Bad experience and customer service not great

I don’t usually write reviews of this nature but after my comments about my negative experience on social media were deleted, I don’t feel it’s fair that this company isn’t transparent to its customers.
I will be fair and say I have had multiple orders in the past that I cannot fault which were delivered quickly by Royal Mail.
My most recent order was on 3rd June for a Father’s Day gift. It was processed on 5th June and was due to be delivered by evri. The tracking number said it was out for delivery on 6th but it never arrived and hasn’t been updated since. I heard nothing for 2 weeks so I contacted sweetzy who said they will chase it up but I was told I had to wait a further 5 days. It’s now way past Father’s Day and I’m still waiting. I must say with it being consumables, I wouldn’t want to eat them if they were to turn up after all this time anyway. I feel they could have sent a replacement order sooner a so have tracking info that proves it got lost on 6th June. Not the best customer service

Disappointing

I have used this company multiple times over the last few years and never had an issue until my last order. The bag of sweets I ordered for Father’s Day arrived and the sweets inside were melted and sticky ruining the bag. I reached out to the customer service team
Who apologised and offered a refund of £0.70 for a £15.00 bag of ruined sweets. When I informed them I didn’t think this was a sufficient enough refund considering what I paid. They have now stopped responding to my emails. As I said I order from this company multiple times a year including purchasing advent calendars from them and have never had a issue but it’s a shame that the first one I do have they aren’t very helpful in resolving.

Great sweets, poor service!

Great products and have made several orders over the years.
However, when a large Father’s Day order was made by me, the parcel was stolen and the company couldn’t care less.
Very upsetting and will no longer order from here.

Poor quality sweets

Bought a bag of sweets, delivery was quick and we were given a free gift too which is lovely.
However, as someone who ran a sweet shop, the sweets are not the best quality. Foam bananas, cola bottles and many other, are not the usual texture, they’re the cheap version of the sweets which is disappointing. When you order sweets through a whole sales, you can buy cheaper versions (kingsway and Vidal brands for example) of the classics but they’re just not the same and so, we’re disappointed by them. I understand that this makes selling them cheaply but I’d rather a better quality and pay a little more.

Usually we are a big fan of Sweetzy

Usually we are a big fan of Sweetzy, always had fast delivery and a tasty range of sweets. But this time ordering, we had to chase up the delivery - we purchased on a bank holiday weekend after we saw that they advertised fast delivery (FAQ said it should be processed on the Tuesday) but by Thursday we had no update. Once chased the order suddenly was processed and en route.

Once we received the order we were a bit disappointed to discover that we only had one of the sweets we had chosen. After contacting the customer service we were told that this is down to other sweets being over the 50g limit and therefore they lower the 50g limit on other sweets in the bag. We completely understand this, but it would make more sense to take it off lots of smaller/lighter sweets than the bigger sweets they offer.

We usually always go to Sweetzy without question, but I think next time we might look around elsewhere to compare, which is quite sad as we do love their range of sweets and deals.

Not what i expected in sizes

Arrived pouches well sealed .
The sweets are alot smaller then use to be or orignal it's a bonus I suppose as u then get more in a bag but I found alot tasteless . The liquich ones and bananas are only ones I can taste milk bottles have no taste etc jelly babies are so small . For the price I would expect better but it is what it's is . I wouldn't jump at ordering again . Delivery took approx a week nearly to come etc

I ordered gifts for a friend and then…

I ordered gifts for a friend and then the Valentine’s Day box for my partner, only for it to arrive completely spilt open! This wasn’t an issue as I sent an email and a new box was sent out (only after I sent the broken one back!) at this point the order was late for the gifts anyway, when the new box arrived, half the Valentine’s Day stuff was missing!! So it wouldn’t arrive in time by this point anyway, so I was refunded…not for my whole order or even half! I was refunded £2 something for the only item missing, nothing for the inconvenience! Once is an honest mistake but at this point I just gave up trying to email back and forth!

Shocking customer service.

Shocking customer service.
Ordered a may box as a birthday present and paid for next day delivery.
No tracking was sent until the courier updated at the hub at 8:41 in the morning on the day of expected delivery.

Reached out immediately before 9am and William replied saying that it was at the hub so delivery was expected same day still (shocking that they don’t know the difference between a hub and a depot!)

Anyhow, as I told them at 9am, the goods were not delivered and the tracking never updated.
3 further emails, all ignored and a clear refusal to contact the courier to find out why they had messed up.

Will now have to delay birthday plans for a child and hope the delivery turns up early in the day tomorrow.

Will be expecting a FULL refund even after delivery is made because the service has been shocking and when I pay for NEXT DAY, I expect NEXT DAY

Used Sweetzy countless times and always recommended them to my friends and family.

NEVER AGAIN.

Below standard customer service

Ordered the OhMyGosh bundle as a birthday present. It arrived repackaged by Evri as the original packaging had split. Sweetzy packaged 5kg of sweets in flimsy brown paper. One of the pouches was split open and sweets had spilled out also some of the paperwork was missing. Sweetzy offered me a 50% refund which turned out to be just for the pouch. I pointed out to them that under the Consumer Rights act 2015 I was entitled to a 100% refund - they failed to reply - blocked my email and also blocked me on Facebook. Having read other reviews other customers have also been ignored and blocked Appalling customer service from William and he is the owner!

to deliver to my home, got confirmation for collection..emailed 3times..also contact thru there page few time..no answer..nothing..so bad..have one very upset 9years old that spend his birthday money on sweets he saw on tiktok that prob will never arrive

Top quality sweets!!

Top quality sweets that taste delicious! I love the vast selection of sweets they have to choose from, including vegetarian & vegan options. Reasonably priced. Delivery was very quick. I can tell my pick & mix was packed with care and the packaging is great, resealable to keep sweets fresh and also recyclable. I definitely recommend this company if you’re looking for a tasty pick & mix at an affordable price!!

Unhappy customer

I have used sweetsy for a while now and always been happy. However when we moved to a new build bungalow it was a different story. I spent 40 pounds on sweets for easter for easter fun with the grandchildren. I have been very ill and thought a nice treat. However the order was delayed due to Evri saying they can't find address and instead of contacting me as they could and other delivery company's had after nearly 3 weeks they sent it back to sweetzy. All this time I contacted customer services who said we dealing with it.then yesterday they said they had received it and when I pay postage again they will send them back out. So I would be receiving sweets that have sat God knows where. So I asked for a refund. And all I got from sweetzy sorry you're upset. So no i won't use again.

Amazing

Ordered, wasn't hoping for much as I saw advert on tiktok but jesus christ it's all amazing. Tastes excellent and considering I ordered last night I would assume given bank holiday it wouldn't arrive until next week yet it came this morning ! Faster than amazon next day! Definitely will be ordering again and have told all my family
