Warranty claim dealt with quickly and efficiently.
One of the glass units had misted up on our pyramid roof lantern - our warranty claim was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Delivery of a replacement unit was organised and confirmed within a day of submitting our warranty claim.
Very happy with the level of customer service.

we bought 4 large roof lights and very large kitchen Lantern from Roof Maker about 8 months ago based in Thurmaston, Leicester LE4 8AS. At the time when we placed the order he give us very good service and promised us any issue at any time we will respond with in 24 hours. Our electrician called Roof Maker and they took all the details and OMG the service was excellent. With in 2 hours Roof maker responded and sorted the issue. Can't fault ROOF MAKER SERVICE AT ALL. In fact if any one wants to come and see the work you are most well come and ask roof maker for my contact.

Great service recovery!
The 1M pyramid skylight arrives with a small scratch. There was no quibble about correcting the fault. The company took the order back and it was re-delivered within a week.
It looks terrific and I would thoroughly recommend this Co.

Inflexible customer service
Great product - but disappointed by the inflexibility through the customer team. We asked to change the colour of the blinds within a week of placing our order and there was no effort to help or understand our position. A 'computer says no' attitude from staff which doesn't match the expensive, high quality product you are investing in.

As a bespoke manufacturer, we begin production shortly after an order is placed, and while we always do our best to make adjustments where possible, however, changes outside the 24-hour grace period can be difficult to accommodate as we don’t hold stock and work to order. We understand that the team explored a few options with yourself to accommodate the change but as these included an additional cost, you decided to stay with the original order.

The advice, guidance and support given by Roof Maker really are outstanding. Their products are great but, in my case, I had issues because my builder didn’t install correctly. Nonetheless, Roof Maker stepped in and sorted out my issues swiftly - and their technician (Brett) was outstanding: helpful, tidy and efficient. Wish I could give a higher marking than five stars !

I only contacted Roof Maker Ltd to obtain a quotation for some bifold doors. They got back to me very quickly with a very good price and where happy to wait until the construction work got to a stage where I can get accurate dimensions for the door opening.

Good product
One of the better products on the market. Miles better than the go to roof light companies.
Price is ok. Yes it's a lot more than off the shelf solutions but you do pay for what you get.
Instructions were a little out of date / not clear however the team were responsive and advised that they were being updated.

Latter today customer contacted me arranged a refund for which I am most gratefull
My biggest issue has been around the blackout blind, that I discovered after purchase was not integral with the rooflight and supplied by a third party. I discovered, with further information that the blind reduces the window size and messes up the alignment of the roof light with other elements in the room, I was told I could cancel the blind and get 50% back. When the blind arrived, sometime after the window, I was disappointed with the quality given that it was significantly more than similar on line. A gentleman phoned and kindly offered to give me the blind free- I feel if used it I should be paid for. Last week I removed the cardboard protection in order to install the blind, and it did not work. Sales sent me installation and sync details, it does not work. The remote works, the driver gets power it appears the blind doesn't, I don't want to dismantle to check the mechanism and invalidate my claim. I have sent emails and left messages but customer services does not respond. The sales assistant Sarah does her best.
It is delaying the job, I have no choice but to order a similar blind from an alternate source. Perhaps the gentleman who called before might call again to discuss refunding me
