The processing through Japan Post and the transfer to Canada Post was seamless, transparent and with on-time updates on the status of the parcel. Japan Shopp. reached out to me to inform me of the status of my parcel and answered my queries about customs duties. Japan Shopp. even gave me a voucher for future purchases and slipped in a small packet of Japanese snack in the parcel! Totally unexpected. And Wow!!! Thanks to Erica. You guys rock!

While the delivery was successful, the experience was slightly less convenient than with other carriers like DHL. With DHL, I usually receive a link to pay customs duties and taxes online in advance. This allows for a contactless and seamless delivery.

In this case, the courier arrived without prior notice, requiring payment in cash at the door. Fortunately, I had the cash ready, but for many customers, this can be an unexpected inconvenience.
