Purchased Jelotong wood for carving as it is supposed to carve as easily as Basswood whereas in reality it’s like trying to carve a brick and seems to harden the more it is worked. Won’t buy again.

When I got an order wrong they immediately corrected it.
Can not fault the quick helpful and friendly response.
Would use them again and definitely recommend!

You know how good a company is when there is an issue with your delivery and have to contact customer service. On this occasion Astra at customer service was very apologetic and sorted out my issue straight away the day I contacted the with my issue and sent out a missing item from my order with next day delivery. I couldn’t ask for anything better than the service I received thank you.

I placed my online order on a Sunday morning and received it on the Tuesday (using the free delivery option). No issues with any of the items I ordered and super quick delivery. For me, a really positive experience all round :)

I've been using your galway outlet,everytime I ordered out of stock !
They gave me my money back and when the ply came in they would give it me free of charge which they did.ordered again same thing it would be in stock within a week.Two weeks went bye no product or communication.complained again wa
s told not in stock yet it's out of there control,well yes I can accept not there control but not to leave the customer in the lurch for the second time,they did say they would issue a full refund that was three weeks ago and still waiting,It 50euro I'm a one man small business trying to make a bit of extra cash.but its companys like you are destroying us due to your incompetence im having to go through PayPal to get my money back.i gave you one star couldnt Give less I would not recommend anyone to buy anything from specialist crafts based on my experience with there Galway site

Impressed with the products and the Support team Lauren & Iwona. There were a couple of minor issues that the Support team got cleared up very quickly without a problem.

Would be great if the website showed the status of your order (pending, dispatched etc) instead of just ‘processing’ but that’s just a minor thing.
