My experience with Strata has been excellent. Bethany Harris is the best 🥰🥰🥰. She was so patient and helpful. Initially I was going to try shared ownership and she said why not try full ownership. I was told today by an employee of Strata that they only have 3 people in their customer services department serving every development. Plus, their complaints department will not take phone calls.
One of many issues I've had with this builder....I tried painting the interior of my house and their paint peeled off. I have been accused that the reason this has happened was because the walls were wet. This simply isn't true, it's because they didn't primer the walls properly. Their investigation into this never involved a visit. They just theorised. 2 years in my house with paint peeling off the walls. I'm fuming!!!

After three years still finding problems
So three years in our home. And what we not found after we have decided to new fridge…. While building kitchen probably 3 years ago fitters managed to damage the fridge and of course we found out it had been leaking all over wall and cause damage of wall. Covered wiring really badly on wall and still whole in wall as not managed to cover up all properly? And plugged fridges was in extension thrown under unit and not on wall?? We are planning to do new kitchen this year and I am already frightened what kind of damage we find this time. We have new build property and it’s in absolutely horrific condition and it should not be! And it’s only due negligence of people which been building it. I thought nothing can’t be that bad like our issue with leak in patio door but no… you still surprised me..

We're very happy with our Strata home at Desire in Leeds - both with the finishes and the service we received. Natalie was very welcoming from our first visit to the sales office and helped us with all our first-time buyer questions. We had a few minor snagging issues upon moving in, which Sean from the site team had fixed within a week of reporting. Great customer service!

Staff entirely lacking in honesty, integrity or probity
There is a reason more than 1 in 4 Strata customers on this site are submitting the lowest possible star value and that proportion of customers is growing. It isn't only about their build quality and contractor competence - which are poor. But about the way Strata's office team treat their customers from the second a deposit is paid onwards. I might have thought it was just me without reading all the accounts from others - you will see there is a pattern, it is very consistent. It must reflect the company attitude and culture top to bottom or the staff in question wouldn't keep their jobs - they wouldn't last five minutes in other organisations.
