I had two gestors before Borja, and they both disappeared on me. However, Borja has been the absolute best in terms of timeliness, communication, and knowledge. He helped me with a few processes outside of just my taxes and invoicing, and he always is around to answer my questions. I would highly recommend TaxFix, just beware of getting a great gestor!

Both my girlfriend and I had been Taxfix customers for 3 years and during that time, their accountants *didn't get one single declaration right*. I'm not exaggerating. It really would be incredible if it weren't so sad.

The amount of money Taxfix has cost us due to wrongly submitted forms and declarations has reached 4 digits now.

And the best thing: they never admit to making mistakes. If they submitted a declaration stating that 2 +2 = 5 and you pointed that out, they would insist that they're right and have done nothing wrong.

At first we thought, well, maybe we got the one bad accountant they have. But we've been through many of their accountants now and it's always been the same.

Stay away from them! They'll only cost you time, nerves, and money.

This is simply untrue. Every step of the way, I had informed their support about everything that was happening. They knew 100%. They had all the info.

That's very interesting to know, because I asked them to help me post-filing with the errors that they made and the notifications I had received, and they just claimed they couldn't help me with that because the tax advisor who screwed up everything wasn't working with them anymore. But that's in general what they do, always denying any responsibility and leaving the problems for you to solve.

To be precise about what the big scew-up was, btw: They submitted a wrong declaration for 2022 *without my approval* and 2.5 years later I'm still fighting to get that right. They have supported me 0% in the process, even though they knew everything.

Update 29.12.25:

I've adjusted my rating because Taxfix actually came forward, admitted they were wrong, and offered to help me finally resolve my predicament, which I happily accepted. It would have been nice if this had happened 2.5 years earlier, but well ... everything seems to be fixed now on that front. I still can't give more than 2 stars, because there's still some discussions to be had and it has been a very painful 2.5 years.

It is unbearable. I’m just so stressed and upset, I don’t understand how somebody can be so inattentive and irresponsible working as an accountant. And their support just stopped answering. They promised me to solve everything by today, but they didn’t. Finally, I get so frustrated so I canceled my subscription, even though I’ve been with them only for three months.

My case is easy, I have one income payment a month, and just a few expenses, yet the accountant Alejandro did not manage to do my Modelo 130 right. He made a mistake in the total sum of spendings, and even after I showed him what was wrong, he sent me back an incorrect declaration.
From the very first moment, I sent him precise messages stating where I did mistakes in my spendings, but it seems that he was just ignoring them, repeating those mistakes in the declaration.
I duplicated one expense because my bank account was linked, so I asked him to remove it multiple times, but he only got what I wanted on the third day. Then he deleted another factura that should not have been deleted. Then I had to ask him to unlock the spendings again because the system added IVA to Social Security payments, which was incorrect. And I had to ask for every of those small actions multiple times, so it took three days communicating, and my documents are not ready yet.
I had to read chats and online guide, I don’t understand why I have to do that if I paid for this service. I just started my autónomo, so I don’t know anything yet.
He also couldn’t explain why he put digits in the field 15 even though I did not have any negative results of my business in previous months.

It is almost a deadline, today was the last working day, everything must be applied by Monday, but nothing is prepared. I could do it worry-free myself using online guides.

Tomorrow, on Saturday, I will have to waste my day of learning about modelos and trying to apply them by myself because I do not trust them anymore. I asked them multiple times to change my accountant, they didn’t do anything.

Perfect every time. Although the NFR part is confusing because when you approve the declaration then you cannot see how much you should pay, it's hidden

Avoid at all costs, just don't even waste your time.

I subscribed to the initial 39.90€, but was told I needed to upgrade to the 59.90€ plan because I needed REBU arranged.

The advisor speaks to you once every 24hrs and doesn't give clear instructions. Started talking about a form that I needed to fill out, which I had already filled out on the onboarding stage, advisor name: Rafael - with the way they communicate very robotic and the fact it takes a minimum of 24hrs to get a one word or paragraph response, it will take me until Christmas to even get registered.

Live support is also useless, again lack of customer service just very robotic.

If I knew how to fill out the forms, I wouldn't be using TaxScouts - so asking me to fill out forms without telling me which forms they are or where to find them, doesn't really help. Complete waste of my time.

Would never recommend them, perhaps the .com firm is good, but the .es are useless.

I have had only positive experience with TaxScouts. Marta Peiró Jurado has helped me with all my questions and all documentation to start my autónomo in Spain. It is easy to send invoices and have an overview of your company at the web site and app. I am very thankful I found TaxScouts!

I had two experiences with TaxScouts so far, both of them positive. My declaration was anything but simple, and involved several models. Even though I started a month and a half before the deadline, it got stressful towards the end and we narrowly made the deadline just in time. A big thanks to the consultants that worked with me, they both worked weekend and long late hours to help me make the deadline.

My piece of advice: start early, and then manage the process well from the start. Ask early on which models you need to file. In my case, I found out that I need to file an additional model only days before its deadline. Ensure that you have all of the information available, and make sure you get a draft well in advance of the deadline, because it's crunch time for everyone involved as the deadlines approach. When there is still a lot of time, and your adviser may just leave things pending, manage the process and ask them to move earlier.
Definitely pay for the level of service where you can communicate directly with the adviser via WhatsApp or a phone call. TaxScouts unfortunately doesn't give its advisers access to any conferencing tools, so if you have Skype/Google Meet/Teams/Zoom, clarify if your adviser is able and willing to hop on a call that you set up so that you can look at some of the docs together, if required.

Again... My declaration was large and complex, and it was stressful, but I can't thank the advisers enough, they really pulled all the stops out and made everything work.

I've been using TaxScouts for a year now, and I'm extremely satisfied with their service. My accountant, Borja, has been fantastic – very knowledgeable, responsive, and professional. He has made the entire tax process so much easier and stress-free. The customer service is also excellent; they are always very helpful and quick to respond to any queries. I highly recommend TaxScouts, especially if you're looking for a reliable and efficient way to manage your taxes in Spain.

The advisor don't answer to messages, even if following up several times. He just dismisses you. You can reach him by phone only ONCE. Customer Service by chat is amazing, but poor attention of accountant makes an overall bad experience. Unsure If I'll repeat next year, probably try TaxDown next time.

I had a disappointing experience with TaxScouts that resulted in me incurring a late tax payment fee due to their mishandling. Despite this being their fault, the company refused to take accountability. Initially, I was assigned an accountant who lacked fluency in English, leading to significant miscommunication and confusion about invoicing rules and eligible documents for tax purposes. After weeks of frustration, I switched to another accountant within the company, only to discover my tax payment was overdue.

The previous accountant failed to provide clear instructions on how and when to pay my taxes, even though I had uploaded all required documents by the deadline they communicated. TaxScouts blamed me for the delay, despite their own inconsistencies in communication and deadlines. Their refusal to address these issues highlights a lack of professionalism and reliability.

Instead of alleviating stress, TaxScouts made the process unnecessarily difficult. I have since found a more competent and cost-effective accountant elsewhere.

I’ve been using TaxScout, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with their service. They’ve made the whole tax process so much easier and stress-free for me.
