The German course was the perfect preparation for my season in Austria. It really helped me a lot during the course and especially during my season! Thanks to the German course I was way more secure about talking the language. The German course had the perfect length, every lesson was interesting and fun!
I would recommend the German course to everyone who wants to develop their German and get the perfect preparation for their season! :)

Prior to doing this course, I had very little ability in speaking or understanding German. Doing this course in the months leading up to the 5 week Austrian course was a life saver! Especially for an English person who only speaks English! It prepared me with all the useful ski and snowboard phrases as well as teaching phrases, and also helped prepare me well for working and living in Austria for the season! I’m even going to use my notes from last year to refresh my skills for this year!

It was a really good way to learn, I learned different kind of word that i didnt know before and still got the chance to recap on some old words i may have forgot. The only thing that wasnt so good was the germanbuddy we got by Snowminds, it didnt work so good for me. But else it was really good. I learned alot and know that others will have good use of it too.

Because of the snowlingo, I had a season where I didn't have to worry that much about the german. Before I started I was able to have a 'low level' conversation in german, but by taking this course, you learn all the good skiing terms/sentences, and also a bit austrian, which makes it useful for everyone. I highly recommend everyone going to austria to use this course! It made me feel well prepared for the Anwärter-exams, and it will also get you in skiing mood!

I had never been taught German before, neither in primary nor secondary school, so I felt rather lost prior to departing for a 6-month stay in Austria. I took my German course before I started my ski teacher education through Snowminds. Without this course I would be lost from the first day under the Anwärter. Before I started this course I didn't practice German for 4 years. It was perfect to refresh all basics, and then learn everything you need to get a great season and do well under your exams during the Anwärter and Landes 1. The course is focused on speaking a lot, and that's exactly what you need to the exam, and during a ski lesson as teacher.

I took the German course in connection with my ski instructor education through Snowminds. It worked super for me. Especially because I had Spanish instead of German during my school years. The course prepared me not only for my season but most important for the german test called "Lehrauftritt". I couldn't have been without this german course. I learned more German during this course, than i did throughout 3 years of elementary school.
I started out knowing only a few basics of the German language. The first pair of courses takes you through the very basics, and from then the difficulty rises. Albeit the start was a bit slow and required dedication, I found myself understanding more and more of the introductory videos. The German words take time to learn, but hearing the language spoken out loud in every course helped me a lot!
I do recommend that you dedicate yourself a bit though. Practice the words and sentences in your head or out loud, or at least write them down. It helps a lot!

Snowlingo has been amazing for me!

I started out with it without knowing any german words, And it was a great help for me! It gave me all the basic words And terms That you have to use as a snowboard teacher, And I felt prepared!

Snowlingo was a big help for me bc it helped me learn the basic ski terms in German. And that was a huge help for my German ski exsams. I can only recommend others to take this course since it helps to improve your German vocabulary.
