AVOID Etsy Rossie Jewellery Studio- scammer
Horrendous experience! The most deceptive Etsy seller in my long experience on the site. I see other reviews talk about how the items are lacking quality so there are clearly many issues. Avoid this seller and report them to Etsy.
Our story:
We selected items for a charm necklace- for a dear young friend's 21st birthday. The item was not sent for a week then it said it would be here within a few days. A week after the expected date still nothing had arrived. We were now 10 days from birthday event and getting nervous. We contacted Magdalena saying nothing had arrived and we were concerned about the birthday gift arriving in time and asked for the tracking number.
After waiting a couple days, finally Magdalena responded apologising and saying royal mail must have lost it-- so she would send a replacement. Still, she refused to give us the original tracking number....We asked to have the item sent special delivery -which we would pay for. She said she would send it out special delivery on the Monday- 3 days from our exchange. But still not received a tracking number. By the Wednesday afternoon nothing had arrived and we still had not received any tracking number for the new send. We contacted her again. Now she said the courier had collected it Tuesday night (who does that?) and then provided a royal mail tracking number, and that she cancelled the order(!?), refund us and would still send the item because of the inconvenience. Well, that sounded kind. But Royal Mail tracking said that the order was only made a minute after I had emailed- and that they were still waiting on the item. End of day Wednesday, still no movement on the tracking info. Emailed again saying she was lying-- as she clearly had been, Royal mail still didn't have the item. Thursday, still no movement on the tracking. Contacted Etsy to complain about this very unprofessional seller with not a drop of integrity. They then refunded me, as she had not.
This woman, Magdalena is definitively a scammer- and from the sounds of it, selling junk. Still, our young friend would have enjoyed her trinket and will be heartily disappointed not to receive it.
We reported her to Etsy and recommend that your do the same. If you have any issues with RossieJewelleryStudio on Etsy, please contact Etsy and make a formal complaint about the shop and seller as we had. She should not be selling anything to anyone, absolutely no integrity and should not be trusted for any reason.
