Technical expertise in Viessmann but appalling customer service !
I have used SE Plumbing and heating (now SE energy) for some years.
On the plus side they have Viessmann experience, on the negative side I have always found them not brilliant on customer service (poor attitude of engineers, sending inexperienced engineers etc)
Anyway, my experience this year was horrific ! I had my usual annual boiler service plus a gas safety check scheduled for 6th February 2023. The engineer who arrived didnt fill me with confidence and when I showed him boiler and megaflo he then asked me "And where is the hot water tank ?" Well I dont profess to know much about plumbing, but asking such a question kind of showed how little he knew !! I phoned office to inform and to request an experienced engineer. They did manage to find someone to come later that day, however I had to leave him to it as I was due out. When he came to do the CO2 device check instead of calling me or the office he just reported "no device" on the sheet. In fact I had devices but not on clear display (not exactly beautiful accessories ;-) Some months went by during which time I messaged and called many times trying to get resolution. I had multiple apologies ("owner has long covid" - well that might excuse a couple of errors but not this litany !) and still no resolution. Meanwhile I get automated emails on a regular basis. I have some time ago paid for the boiler service but am still awaiting resolution of the gas safety certificate. We are now nearly 3 Months later !!! I will never use this company again Im afraid.

Successful boiler installation
SE Energy installed a Viessmann boiler for us very recently. They did an excellent job, overcoming problems with residue from radiators that initially prevented the system from working properly. They came back repeatedly and successfully fixed the issue. The engineers were extremely courteous at all times and were good to have around while they were working in our home. The customer service team were very responsive which was really appreciated as it took a few weeks to finally get everything working. Thank you Team!

Excellent service
Excellent service. Engineer arrived on time, he was polite and courteous, professional in his approach, found the fault on the heating system, fixed it in a very reasonable time, left the heating and hot water working ok. Will definitely use this company again.
Helpful and knowledgeable
Helpful, friendly and knowledgeable engineers installed a new central heating boiler over 2 days between Christmas and the New Year and they worked very hard.

The SE Plumbing & Heating team were fantastic from start to finish. We had an emergency leak in the bathroom which was seen to promptly. The team that took the booking late on a Friday night were very polite and reassured us that they would resolve the leak issue, which made us feel at ease. The Engineer was very courteous and knowledgeable - he identified the root of the problem, diagnosed it correctly, and arranged a solution in a timely fashion. We are very happy with their work and would most definitely recommend their services.

Absolutely fabulous job, from start to finish.
Great customer service, excellent attention to detail.
The team turned up on time, kept disruption to a minimum, left everything as clean and tidy as possible at the end of each day.
They worked really hard to get everything finished on time and to make sure I was happy with everything, they were even careful about not letting the cat out!
Great aftersales service too, even have the first year's service booked in already.
Very happy to recommend them

Excellent company and great service
I called S E Plumbing at 9.30 am to report we had no hot water. By 9.45 am an operative had arrived to assess. The operative, Rob, was so helpful and even though it was unable to be repaired (the cylinder was very old!) he tried everything but a new cylinder was needed. He came the following week to replace it and the job was done to a great standard and everything was left working and very tidy! Super impressed with him and also thanks to Fiona for arranging it and keeping us updated. I would definitely use this company again and recommend it to anyone
