As a new executive director of a small charity, it was so hard dealing with so many different situations.. However, I felt confident and knew that Roots HR was a team of people that I could rely on for HR support and advice. They listened, they responded quickly to my requests, and they were calm.

We asked Roots HR to help us review our current contracts of employment and any benefits we could offer our staff within our current HR practice and financial constraints. The information, advice and support were all invaluable. They spent the time to talk in depth with us about our current processes and future development so that all the advice given was specific to our charity's needs and will now inform our policy reviews. Our contracts are all revised and we are confident that their clarity and detail will benefit our employees and reassure our trustees. A good experience and worth the investment.

Roots HR did our job description review and salary benchmarking
Roots HR did our job description review and salary benchmarking. The whole exercise has been a very useful guide for the senior management and Trustees to review our structure and the employee's wages. The salary benchmarking gave us proper insight into how to navigate giving appropriate salary uplifts to every employee. They also help us draft a Reward Policy for employees, which now opens the doors to having the conversation of reviewing benefits and leaves. Ann, our consultant, was very professional and organised in the process.
