The process of buying a couple of new sofas went fine.
Its the additional information that was poor.
We asked if Sterling took away our existing sofas and was told no but Sterling have a relationship with Clearabee - a link is on your website. We were told it would cost around £60. Clearabee told us it would be over £180
We told to give Clearabee our Sterling sales number and they would coordinate when to take away our current sofas when our new sofas are delivered. Clearabee told us that they dont do this. We have to select a specific day and then change it once Sterling give us a delivery date. Thats isnt my defination of a coordinated approach!
If your salemen are giving customers information about your relationship with Clearabee, at least have the good grace to give accurate information

Gentleman that served us was very helpful and not pushy.
Lost a star due to high delivery charge even for short distance.

We enjoyed a relaxed visit knowing what we wanted to purchase-and having decided we were then looked after-with no pressure by one of the staff.
All details were discusded including who would put the chairs together-and they arrived early and as timed by the delivery company.
A very satisfactory experience.

Great experience in store. The staff really helped me put together my bespoke chairs. They took time, showed me all the fabrics, colours and materials to make my chairs my own. Would highly recommend this store.

Exceptional service on all fronts from both both Angus and David (with the beard) at Sterling Furniture, Kinnaird Park. These guys are the people to deal with — their product knowledge and genuine customer care is second to none, ultimately the reason I walked away a very happy paying customer. Thanks again gents.

Great service from friendly and knowledgeable staff, plus Suzanne, Chloe and Dave stayed after closing time to finalise a complex set of purchases. Very impressed.

Pleased with kitchen flooring and most of the customer service. Clive was very helpful and understanding.
We initially chose flooring which when it arrived had an overall green look. We wanted a replacement which was eventually upheld but had to pay
extra for returning the flooring £500 which
still seems ridiculous. The fitter Stevie was great.

The boys were punctual, efficient and even hoovered up most of the excess carpet! As an added bonus, one of them helped me move some furniture back into the room before they left.

We bought flooring from Sterling about a year ago. They came to inspect the floor prior to fitting, they fitted the subfloor after lifting the existing carpet and they recommended then fitted a vinyl tile. This cost over £6,000. We believed they were a company we could trust. In the past year the floor has cracked, separated in places, chipped and generally been a nightmare. Their fitters think the whole thing needs replaced. I’ve exchanged in excess of 100 emails and yet I still can’t get a full refund. I’m worn out, have an elderly relative here and really just want this to end so I can start again with a company who can do the job properly. This has been an endless nightmare and, while they seem to offer solutions, it’s never what suits the customer, who is the one who has suffered from their absolute incompetence so, if you don’t want to live a life of regret, do not go near Sterling. Beyond exhausted. I can’t see a place to attach photos so that’s a shame but think cracks, splits, poor finishes, raised section…
I’ll keep you posted but, still heard nothing! Clearly their customers are irrelevant! Just really low. It grinds you down. I’m assuming that’s their intention. They’re a giant company with all the power. The customer is a minion. Powerless. ☹️

As a longtime customer of originally Martin and Frost Tillicoultry before that I knew I’d be sure to find the sofa I’d been thinking of. It was first port of call. David looked after us very well explaining all we needed to make the right choice. Decision made he and store manager Susan completed the sale and we look forward to delivery of our beautiful Danetti sofa in a matter of days
