Have never used this site before but…

Have never used this site before but I’m definitely impressed, ordered two rugs and didn’t know whether I would receive it on time or how they would turn out but honestly I’m surprised. Got two kitchen runners, same style but different sizes and they look fantastic! Quality of the rugs are really really good too!! Have already recommended to others and would definitely order from here again!

Colours slightly different

Colours slightly different.
The colours of the runner were slightly different than seen online. Online appeared blue/white but when rug arrived was blue/beige. I'm still happy with the rug as non-slip that was needed and good quality. I would have preferred blue/white so scoring a little lower otherwise would have been 5 stars.

Problem with delivery

The rug is fine, however it was sent to my billing address, not the delivery address I requested. This was confirmed on the order form. I assume this was a result of human error, but it has caused me some inconvenience as it necessitated a 200 mile round trip to collect the rug from my home/billing address to my holiday home/ delivery address.

Excellent communication

Excellent communication , rug arrived quickly ,good value for money really pleased with the service , only one issue , the rugs colour isn't exact to advertising picture, but I'll still keep it .

No contact - poor customer service

Placed an order for a rug on 21 Feb, received an automated email informing me that the order has been accepted. Have heard nothing for the next 8 days (6 working days). Considering the website indicates that orders to mainland addresses will usually be processed for dispatch the next working day, or 1 day later if received after 4pm, with delivery usually a day after that, I see no reason to have heard nothing from Rug Traders.
The only other communication has been 2 automated emails on 25 Feb asking for us to review the company and the rug!
I have attempted to contact Rug traders via phone and their online contact form, but have had no success or response!
If there was a problem or delay with the order an email would suffice but without any response to my enquiries it would seem the companies customer service standards are slim to none.
Wish I had read some of these reviews before ordering with them!
If I hear nothing further in the next day or so I will instruct my credit card provider to cancel the payment/order under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act.

I would like to hope that the issue is a simple one with the courier, usually when a customer is asked for a review from an automated email, this is because the order has been dispatched from our warehouse/s. We do sincerely apologise about this if this has not been the case this time, but I can promise that the team will resolve the matter for you today. Our emails and telephone lines are manned at a minimum 9-2pm every day. We will ask the website team to check the contact form for any issues this morning as well. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.

I’m very pleased with the runner

I’m very pleased with the runner. It’s exactly as described and a good colour too. Love the ‘non slip’ quality…. It’s fab.
Shame they use DHL for delivery thought as they are a shambles. You get a message saying it out for delivery. Then you get one it’s been delayed. Then another saying it’s here at the depot but we haven’t received it. Then one on Weds saying it will be deliver on Tuesday (yesterday). Shambles.
But apart from shambolic delivery - The rug is great and can recommend and would use again.

Ordered and received an email next day…

Ordered and received an email next day telling me out of stock and no future resupply, yet site still showing same product as available. RUBBISH

UPDATE JULY 2023 - You will note that they said they would have someone look into this on here, THEY DIDN'T, never heard from them again, apart from the constant email marketting! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Bought an item online

Bought an item online, said it was in stock.
Turned out it wasn’t in stock. They couldn’t get me one so cancelled the order after having waited over a week!

Thank you for your feedback. We apologise for the experience you have had with us. I have looked into your order and the communication you had received. I can see that an email was sent to the email address linked to your order within 48 hours outlining there was a delay on your order, whilst we tried to source the rug from our suppliers or one of our stores for you. This explanation was given on the email that was sent. As soon as those options were looked into, we advised you of the outcome and unfortunately due to us not being able to provide you with the product you had ordered, it was passed to the accounts team immediately for a full refund. The refund was processed the same day. We sincerely apologise for the item not being in stock and the timeline that you had waited for the final answer of whether we could fulfil the order for you, but unfortunately the answers that came back to the team did take the timeline it did and they communicated as quickly as they possible could.
