I bought the dancing giraffe and 2in1 projector. The projector didn’t work but Sensory did replace it and now my grand daughter can enjoy it.

The package arrived torn and retaped. That matter and some minor issues made me ludge a complaint which was greeted swiftly and efficiently by the customer service associate.
I bought it as my daughter's birthday gift and it made me popular. It's rough around the edges but t's a win. The core system appears to be advanced technology, but the movements mechanic can't fully deliver what's promised. But the cute movement mechanical sound compensates well by giving a sense of dealing with a goofy pet. The offered price is complete in its class, anyway.
A tip: in case of gifting them to kids, first present in dark environment with their flashy lights on. 👍

I previously reviewed Sensory Toys, with 1 star because my package was delivered incorrectly. That is because the courier delivered the product to the wrong number than what was written on the package.
I then emailed my complaint and 3 months later I received a full refund.
It took time to get as I had to restate my problem quite a few times, however I felt that the courier did not care and
I became frustrated and kept emailing. I originally emailed Sensory Toys 2 weeks before my package was due for delivery saying the address was wrong however that email was never acknowledged wich then compounded the problem of incorrect delivery. The courier still did not deliver to the written address
Eventually I got the right person incthe contsct centre who was able to rectify the problem and fully refund me. I have given a 4 star due to the time and energy to get my refund.

Only gave 1 star because I did end up getting a full refund after I threatened to escalate to Fair Trading. But it took 2 months. Very frustrating as I purchased the item in November, for Christmas and it never arrived. Don’t bother.

Ordered a Train set in November 2025 for Christmas 2025 and it never arrived. Poor communication. Slack delivery drivers. According to tracking (when they decide to update it) items from overseas when they state its from Australia. Delivery drivers claim to deliver to a "closed business" after repeatedly asking not to just leave it. Requested refund and heard nothing. Lost hundreds of $$$. SCAMMERS..Do not buy from them.

I have just read all the other negative reviews and it was as though I was reading my own exact words about my own totally negative and exasperating experience with this deceptive business!!!!!
Trust Pilot need to allow people to leave ZERO STARS!!
I am going to lodge a complaint with Consumer Affairs Victoria and I encourage everyone to do the same. Otherwise this company will continue to operate selling inferior products at inflated prices with complete disregard for their customers.

Ordered a magnetic train set for my nephew for Christmas. It was a lot smaller than I expected but he loved it, so as they were then advertising free trains, I thought I would then buy another to make his set more interesting...no free trains arrived and over a series of emails they have claimed firstly, it was due to a "glitch" in the system, they weren't really offering free trains & when I didn't accept that, they have now said they can't send free trains with the 98 piece set as they don't fit in the box.... Hahaha, I am still laughing...I wonder if they sit around having meetings trying to come up with new ways to screw people over 😡

I wish I read reviews before I purchased from this company, which appears to be off shore with incorrect tracking.

I ordered my items over a month ago and they keep saying to me that they are dealing with shipping problems which is BS. Here’s what I found and hopefully this helps everyone else that’s looking to buy.
Reviews for the specific company "Sensory Toys Australia" (sensorytoysaustralia.com) are overwhelmingly negative, with numerous reports of scams, non-delivery, poor communication, and damaged goods arriving from China, despite claims of being Australian-owned; however, other genuine Australian retailers like My Playroom offer well-reviewed, high-quality, non-toxic wooden and eco-friendly sensory toys.

Avoid this company. if I could give zero I would. I bought 2 globe projectors, website says they have warehouses in Brisbane and Sydney delivery 8 days. Reality, comes from Hong Kong takes 4 to 8 weeks and when I received them, 1 worked 6 days and the other not at all. Website says full refund if not happy. Well not happy, over 4 weeks and 5 emails later with only stating 3 "acknowledged" this issue is still not resolved. This is a fraudulent company and needs to be investigated by Fair Trading.

Disgusting company pretending to be Australian. Ordered two extra trains on 22 November 2025 with the 98 piece train set but I'm still waiting for them. I received the trains set on December 17 but no extra trains. They sent me an email asking how happy I am with the product which I responded that I'm still waiting for part of the order. I have not received any response. Stay away from these grubby scammers.
Do not trust this company. Customer service is non existent. All the goods are from China and arrived damaged as they were packed in air bags not a box and it's been 2 months and I have not been given the returns process.

I agree with everything other people have said.
The math fidget spinners I ordered were poor quality & the paint does not align properly with the numbers, they are also clunky and hard to turn.
I also paid for a 98 pce train set with two extra trains, the extra trains were not received.
I got two random ‘free gifts’ dried up small markers and a plastic ladle spoon, and another popping $2 toy that was dented up / used.
I have sent over 20 emails with no response until after the 30 days refund window, but then they asked for the order number and email information. Which was provided in every other email I sent.
They’re clearly not Australian based.
I’ll try raise with the ACCC and CBS. I have all the evidence, we’ll see.
Stay away from ‘Sensory Toys Australia’
*UPDATE* after about 30 + emails to them & raised a dispute for my money back through Afterpay (Afterpay were pretty good, but I still did all the ground work) initially STA advised me ‘no refund’ a few times, then said for me to take photos of goods and explain why. I told them I will not have to, as their website claims “no questions asked” (I provided photos to Afterpay) i told them I was sick of the back and forth, I was within my rights for a refund.
I did raise with ACCC & CBS (Comsumer & Business Services in SA) got reference numbers. They couldn’t find their ABN. I asked STA numerous times via email for their ABN. I also outlined that they need to provide me with the full refund I was requesting with exception of $4.99 re-stocking fee. Several emails from different people from STA later offering me 5, 10, 15, 20 & 40% off, then further emails back down to 15% (dealing with different people - they lied saying couldn’t see my old emails - I provided them every time with email threads!
Finally after a few more emails, and advised them no more emails will come from me & they can continue the dispute with ACCC & CBS! SURPRISE SURPRISE, They finally gave me their refund address, offered the refund (minus $4.99 restocking fee and costing me postage & several hours of my time) and confirmed the amount- sort of. And lastly they provided a ABN, which I’m yet to confirm - the one on the ACCC look up is incorrect as they couldn’t confirm it was an Australian business.
I provided them (STA) a tracking number and posted it back with sign on delivery, I then notified Afterpay who confirmed that I’ll get a refund. Afterpay have paid and will get their money from them I’m assuming as I’d paid all but last payment anyway as it was on hold for dispute.
I am still going to follow up with CBS & ACCC as this is a deceptive drop-shipping company with a ghost store. They both said that STA are breaking several Australian consumer laws.
So if you can, please raise a complaint with the ACCC, get a receipt number & don’t let STA get away with it!!
DM me via Insta at Misty Birdbush if you want my reference #’s for ACCC/ CBS, the ABN I was ‘told’ (we’ll see if it’s a made up one) or if you need further information that might help you or others to get your money back, or get scammed in the future.

To start with I ordered a 98 piece (Large) set and then when I received my confirmation email it stated it was a 38 piece (Large) set. Then I actually received a 26 piece set. When I tried to organise to send it back (at their cost as it wasn’t what I ordered) for a refund, they claimed I received a better set (despite being significantly less pieces) and then would only offer a partial refund and told me if I sent it back it would be at my expense plus a restocking fee. As what I ordered was supposed to be a Christmas gift but I put it aside to buy something else I no longer want/need the item and want my money back. I wish I’d looked into this business before purchasing as it appears to be a scam. I have reported them to the ACCC.
If I could give 0 rating I would.
The products I received are of poor quality and are cheap imitations of what was advertised. Lengthy delays receiving the order. I have sent multiple emails with no response to date to express my concerns about the products sent and have requested a full refund. There is no contact details other than an email address which obviously does not get answered.
I was unable to give them as presents as they are not suitable for any child let along a child with sensory issues.
They need to be banned from selling and advertising as they are misleading with what they advertise and what you actually receive.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Avoid this company and purchase the items from elsewhere. I have been battling them since November last year as I have only received part of my order. They are not Australian based - the items come from China and not within the time frames promised.
Getting a response is near impossible. Through social media you can get a response where they promise to look into your issue, and then they go silent. It took a month to get a response from customer service and my issue is still not resolved.
Avoid this company and go elsewhere.

Wish there was a zero button. Half delivery arrived then so difficult to contact or get replies. Asked for all sorts of proof and then delayed further. They pledged full refunds and replacements but these did not happen. PayPal dispute was unsatisfactory as the item was to be returned at my cost in perfect condition. After a Christmas opening by a young child this was not happening. Not Australian as claimed. Addresses given are not as stated. Totally lousy experience. Never again.
Avoid Sensory Toys Australia SCAM WARNING
I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. I placed an order on 6 December for almost $200 worth of items and have never received anything. Communication was slow to begin with, but the moment I requested a refund, they completely stopped responding. No items, no refund, no accountability. This business is either incredibly dishonest or completely incapable of fulfilling orders. Do not waste your money, stay far away!
This company is nothing but a scam from start to finish. Its claims that it has warehouses throughout Australia with delivery times within 8 days of ordering are a complete fantasy. They advertise prolifically and aggressively on Facebook and Instagram but the products advertised are not what they deliver, nor within time frames that are acceptable. I placed an order in November which was immediately acknowledged with advice that the goods would ship within the week. Right from the beginning I knew there was an issue. My order information was incorrect and I spent the next four weeks battling to communicate with the group. It was obvious the goods were shipping out of China as the tracking details forwarded were similar to those sent via Temu. Upon investigation it was clear that this was not an Australian based company. I contacted them on multiple occasions advising I was going to arrange a chargeback for the goods via my bank and finally after 5 weeks a parcel arrived. Surprise surprise it was not what I ordered, absolutely not the quality advertised nor did it include everything as ordered. Again no communication from them when asked to follow up on their 100% guarantee or money back. Complete radio silence.
The bank has now completed the chargeback process which required extensive copies of all my communication with this supplier
Do not fall for this scam. I'm a pretty wary customer at the best of times and despite my checking they held an Australian business number and business address it became obvious early on that they were just an online front for a rip off supplier out of China. On tracking my payment it was deducted from my account from a bank account in Canada!
So beware!
If I could give minus 50 stars don’t go near sensory toys should be shut down
Bought the cards and device and no device in the bag still waiting after 6 weeks for any customer service and trying through PayPal to refund my money ☹️
