Great experience

Great experience! Scanned each book, boxed them up and shipped them via Fed Ex with the label provided. Within 3 days received a notice my shipment had arrived and was being checked. The next day I was notified that payment was on its way. I used direct deposit into my bank account.

I sent all the books that I had scanned…

I sent all the books that I had scanned and dropped them at the inpost and then the next day the disabled my account accusing me of breaking their terms and conditions even though I sent all the books and then haven’t even given me my books back or the money for them instead of

Sent numerous emails over 3 day period…

Sent numerous emails over 3 day period and habe gotten NO response, NO help what so ever. Customer service is TERRIBLE

I had a due date and mailed the books…

I had a due date and mailed the books at FedEx w 3 days left. Unfortunately it arrived at World of Books after the due date. World of Books declined to send me the $21 "because you missed the due date" despite the FedEx label showing I had gotten to mail it before the expiration. How great that this company received my books, refused to credit my the $21 and kept the books to see. I tried to contact someone going through the auto chat but no luck. There's no phone number to speak to a person and their human chat "Nora"was nowhere to be found. I wish I would of given the books to my local library. Use another book seller or donate them...

Definitely recommend

Being able to sell some of my old college textbooks has been great. Bonus points for the free shipping! Got my books checked and paid in a timely manner too.

Double standards!

For the second time in a row, the most expensive item in my trade *mysteriously* wasn't accepted.
Additionally, I had recently bought a book from world of books which was in really bad condition (sold as "very good"). I decided to sell it back to them without even reading it and they had the audacity to decline it on the grounds of marked pages!
