So back in 2024 I completed my first parkrun on 6th of January so from there I set myself a challenge to try and complete 50 in one year due to weather and some been cancelled. I didn’t manage to Get the 50 in that year. I then moved on to do a 10 K in York from there. I signed up to use runner setting Me three runs per week an easy run temper run then a long run per mind. I’ve never run past 5K previously and then went to run the 10k from a 12 week plan it was so good using the App and super super easy to use. Then plucked up the courage and signed up to do a half marathon and then hooked my game on the runner and signed up to do a marathon in 2025 which was the Manchester one so from using Runner App I’ve managed to progress my running capabilities with a set planning place that I can then follow with ease. I’ve been using runner for about nearly 3 years now and has really improved my mental health my all of health and well-being and I just love it. I try to promote Runna whenever I can and will continue to do so hopefully be part of the runner team in the distant future till then I will still progress my running using the app

I accidentally signed up for a subscription with Runna and realised almost immediately. I emailed straight away asking for it to be cancelled.
Since then, I have chased them three separate times and have never received a single reply. No acknowledgement, no response, nothing.
It’s incredibly frustrating to be completely ignored. Mistakes happen – I understand that – but the absolute lack of communication is unacceptable. You can’t just take people’s money and ignore their emails.
Really disappointed with the customer service experience. I expected much better.

Really liked the design of the running gear. Very soft and comfortable to wear. Great pockets for running stuff. Easy to order and delivered really quickly. Very efficient.

A fab app that I have now used for just over a year. Creates bespoke running programs that prepare you for 5k 10k or even marathons. The main coach is ai based which is freakish in its accuracy. Tells you pace and distance covered . I used for general fitness... When I have asked questions the coaches get back to you rarely quickly and offer good advice... Can recommend for the older runner like me, although I think they could improve algorithm for older runners differing metabolism.... Would be good to have some older coaches too, having said that it doesn't the job well 👍

After running the London winter 10k I signed up for 2027 and was told a 2 week trial of Runna would be added.
It wasn’t and it took a week for Runner to recognise this and today they sent me a link. When I went to pay the link was not added and my money was taken again without the free trial.
I set up a plan but it would not start until July. Efforts to get help to sort this out fell to an Ai robot that made things worse
I have asked for a full refund but the Ai Bot says wait for a human
At this time all I can say is Runna, run away from it

I downloaded this app to help train for my first marathon. Unfortunately however there is an issue with the GPS and my runs have not been accurately tracked. So the coaching advice is incorrect, the pace recorded is incorrect and I'm receiving no prompts during the course of my run.
I have reported this glitch on multiple occasions but it has not been resolved.
This is disappointing for an app that has a great reputation. It's also very unmotivating to return from a long run to see the app thinks I only went to the end of my drive!

I like the app, tailored training to your running level, good motivation for preparing for events. Something features limited like showing active run on phone and apple watch simultaneously if phone screen is blocked. So I did on nike run app, so you can easily watch different data on both devices.

I love the Runna App, so far I appreciate the accuracy in tracking my running distance and pace while I am training.i would give it 5 stars if I could track other workouts including walking and if it provided some of the flexibility and editing features that my friends can do on their Garmin trackers. I love all things Apple so I am glad to have an Apple Watch and this Runna App works so great with my Apple Watch!

I signed up to Runna specifically because they advertise themselves as suitable for all distances, including 100km plans. Unfortunately, my experience has shown that this claim is misleading at best, and potentially dangerous at worst.
The 100km plan structure is deeply flawed. Most weeks consist of a couple of very short runs midweek, followed by one huge “expedition” run at the weekend. This kind of load distribution is not appropriate for ultra training and significantly increases injury risk. There’s insufficient cumulative volume, poor fatigue management, and no sensible progression for the demands of a 100km race.
When I raised these concerns, the feedback was essentially brushed off with “we’re planning to improve this in the future.” That doesn’t help athletes who are paying now and trusting the plan now with their health and training.
I was also explicitly told that Runna would help me amend the plan to make it safer and more appropriate. That support never actually materialised. The plan remained unchanged, and I was left to either follow something I didn’t believe was safe or abandon it altogether.
To make matters worse, I paid for a full year upfront, based on their marketing that they support ultra distances. When it became clear that they don’t adequately support this level of training, Runna would not pause the plan, adjust my subscription, or refund the difference. I’ve effectively been penalised for trusting their advertising.
Runna may work well for shorter distances, but in its current state it is not suitable for serious ultra runners, and certainly not for 100km preparation. Until their ultra plans are properly rebuilt, and their customer support becomes more accountable, I can’t recommend it to anyone training beyond standard marathon distances.

Easy to use app, nice Apple Watch interface, custom plan based on my capabilities

There is a bug in the app making it unusable. I understand this may be affecting many different people but as a paid subscriber I do wish I had another avenue to see my required workout for the day.

Great app for beginners like myself going from not having run in over 7 years to pacing for my first 10K within the first 15 weeks of starting with Runna (from scratch). Love it and will continue for as long as possible. Works great with Apple Watch, making it much easier to use without needing to hold your phone

The workouts overall are pretty good. However , the app is not up to standard. There is no way of inputting that you did cross training, so the triathlon feature is redundant as it wont count your cycles or swim into the plan. If you are ill, there is no way of tracking this, apart from apparently there's a new feature of -'not feeling hundred percent', which is impossible to find! Customer service is okay, but every time you speak to them, they say they're working on it and it's months later , and nothing changes.

Been with Runna for around 12 months now and would say Runna is TOP NOTCH in terms of planning, guidance and support for any type of Runner. Even the Podcasts are fab!
Runna provides the silver service :-)
Absolutely love it - the plans and support are the best out there and I've tried all on the market
Best running/fitness app i have ever used. People dont use the app to its full potential. This app has genuinely changed my life, it keeps you accountable, it talks to you mid session, keeps you informed. Just use the app, you wont regret it.
Great app! Been using it for months and has been always great
I had a bit of an “issue” where I kept thinking I had to press the “Start New Plan” button every time I wanted to add an activity like Strength. The actual button to add the activity didn’t stand out at all to me, so I didn’t even realise it was a button. I kept going in loops, accidentally starting new plans, and never getting to add the activity I wanted, as I would start a new plan without it again
They told me I was meant to press on the activity itself, so I did… But then it just kept taking me back to the same page, which wasn’t clear to me. So I kept starting loads of new plans by mistake and never actually adding the activities I wanted 😂🤦🏽♀️
When they explained the correct way to do it, I left feedback explaining what was happening and how it could be clearer… and literally straight away I got a message saying the tech team had made the change in the newest update! Huge thanks to Evie, Lottie, Cesca, and Anthony - I probably messaged you all loads about this, when it was actually quite simple once I understood which buttons were buttons 🤣 So sorry for that, but thank you so much for sorting it so quickly! I was honestly like WOWWWWWWW - no way they 1) actually made the change, and 2) SO QUICKLY !!!
Usually when you give feedback to apps or companies it’s ignored or takes years for anything to change, even if lots of people report it. But it was literally just me, yet they still did it!
When I tried it again, the activity buttons now stand out clearly, so you can add them, and it doesn’t prompt me to start a new plan after adding it. So much easier now !
This was the best customer service I’ve ever had. I feel like whenever someone asks “when was the best customer service you ever had?” I’ll always use this example forever 🤣🤙🏽 I literally recommend Runna to everyone I know, telling them about the app and how amazing the chat support is whenever I have a question. If you’re doing running, it’s definitely worth paying the subscription fee 100% 👏🏽 They even give you VIP priority the week before your race and reply pretty instantly with advice if you need it - even when when I’ve been ill before a race and wanted advice. I’ve even asked random things like what yoga mat to buy, and they always help with any questions or problems ! Very impressed !!!
Runna created a running plan after answering just a few questions, integrated the plan with my Garmin forerunner and has my plan ready to go each day. Can’t get much easier than that and the plan generated was logically built and easy to manage. I focus now almost exclusively on execution not planning.
Been using Runna for 4 weeks and am already feeling progress in my runs.
