Terrible service from an untrustworthy company

Terrible customer service! I believe they lie when they tell you they have contacted the couriers.
Attempted delivery to the wrong address the resident handed it back to the driver who marked it as delivered.
Refused to look into it, no apology.
No customer service skills, no effort to help their customers, entitled mindless fools. Seems to be a regular occurrence to tell customers not our fault there’s nothing we can do! And get to keep our money!
UPDATE
William at sweetyz stated that order was delivered they contacted Evri who confirmed order was delivered. I contacted Evri myself they confirmed that the order was returned to sender. So I was lied to by William! They refused to give a full refund even though the order was delivered to the wrong address!! Absolutely shocking service from an untrustworthy company!

Still hasn't been dispatched after 4 days of being ordered!

Made a order 4 days ago (on a monday and now its friday) and still not been dispatched despite their advertising of "super fast dispatch as standard" what a load of rubbish that is. Emailed them and they said my order " should " be dispatched in the next couple of days. Not that they will sort it... just hoping. What a rubbish service!!! Quick enough to take your money!!! WILL NOT ORDER FROM THEM DEFINITELY NOT "SUPER FAST DELIVERY " as they preach!!! Avoid!!!!!!!!!!

Patronising customer care

I made an order on the Saturday wanted it delivered on the Monday. They didn't deliver till Tuesday even though I paid for "next working day delivery" when I queried with their customer care they said they don't dispatch over the weekend and wouldn't be refunding my delivery charge. This isn't what got them the one star review though, when talking to their customer care team I have had nothing but defensive and patronising responses from them. I probably would have shopped their again but knowing this is who you deal with when you have a problem has completely put me off

Poor quality control + customer service

Second time now I’ve had an issue with Sweetzy and this one takes the cake. Back in November I never received my advent calendar and they never resent another, the customer was pretty bad. I thought maybe it’s a one off. But months later, I realised I had points to use so I ordered a customised sweet jar with lettering on it. Of course they completely messed up the lettering and wrote something ridiculous on the jar. It’s very very easy to tell there is no quality control. If they had checked the jar the would’ve noticed the very obvious mistake. It looks horrific and I cannot give this as a gift. It’s a joke. Their customer service response times aren’t great and this is a time sensitive issue. I’m not really confident they will care about resolving the matter quickly based on the fact that they clearly don’t care much about customer satisfaction or quality control. Very disappointing, gutted once again. This is the second time I’ve ordered a gift for my brother and the second time they’ve messed it up…. Fantastic…..

Another Evri nightmare

Shock horror the bad reviews are mainly about one thing. Evri.

Same issue. Paid for 24 hour delivery, and 3 days later, it's still not even been dispatched. A mother's day gift will no longer be necessary as I have to make other arrangements. Refunding my delivery fee dosen't cut it now, especially when they're just ignoring people and continue to use the same unreliable delivery partner.

Don't risk it, go elsewhere.

Subscription Sweet box

Ordered the subscription Sweet box, only after paying the company used my postcode as incorrect address. instantly changed it and emailed sweetzy in minutes. (No reply).

2 days later Evri received my delivery, only for this to be delivered to incorrect address. Contacted Sweetzy and asked what's happening (No response). Parcel was delivered to incorrect address, so again contacted sweetzy and again no response. Horrendous Customer Service

Use Evri as their delivery partner

Use Evri as their delivery partner. Need i say more?! Still waiting 3 days later for my delivery after paying for a 24hrs service. Evri are shocking to deal with. Can't tell me anything about my parcel or when/if it will be delivered. Crazy that any company these days even use Evri as I've never had a good experience with them. Wont use again until they move away from Evri.

Received a bag from my sister as a…

Received a bag from my sister as a Christmas gift. I have bought from here before after being impressed with the quality and experience. This bag is drastically different. The quality is very poor. To give an idea, they are miles off Haribo in quality for sweets that look similar although the quality is also visibly different. Hard sweets with poor texture and limited taste. Unfortunately they will be going in the bin.

I order the Valentine’s Day mystery…

I order the Valentine’s Day mystery bundle which was supposed to have products exceeding £60 however it had 1kg of pic n mix & 1kg knock off haribo, a broken box, dented tin and a glass jar. Disappointing, not even close to the £60 value advertised.

Still waiting for my order

Still waiting for my order. Everi apparently has it but can’t deliver it because it’s to large (only orders a 1 kg bag). Customer service is shocking. Haven’t heard a thing. Avoid.

Edit: finally got a reply. Basically saying not their fault. Not even an apology! Going to have to go through bank for a refund. Avoid like the plague!!!!

Beware

Beware! I fell into the influencer celeb trend via instagram … do not be fooled. Very very cheap tasting unbranded sweets none of them are mixed properly in the bag. Customer service is non existant I am still waiting on a reply 18 days later… no delivery updates or anything and did take a long while to dispatch… strange. Would not order again massive gimmick and you do get what you pay for rubbish

Should’ve read the reviews…

Lesson learned, don’t fall for the shiny social media adverts. And if you do, check the Trustpilot reviews first!

I placed an order after seeing adverts on social media and they had a deal on their website, but unfortunately it’s a bit too good to be true. The order was dispatched relatively quickly, but on delivery (Evri) the box was crushed. In addition, the box wasn’t the nicely branded, sturdy looking ones you see online, just a cheap brown box.
As soon as I opened the box, it was clear to see that the whole thing had been crushed and the plastic lid to the sweet bowl I’d ordered had shattered. To add, again, the bowl wasn’t the nice branded one you see online, just a plain unbranded one, carelessly taped together.

I contacted customer services to explain that the parcel was damaged and the plastic shards had gone into one of the bowls of sweets, so I wasn’t happy to eat them, whilst trying to fish out small pieces of sharp plastic.
The response was that I could keep them with a 40% discount, or send them back for an exchange. How odd, to ask me to send back an open pack of sweets. However I’ve since read other reviews on here that say the same. I found this very odd, from a food hygiene perspective… what could they possibly want to do with the sweets they’d sent to me? Surely not put them back into circulation for other orders, or just re-box them and send them back to me?

I have instead sent both bowls back and requested a full refund - I don’t want to eat anything from a company that’s asking customers to send open packages of food back.
I guess I’ll just wait and see if my request for a refund is granted and if not, I’ll contact my payment provider instead.

Tread carefully with this one.

Ok but not the best

The website is really easy to use, the price was good and delivery was prompt. However, the quality of the sweets provided was quite poor. I didn't really like most of the sweets - not the style of the sweets I chose but the taste was quite bad and to me tasted like very cheap sweets rather than quality sweets like Haribo or Swizzles. For that reason, I wouldn't purchase again.

Quality has gone downhill drastically

I've ordered Several l times, other than delivery delays, I've never had an issue. This time, I ordered a 1kg bag of pick your own & a 5 small bags selection of ready picked. These were all awful. I've literally thrown the lot in the bin. Half the 1kg bag wasn't anything I'd picked and every was covered in salty sour powder. Needless to say, I won't ordering again. They're quality has gone downhill drastically. Just awful.

Great value for money

Great value for money with a discount code. Over 2kg of sweets for less than £20. Evri delivery was late but Sweetzy customer service were very helpful.

Only criticism is with the sweets themselves. Some sweet types, especially the fizzy ones, tasted very similar so I didn't feel there was much variety in my pick n mix bag despite choosing all different sweets. I also had the odd sweet or two in the pick n mix bag that I didn't choose. I didn't mind but this wouldn't be ideal for people with allergies.
