Bad service
Bad service. I have a file with Europcar Mexico of 140 USD pending for a month and a half. The messages received are robotized written in French by a translator and impossible to understand. The file is not progressing. I do not recommend this car rental insurance to the French.

We note your claim is ongoing as not all information has been provided to our claim handlers. Our claims handlers are currently awaiting the following:
- Confirmation of your excess liability.
- An invoice from the rental company confirming the amount charged for damage and admin charges.
Our claim handlers outlined the documents outstanding and suggested that you contact the rental company. Unfortunately, you did not respond to their request and were chased twice.
The claim is not progressing as you are not cooperating with our claims handlers. We suggest contacting the rental company to obtain the outstanding information/documents required.

Is this even a legitimate insurance company?
Riverside Insurance Agency Malta is a mysterious entity. Are they even a real insurance company? They’re listed as providing "full protection" in their "Platinum Excess Waiver", but their policies are full of loopholes and hidden conditions. If you’re renting through Carjet, avoid their insurance—it’s a scam designed to deny your claims when you need it most. I also wasted a full month chasing after this claim while having to file everything by myself. Stay away from this fraudulent business and use the insurance product directly from the rental company—you will have a much better experience and peace of mind for sure!

We're sorry that you feel a one star review is warranted. We are a legitimate insurance company and we note your dissatisfaction is in regards to a declined claim.
Our insurance product is designed to reimburse the policyholder in the event of certain covered incidents. We do have exclusions and just because a claim has been declined does not mean that we are a fraudulent business.
