We made our first purchase of motorised Duette honeycomb-style blinds 5 years ago in our south facing extension. They still look lovely and we were so impressed with their cooling properties in the summer and their insulating properties in the winter that we added the same to the main front window two years later. In January of this year, we added three further blinds upstairs. High praise, indeed.

They are not cheap but, as home improvements go, they make a difference every day in whatever season. Supported in no small part, in my view, by great staff. Five years - same Sales Advisor (Colin) and same fitter (Andy). That actually says an awful lot. These people know their stuff - knowledgeable, professional and no pressure. Nice people who seem to care about doing a first-class job. And, on the odd occasion when I have needed their customer service, same high standards. No hesitation in giving them my highest recommendation.

The guy who fitted my blinds had the worse attitude ever and was rude.

Specialist Blinds offer a superb service! The initial visit to discuss the options was done with great professionalism by someone who clearly had a great deal of knowledge about the options for fulfilling our needs for blinds in a new glass extension. The survey and installation by Jack was done with equally high levels of professionalism, care and skill.

Meant to leave this review last year. I had electric blinds done on sliding kitchen doors. They were installed as 3 separate blinds as a large area. However, there is a massive gap between two of them which miss the aluminium post and so anyone outside can see straight in and we can see the garden clearly. Not private and secure as was the idea of having them.

The salesman was very polite, not at all pushy, we were happy with the quote so went ahead. The surveyor/ installer was also very polite and very knowledgeable. The installation was mess free and very quick, we were very pleased with the whole process and would highly recommend.

Customer service excellent, everything was as promised - time wise. Quality of product excellent. Would highly recommend

We recently bought a new build house with large, double height curtain wall windows at the front. We were looking for a specialist blind company to do a good job and Specialist Blinds were true to their name. The service has been really good from the first contact and subsequent visit from local rep Greg, who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He passed over to Rob our fitter who was brilliant. He did a pre-order survey and came back to do a great job fitting the blinds. We received informed advice throughout and the product is high quality and works brilliantly. Based on our experience, we would definitely recommend Specialist Blinds.

Good communication from start to finish. Very helpful salesman who showed us all the options we could have for our bi-folds and wasn't pushy. The fitting process was smooth and relatively quick and the blinds look amazing and really keep in the warmth. Overall very happy and would highly recommend.

We had twenty blinds of varying sizes and shapes installed in our conservatory five years ago. At the time we signed up for their five year annual maintenance programme, where they come and clean and service the blinds each year. I cannot recommend this highly enough. After five years the blinds still look as good as new, with none of the staining and insect debris that usually gathers. An excellent follow up service.

I needed blinds to reduce the heat and glare in my small conservatory which was reaching over 41c in summer. My consultant Paul explained the options and recommended cellular blinds all round (I'd initially wanted just the roof and the large windows done, not the small windows and double doors). I'm so glad I took his advice. He fitted the blinds a few weeks later and the difference is staggering. I can read/work without being dazzled and at midday it hasn't exceeded 34c inside. The blinds are well made, look super smart and are easy to operate. As it's got colder, I've found that closing them at night has also helped to keep heat in. I highly recommend Specialist Blinds.

I’ve had my blinds installed now for 2years and I absolutely love them. They are on my conservatory roof and make the room so much more useable. They look like a cream ceiling on dark nights and I open them every morning to let the sun and light in. Can’t recommend Specialist Blinds enough.

From sales to fitting we had a brilliant experience with Specialist Blinds. We had automatic blinds fitted for large sliding doors. We are really happy with the product quality and design and would happily recommend.

We had a complicated kitchen with large sloping glass panels and lights near the glass. The kitchen was hot in summer and cold in winter. We now have amazing blinds that we are very happy with. Massive shout out to Ryan who installed them working non stop from 8am to 7:30pm and to Grant for patiently helping me find an electrician to move our lights.

Am highly delighted with the product and service I’ve received. The representatives were courteous, friendly and knowledgeable and installation carried out with a minimum of fuss. Would definitely recommend this company.
