Not of the quality I’d imagined from Sterling unfortunately
The suite I bought is not of the quality I’d expect for the amount of money I paid for it.
The lining at the bottom is of a plastic material that feels quite cheap, other suites I’ve had through the years has has a material lining.
The colour we chose is not the same as the sample that was sent out.
There was a flaw on the seating area,
I had to take a day off work for the upholsterer to come and fix it as they couldn’t give me a specific time until the day that was arranged!
Wouldn’t use Sterling again.

The staff are so helpful and nothing is a bother to them. Gerry gave a lot of information regarding the sofa and chair I picked and Steven in carpets was good showing me all the different samples etc.

Excellent service
Michael the Sales Manager is our go to, we really trust him as he is so knowledgeable and he is super helpful when it comes to making the right decisions, your never rushed or pushed towards a particular brand he also has a very welcoming and friendly approach. There’s nowhere else that offers the same level of customer service, although personally I prefer the old layout in the stores, please don’t make my more ‘big’ changes in-store as it’s already lost some of its signature & much loved ‘Sterling’ look.

Excellent service from Elaine at Tillicoultry
We recently visited the Tillicoultry store to look at sofas and ended up purchasing a Himolla suite. I have to say that Elaine was absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process.
She was extremely knowledgeable about the Himolla range and clearly knew the products inside and out. We had a lot of questions, particularly around the different options and specifications, and Elaine was able to answer everything clearly and patiently. When she didn't have an immediate answer, she went the extra mile to find out for us by contacting the rep or the factory.
What really stood out was her approach to selling. She was friendly and helpful without ever being pushy. She seemed to know exactly when to leave us alone to discuss things and when to step in and offer advice or information. That made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable rather than feeling like we were being pressured into a purchase.
Elaine is exactly the sort of salesperson you want when making a significant purchase. Her knowledge, patience and genuine willingness to help made a real difference to our experience.
A big thank you to Elaine and the team at the Tillicoultry store. We would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Just told 2 months delay for delivery. Not happy.
Furniture ordered supposed to arrive in mid- late August, just had an email to say it will now be well into October before possible delivery. Very disappointing.

Excellent sales attendant
We were at Sterlings mid afternoon on 12th August. The shop was quiet and we were there to purchase 2 new beds.
Our assistant Evija Rube was first class. Knowledgeable about the products, had excellent customer service, allowed us time to decide between options and gave us great suggestions. We can honestly say she has probably been one of the best sales assistants we’ve ever had and it made our purchase a pleasurable experience.
