Kornati islands were beautiful, the Adriatic is crystal clear, and our guides were amazing! I highly recommend this trip.

Outstanding guides, thoughtfully planned days with wonderful food made our many swims very fun. Jason provided a calm guidance and brought enthusiasm that was infectious, while also keeping everyone safe. Not only was Hamish very fun to be around, he added a real effective level of service and kindness to the work.

Best swimtrek so far! Our guides, Jason and Hamish, were amazing and provided so much information for us to enjoy our trip outside Swimtrek as well. I really like how much they used WhatsApp to keep us informed of our daily trips, restaurants, daily log of our swims, pictures, etc…such a fun trip!

Another brilliant trip with Swim Trek. Ali and Christine were amazing guides. The hotel was fabulous, food delicious, scenery stunning and swims varied and enjoyable. I’d highly recommend the Montenegro Fjords trip, in fact any trip with Swim Trek. I’m already planning my next!

Swim Treks are magical! They have the right balance of excellent safety, challenge, researched locations, amazing and kind staff leaders, quality experiences with likeminded people. I love them! It’s also the ideal holiday for someone wanting to travel alone as you are welcomed and included yet have time for yourself and you don’t feel like you are on a “ organised trip”. The crew are very experienced and genuinely love what they do. The people you meet are as great as the swimming!

Our trip to Karnati National Park in Croatia was just great! The Adriatic was beautiful and the water was perfect. Our guides, Jason and Hamish, did a fantastic job of leading us on amazing swims and keeping us safe! They were very adept at managing the group and providing us with great leadership. I was more than pleased with the trip and look forward to another Swimtrek adventure.

Just phenomenal. An incredible experience from beginning to end. Wonderful swimming, fabulous group, lovely location, fantastic guides and great choice of restaurants and cafés. And underneath everything you can see, it is clearly meticulously planned and executed, and with safety threaded through every element. Hard to fault in any way at all. The swim camp experience was elevated immeasurably by the world-class coaching of Andy and Marianne, a truly exceptional team. Their compelling blend of warmth, kindness, and deep technical knowledge not only delivered an unforgettable experience but equipped me with vital, long-term training insights. To maximize the return on this expertise and the unique destination, I allow myself to suggest a critical program enhancement: dedicating Day 4 and Day 5 entirely to ocean swimming, replacing the pool session. This change is essential because the true value lies in using the final days to foster skill integration, build ocean confidence, and practice real-world endurance in a dynamic environment. While logistically challenging, prioritising open water will transform the camp from excellent to truly unparalleled, delivering the peak experience participants seek.

Third trip in three years. SwimTrek has proven excellent on all three. Well planned, great info, super staff on the ground and in head office. Other swimmers always interesting, friendly and supportive. In groups, couples or solo everyone is included and has a good time. Could not be more impressed.

Only problem is that once you have done one, you can’t imagine a year without another.

Absolutely loved the swims, the coaches and the group

This is my second SwimTrek. The Kornati Islands SwimTrek, with Hamish and Jason as guides, was exceptional! Both guides were so attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone had a fantastic swim vacation. Each swim was carefully planned by Jason and Hamish, based on winds, rain, size of waves, etc., so we had beautiful calm waters to swim each outing. The islands were picturesque and clean, the boats we traveled on were spacious and comfortable for the group. It was a most memorable trip! Thinking about a 3rd SwimTrek in the Adriatic now!

We had a great trip to Kornati with Jason and Hamish. Jason went above and beyond in taking care of details big and small. He was calm and supportive throughout. Hamish brought a positive energy and enthusiasm to the group. The swims were beautiful, and Jason, Hamish, and the boat crew made adjustments as needed to keep us in calmer waters as the weather changed.

I've been on four SwimTreks so far. I found out about them through word of mouth (other swimmers in my club back home) and am hooked. They are such glorious holidays--nothing to think about except swimming, eating and sun cream. There's always a lovely vibe amongst the swimmers on the boat, but there's also enough space to go off and do your own thing in the evenings if you want. I also like that you get to see beautiful, unspoilt, often quieter stretches of coastline with less boat traffic. Exercise-wise, the vibe is like a walking trip--ie it's active and challenging, but you're looking at the scenery along the way and stopping for breaks. It's not a training session, an event or a race. Love these trips and will definitely be back!
