Got screen on iPhone fixed and now rear facing camera not working and apple wallet transmitter not functioning. Go anywhere else.
