low limits and bet repeatedly being rejected

So opened up a account to find that I must had opened one up a long time ago but didnt use, see very low deposit limits which wasnt a problem for today as wanted to bet small on a horse race, made a deposit by bank transfer and it dropped into the account, tried to place the bet on the horse kept on being rejected regardless of size, as luck happens it comes in (not a major problem as placed a bet elsewhere too) , so I made a withdrawel of my deposited funds which landed back after a few min and have given instructions to close my account, worryingly when I requested the withdrawel noticed there is a option to cancel, Im sure under UKGC rules this is not allowed ? Plenty of other sport bookmakers out there

Promotions immediately removed.

As others have said, they almost immediately send you an email after sign-up saying they're withdrawing your rights to promotions with no explanation of why.

Also, despite offering slightly better odds than some, presumably to lure new customers, their cash out value for a bet with them vs the same bet with a more legitimate online betting company was also crazy.

AVOID….. Lure you in with the welcome offer then…

Lure you in with the welcome offer then refuse to give you any promotions. Get email in junk mail after reviewing account for business purposes you’re not eligible for any offers. Glad my perfectly legitimate deposit and stake won took money and ran! Worst Gambling site ever thieving scum.

Can you explain why I have received a message saying I'm not eligible for promotions?
I have opened a new account and get this message! Very unprofessional to say the least.

Hi Brian,
All accounts are reviewed when opened and yours was deemed not eligible, this is just a business decision I'm afraid. Apologies for any inconvenience caused here.

Denied account creation

All account details were correct and over 18 but would not let me open an account and when I asked them why in the live chat they replied with “Simply a business decision made following a review of the application”

Pathetic

Pathetic, useless individuals
I opened an account in November 2024. I deposited £12. I have not used the account until today when I access my details and log into the account. I see sporting index have set a deposit limit of £50 per week without even consulting me about it
You’re a bunch of pathetic lowlife individuals I’ve closed the account and considering you only have a review score of 1.5 on this website. It just goes to show
You think you can do whatever you want.
You won’t last very long. The gambling commission will put its hand up your ass and pull your spine out.

Confusing

This company's business strategy is somewhat puzzling. I was offered some good sign up offers, so I signed up. Deposited £20 and got some of the free bets offered ok - but not all of them - all lost, but no complaints there. I then went to make a bet with my remaining balance and was told that I wasn't set up for online betting! I'll just stick to the exchanges from now on, who needs these weird outfits!

100% a scam

100% a scam. Signed up as they had a decent welcome bonus and had seen the ranked in the top 10 right now. After depositing my account said I wasn’t set up to bet (what even is that on a betting site). I have the withdrew my money but haven’t received it and now can’t even log back into the account. To add to this, in order to resolve the issue they want me to send them a photo of the back of my back card, 3 months bank statements and a copy of my passport. This place is the biggest scam going avoid they are just trying to steal from you.

Demanding emails

been a customer for over 20 years. They have recently started sending emails that my account is overdue, even though I am no where near my credit limit.
Have complained before, and they just make the excuse of the emails are automatic computer ones. Well maybe get the robot who can't think for themselves to judge each case as an individual.
Have got tired of trying to reason with these people, so have told them they'll receive a poor review on here every time I receive one of their demanding emails.
I'm 60+ not 6 years old, so am capable of managing my own finances without their interferences.

now not to overreact but i literally just made the account what could i of done within that 30 second timeframe for them to decide "this guy clearly is a threat to our betting site"

overall waste of time thanks for that

Don’t waste your time opening an account. They stop you using the site at random times claiming max stake limit without any justification. Many more betting sites available with a better service.

Scam Bookmaker

Same as everyone else is saying. Signed up, placed my first bet, and then they said that they would not honour the welcome offer. Gave no reason apart from telling me that I'd done 'nothing wrong'?

Here is a copy of the chat that I had with one of their agents:

15:19:05) *** Dougal joined the chat ***
(15:19:05) Dougal: Hi. I joined the site yesterday and placed my first bet. I have logged back in today expecting to receive the welcome offer free bets but cannot see them anywhere? Could you let me know what is happening please? Thanks, Dougal.
(15:19:15) Rudi : Hi Dougal
(15:19:20) Dougal: Hi
(15:19:20) Rudi : Please could you confirm your username or account number?
(15:19:57) Dougal: DoJa42 BA6145Z
(15:21:41) Rudi : Unfortunately we sent you an email upon creating the account, informing you that you would not be eligible for the sign-up offer or any other promotions moving forwards
(15:22:22) Rudi : This was a decision taken after a marketing review by our accounts team, apologies for any disappointment.
(15:22:55) Dougal: Yes, I saw that, which I didn't understand? But it also stated that you would honour any promotions that I had already started so I was still expecting to receive the welcome offer?
(15:23:37) Rudi : The email was sent at 13:33, your bet was placed at 13:36. So you were informed about this prior to placing the bet
(15:24:02) Dougal: So, was there any reason for this?
(15:24:25) Rudi : This would just be a business decision after a review by our marketing team
(15:24:39) Dougal: What does that mean? Did I do something wrong?
(15:25:58) Rudi : You did not do anything 'wrong', this would just go down as a trading decision. I can not elaborate anymore than that I'm afraid.

(15:26:53) Dougal: Seems like a bit of a blag to get people to sign up and then not follow through with the offer? But okay, not to worry, thanks for your help.
(15:28:04) Rudi : Sorry about this Dougal, have a good afternoon and thanks for contacting us
(15:28:15) Dougal: Could I get you to e-mail me a copy of this chat thread please?
(15:28:27) Rudi : Sure, I will do this as soon as the chat ends.
(15:28:32) Dougal: Great thanks.

They have a confusing website that lets you go in to debt, I placed a £10 bet at what I thought was 2.4 odds and it turned in to a negative balance of £230, I called within a minute if the incorrect bet being placed and they say there is nothing they will do and I have to clear the negative balance up. I have a deposit limit of £10 for sporting index and they have told me the deposit limit doesn't apply to spread betting and I need to clear the balance, seems like a scam to me and customer services were a joke, no empathy or an ounce of decency, avoid at all costs

AVOID AVOID AVOID

So my husband normally uses sky bet and came across this website ! Unlucky for him he never read this reviews and what he thought was a £20 bet turned into £180 ! Within minutes of not realising why and so confused on what had happened, he immediately stopped the bet. Contacted customer service! They were rude and unhelpful and a waste of time, and for the privilege of coming across this rip off company we are now at a £180 loss for a bet he didn’t even continue with and should have only cost £20.
Website very confusing and misleading, I will be notifying watchdog and speaking to my bank .
